No buy from Strategy? That's surprising or they plan to start once the public sale for STRC is closed.

Was there a time MicroStrategy stated they will be buying bitcoins every Mondays? am curious because i haven't come across such news

No there has never been but he usually post the Michael saylor portfolio Chart on Sunday
And then announce the amount they bought on Monday.
Take it that the Chart served more like a spoiler alert to us.

Do we need to be worried if other companies are buying while Michael Saylor is silent?

Worried? Why should I be worried? What I'm stating is that it's surprising for saylor not to buy while smaller companies are even buying. Hence my curiosity why.

I might be wrong, but the lack of buying could be related to a "blackout period" that coincides with the STRC issue.
An issue cannot make a substantial change in the capital of the company right before issuing a new set of instruments, debt or equity.
I am unsure about this, but it could be a reason.
Expect a huge purchase this week, with the announcement on the following Monday, as usual.

I think I'm leaning towards the reason being a blackout period too.

For me, what matters is not so much that as the fact that it is becoming a bitcoin bank. Not in the traditional banking sense, but more like an investment bank. I remember years ago when Saylor announced that he was stepping down as CEO of the company to focus solely on bitcoin. And I thought that would be a way of retiring, since all he had to do was buy bitcoin.  At that time, I couldn't even imagine what he would be capable of building. First, there is his ability to raise funds to buy bitcoin, but he is also creating products with the help of AI to compete with traditional markets, such as fixed income and dividend investing.

Michael saylor is raising additional funds to buy Bitcoin into his holdings. Strategy currently have the largest Bitcoin holding for a corporate entity and it looks like he is making preparations to buy more bitcoin stash. This is a good move for strategy because investing in Bitcoin will bring additional values and wealth to the company. I think they are worth considering for adding to a well-diversified portfolio.

The estimated net income, market capitalization, and P/E multiple (price-to-earnings ratio), especially when compared to S&P 500 companies, make the investment strategy of microStrategy Company truly remarkable.

Strategy Q2 2025 Earnings Reports: $10 Billion in Profit.


Strategy (formerly MicroStrategy), the largest corporate holder of bitcoin, just released its earnings report for Q2 2025, showing $10 billion in net income and $14 billion in operating income, mostly due to Bitcoin.
The Strategy Q2 2025 report has surprised Wall Street. Analysts were expecting a small loss. Instead, Strategy delivered an earnings per share (EPS) of $32.60 vs the expected -$.10.
Revenue was $114.5 million, slightly above estimates.
“This will be the most important event in the history of Strategy,” said Executive Chairman Michael Saylor before the earnings call.
Strategy’s earnings are directly tied to its bitcoin holdings. As of the end of July, the company held 628,791 BTC, valued at around $72 billion, or 3% of all the bitcoin in existence.
In Q2 alone, the company recorded a $14 billion unrealized gain from bitcoin under new fair-value accounting rules. These new rules allow the company to include gains or losses based on the current price of bitcoin, even if they haven’t sold any.

The average bitcoin price during the quarter was around $73,277, and by the end of July, it was $118,000.
Strategy also uses these bitcoin metrics:

New year-end targets: 30% BTC Yield and $20 billion BTC $ Gain
The company increased its full-year BTC yield target to 30%. It expects $34 billion in operating income and $24 billion in net income for the year — if bitcoin gets to $150,000 by year’s end.
In addition to earnings, Strategy has become a leader in using the capital markets to fund its bitcoin strategy. The company raised over $10 billion through stock offerings during and after the quarter.
The company also has other capital raising programs under different tickers, STRK, STRF, and STRD, and has raised hundreds of millions more. As of July 29, over $17 billion remains available through these programs.
After the earnings release, Strategy’s stock rose 1.69% after hours to $397.95 and intraday to $404. However, it dropped the next day to under $380. The stock is up 40% YTD and 149% over the last year.

That is actually a very interesting thing as well. You are referring to this slide:



This slide is nothing new, actually, but a good way of communicating that the mNAV can be played by Strategy to fuel further growth. I guess also this represents a good example of how it would be difficult for the mNAV to go below 1x.
