However in this match they were behind in just the 32nd minute against Lens and then they had a chance as a Lens player was sent off in the 39th minute but have you seen Lens were reduced to 10 men but they managed their defense brilliantly as we saw that the reigning champions PSG were unable to score as their game was ruled out for offside at the last minute by a goal by Fabian Ruiz.

Everyone expected the French champions to win this final match very easily but their best players were missing in this match such as Bradley Barcola and Ousmane Dembele. Since PSG were unable to win the French Super Cup at the start of this new season, it seems that they will try to be more aggressive in Ligue 1 in their upcoming season.

You guys amused me sometimes, we are talking about the UEFA Champions League trophy and you guys are talking about something French domestic trophy, do you guys actually think those guys would stand a chance to even get a draw if that was a UEFA Champions League trophy? Let's try to be realistic at times, I won't say maybe Paris Saint German didn't want that trophy, but I strongly believe they don't Care about that trophy, trust me, and why should we blame just Arsenal for losing to Paris Saint German, who would believe Bayern Munich will get kicked out by this same Paris Saint German team?

PSG left their best players on the bench for a final. What could possibly go wrong!! Lens were down to 10 men and still parked the bus like champions. PSG had all the ball, all the chances and still could not break through. You can't win trophies by assuming the other team will just roll over. That is not how football works. This defeat might actually be good for them. It should serve as a good reminder that reputation does not win games performance does.

Ever since I started watching Ligue (which is not really a long term) but ever since, PSG has been the most dominant team in the league, just as Bayern Munich is to the German league, I feel like PSG is just Ligue 1. I have watched Lens play before but then the overpowering ball PSG plays in Ligue 1, is exactly what I'm referring to, like without a doubt we all can assume PSG takes the league this season. No one would really contest that but then again, it is football and anything can happen.

We can define it as quite strange that Paris Saint-Germain was unable to overturn the situation despite the numerical majority and the individual strength of the team, a decidedly different result was expected, but we must also congratulate Lens for having been able to defend a result that was very much in the balance.

Ismaëlo Ganiou is one of the major reason behind that victory, the kid was so wonderful with his performance. For his age, he's already playing with lots of experience, he handled the defense perfectly that PSG attackers couldn't easily score, what a fantastic performance from him, i hope he keep it up.
 I believe Enrique would be overwhelmed by how Lens countered his tactics with one man down, it wasn't what they expected and it should get them worried cause Lens was the runners up last season and could very threatening to them this season. Well the lose won't affect them much cause they had won the SuperCup before that match.

PSG performance in their last game is not that good, I believe if Aston Villa players are complete like last season in the UEFA Super Cup, they can beat PSG, after looking at the performance against Aston Villa I believe PSG will not beat Lens easily and Lens later beat them with 1 goal and win the game, Lens got a red card from the first half and they managed the pressure and won the game and lifted the trophy, If Lens was allowed last season to play the game against PSG without prostponding the game Lens would have won the league, I still believe that lens will have a good season if they perform well like they did last season.
