PSG was lucky to have equalized the two goals they conceded in the first half, I had already given up on the game when they were down by 2:0  but all thanks to F. Torres who was their savior tonight as he scored brace to help PSG share points with Rennes. Your prediction was almost perfect, Mendes absence affected PSG and Rennes took advantage of their loophole to score, both teams scored but PSG couldn't win cause their second goal so late but hopefully PSG does better in their next match.

I didn't see the first 45 minutes of the game but I was sure as hell they where as bad as shit. I saw the second 45 minutes though where they fought hard to win but couldn't get the necessary three points. I think this is a wake up call the staffs and management that they need to sit up. You can not have such a poor start and expect to continue this way.

I'd say it was superb debut games for thr world cup winner and Spanish international as he was fortunate to score the both goals to get a single point out of the game. The both side scoring predictions came out as expected but not the win.

At the start of this season, the reigning UCL champions were on the verge of stumbling but I noticed that the new players joining the team from Barcelona have saved PSG's quality Bbcause even though this player didn't get a place in PSG's starting eleven today, he was able to squeeze out his experience by coming on as a substitute.

Looking at his performance today, we think he might be a game changer because he did the same thing against Argentina in the World Cup final and it was his winning goal that helped Spain win the title.In any case, given Ferran Torres' performance today, we can all assume that the French champions have acquired a very talented player because he scored two goals in the 71st and 82nd minutes of PSG's first match in Ligue 1 today against Rennes club.

The first half ended in a very disappointing way, Stade Rennais scored 2 goals in the first half, I really can't believe that a strong team like PSG will concede 2 goals in the first half. PSG started the match with their strong forwards from the beginning, despite the strong attack of Kvaratskhelia, Dembélé and Doué, they couldn't score any goals. I don't understand if PSG will be able to turn the match around in the second half, but I still hope that in the second half they will be able to equalize the match and take control of the match again. Although the task is very difficult now since they have already conceded 2 goals, let's see if PSG can do something incredible in the second half. They lost 1-0 to Lens in the Trophée des Champions, and now they are in such a disappointing situation in the first match of Ligue 1, anyway let's see if they can turn this match around somehow.

Lens, Lyon, Lille, Marseille, and Monaco all win their first games of the season, I will want them to improve this time, winning consistency will actually make PSG to be afraid of losing their position, and the league dominance, and at the end, one of them can win the league.

I almost started by calling the Ligue 1 a farmers league because the way things are happening doesn't make sense at all, imagine PSG started with a poor performance and even if they continue like this losing and playing a draw I believe at the end they'd still become champions, it is annoying that no team in that league are ready to chase them till the end of the season. Now we are proud of how Rennes held PSG to a draw, it was impressive coming from them but can they continue with that style of play especially when they meet PSG at home? We shouldn't praise these guys that much because they feel if they win PSG or draw against them that they have won something big, which is ridiculous. I expect whichever team that is playing against PSG to always maintain that energy even against any other team because playing against PSG and ending up in a draw or by chance get all 3pt should be a motivation to continue in that manner, let's forget it, after today PSG will report for duty. And as for the host team, if they were good enough I believe it would have gone their way with them securing all 3pt.

Rennes played a very tactical football. I didn’t expect the kind of play I got from them tonight. They were very coordinated behind and looked really dangerous in the attacking position. PSG defense was poor today, Rennes found ways to get behind their lines easily and got the ball right where they wanted it. I suppose PSG underestimated them and only realized when they were 2 goals down.
It was a tough one for Enrique and his boys today but, you just know these guys and their winning mentality, they never were going to lose that game.

It's just being so annoying to me seeing how Lens and the rest of the other teams in the French League aren't stepping up their games to try to dethrone PSG from dominating this side of the league for a very long time now, and I don't know when any of them will be able to do such, live up to expectations, and change this tradition that has long been witnessed here. I expect these other teams to boost their squads and bring in quality players too, as PSG has quite a good number of interesting players on their team who have helped them in maintaining their dominance until today.

For one team to be dominating the league competition, it hardly makes the league interesting. That is why Ligue 1 is not too highly rated, because it is not competitive. I want to see different teams winning Ligue 1, but the way things are going, I don't think any other team will be able to win the league for a long time except PSG.No team is really ready to spend money to bring in new players and strengthen their squad. It has been a long time that I have been looking up to Monaco, Lyon, and Marseille, hoping that they would strengthen their teams seriously and challenge PSG, but they are not ready.

In fact, Lens, a team I didn't even think would be in the race, are now the team competing with PSG. However, with the quality of their squad, it would take a lot of luck for them to win Ligue 1, and even with luck, they would still find it very difficult.It was even last season that I was expecting Lens to take advantage of the situation, as they were not in the Champions League. PSG were also not putting as much effort into the Ligue 1 competition because they had shifted their focus towards the Champions League.

Marseille did spend. They were simply changing managers every 8 months. A team identity cannot be established if the coach is different every other season. It is like renovating a house but changing architects halfway through every time.

Monaco and Lyon have totally different situations. Lyon literally had financial regulators telling them they CANNOT spend. And Monaco is based on developing players and selling them the second they are good. That is how they stay alive. Basically they are an extremely successful academy with the occasional title winning team for around 6 months and only for a short while before the market starts dismantling them.

Where Lens actually lost the title was not against PSG. Those were the autumn games against clubs that were responsible for relegation. October. That is when the championship went downhill. Not due to PSG or the Champions League or anything dramatic.
