unfortunately, górnik zabrze was unable to take advantage of this matchday to close the gap on lech poznań. the new cup winner lost 0-2 at home vs zagłębie.
in any case, nothing has been decided yet regarding the new polish champion or the other two teams facing relegation...

yesterday, the two cup finalists played their postponed matches
jagiellonia celebrated a 2-0 away win at raków, while górnik zabrze could only manage a 0-0 draw at arka gdynia...
this means that lech poznań can clinch the polish league title this weekend if they can at least maintain their 4-point lead!

I'm really behind on the Ekstraklasa events, but I see Legia managed to bounce back from the bottom of the table and are now (almost) safe from the threat of relegation, sitting comfortably in the middle of the table, although technically they are still not 100% safe. So it's too soon for them to relax.
Lechia, due to the 5-point penalty deduction are now desperate for points to avoid dropping to the lower league. In the next game, both Lechia and Legia will face each other. It could be an interesting game. Legia will probably play defensively, due to the fact of playing away and to only needing one point to make sure they stay in Ekstraklasa for the next season.

I think Lech will likely celebrate this weekend. Even if they fail to beat Radomiak, there's a big chance GKS will stop the 2nd Jagiellonia.

pogoń szczecin won 1-0 away at zagłębie, and korona kielce won by the same score in their home game against widzew łódź
today, lech poznań could clinch the polish championship (with an away win at radomiak)...
