Ripple the next bitcoin?

As we all have seen ripple has been quite strong these past few days and with all that it has done over the past months compared to most other currencies and the launch of xrapid is actually starting to show in its price.
There is so much talk about ripple taking over bitcoin and being 10$ what are your thoughts on this?

It is impossible for Ripple to be the next bitcoin base on demand, supply, value and uses they are different and Ripple is very far in bitcoin. XRP is just good for sending transaction very fast and the fees is too low compared to bitcoin but it doesn't mean that it will like bitcoin or be the next bitcoin, I doubt it.

I'm not sure about that man, there's no next bitcoin, riple is a riple and bitcoin is still bitcoin. what will distinguish it is the selling value of the coin itself. I'm not sure there will be any coins that will replace bitcoin itself. in my opinion Bitcoin cannot be replaced by any coin.

I have seen similar statements many times, but I believe that Bitcoin will be alone and no cryptocurrency can become the second Bitcoin. The fact is that Bitcoin is the progenitor of cryptocurrencies and for a new Bitcoin to appear, it should only be a new direction. And so in the field of cryptocurrencies, Bitcoin is one and will be it until the end of its days. As for Ripple, I believe that each cryptocurrency has its own place and it was created for specific purposes. And therefore, Ripple or other cryptocurrencies cannot become the second BTC.

I don't think it is possible that Ripple can be the next bitcoin, bitcoin technology is old but until now it's still efficient. if you want to compare it might be like ETH / BNB. but whatever this is I don't think about the next bitcoin. I am confident that Bitcoin will always dominate this cryptoqurrency market.

Bitcoin is different platform from the centralize coin ripple set goal for itself for future. moreover, people might be agree that there are no altcoin that could suitable to compare with bitcoin. If you are trying to find out virtual currencies for an investment with good return, then ripple coin might be a bad choice and risky. Because it consistently falling down even its supply and unfair activities indicate & reveal the decreasing demand for it

No one is going to be next bitcoin because its father and founder of this all community and specially in case of Ripple is really not true because there are many things which are not near close to compare these two first of all Bitcoin is completely decetralized and XRP is Centralized and second Ripple is working only for Banking sector and bitcoin is compeletly different things and right now Bitcoin's share in crypto market is more then 60% and its very difficult to reach on this peack for any other coin so its never been good to compare these two for any competition this is not true and never going to happen.

It is very strange to make an analogy between bitcoin and ripple, because they are two completely different coins, and in my opinion ripple will never be able to resist bitcoin, because in my opinion they have not equal forces.

yes i think so because Ripple will only have a title as a good coin but cannot compared as bitcoin. Bitcoin has a huge market  cap 50-60% of whole market. In other hand ripple is a crypto which works for banking system.

No that's not going to happen in fact they should be worry because they are losing their position and they are sliding, there are new coins coming up with better concept and features, I will not be surprised if they are overtaken by UNI and Binance, and about your $10 dream, I don't think it will be in your lifetime.

Bitcoin has become the king of crypto currencies, nothing will be able to change that,
if you know the fundamentals of Bitcoin then you will understand how Bitcoin will change the world.
Ripple is not a decentralized project, and it is very risky if their CEO has no more ideas,
when compared to Ethereum, of course Ethereum is the best.

Ripple is just another altcoin, even many people consider ripple is not as a cryptocurrency because Ripple is completely centralized
If you expect that Ripple will take over bitcoin or become more valuable than Bitcoin, then you will be disappointed.

No doubt ETH is better than Ripple, you can already see the standing now and their disparity, even the times when Ripple was at the top over ETH, people still does not loss their faith of ETH and it has paid off as ETH were able to get back its position which is next to bitcoin.

I am very surprised by people who often claim that XRP will be able to replace or become the next bitcoin without any logical reason and corroborating facts, we can see how much now the price of XRP is compared to Bitcoin and public trust in XRP is even further away. not as big as people trust bitcoin as their investment asset, and we also often see if there is even the slightest negative trend, of course it will make the price of xrp go down, and it is difficult to experience price increases again, unlike bitcoin. Is it worth saying that XRP is the next bitcoin?

Of course not, due to several reasons. Mainly because Ripple was essentially built by a group of banks to facilitate internal transactions betwen them. This litterally means that Ripple xrp is a centralised cryptocurrency especially when to know that nodes running the xrp network are just few nodes controlled by those banks.

In my local board there is a hot discussion about it Ripple. Does there any upcoming event with xrp?

Who's talking? the bag holders the Ripple whales, or the development team, trying to hype their coin which is sliding in it's position, I will not be surprised if Ripple is nowhere to be found in the top 5, they are on the number 4 spot and will soon be overtaken by new coin Polkadot or Binance coin, that will end your dream of Ripple becoming the next Bitcoin in the market.

Do check Bitcoin dominance BTC 64.0% how will Ripple going to surpass Bitcoin with that stat.

XRP never next Bitcoin. But XRP is one of the best coins. Something good can be expected with XRP. Almost all the coins have gone well with investors but XRP has not pumped much. I think dec 2020 can do a good pump.

Yes, it is clear that Ripple will not be like Bitcoin because basically they have a different team in this matter and any Altcoin will not be easy to compete with Bitcoin which has already become king in cryptocurrency.

Nothing can replace bitcoin really, but we can say that ripple can replace ethereum if the XRP performances maintain better than ethereum. We can see significant growth  of ripple this days and maybe we can see more in few more weeks or months. I myself support XRP so it would be good if ripple goes to moon.
