a home win was celebrated by wisła płock against cracovia (1-0) and in the game warta poznań vs. stal mielec there was a 1-1 draw

on matchday 17, the last before the long winter break, leaders raków (2-1 at zagłębie lubin) extended their lead over legia (0-0 vs. sląsk wrocław) to 9 points.
the surprise team is promoted widzew łódź, which occupies a strong third place after the first half of the season.
miedź legnica surprisingly won 3-0 away at górnik zabrze and is almost back in touch with the 15th place.

tonight is the catch-up match (from the 2nd matchday) and thus the last match in the ekstraklasa this year.

korona kielce could celebrate an important victory yesterday at the end of the 19th matchday. the club defeated cracovia at home with 2-1 and still has hopes for a non-relegation place.
