Actually, we all knows that Crystal Palace is much weaker team from the Arsenal team and that's why most of the people we all pre-predict that Arsenal gonna won this match. I myself was optimistic beforehand that Arsenal would win this match although I didn't think Arsenal would score five goals to , I thought that Arsenal will win against Crystal Palace by 2-1. However with five goals in a match they will be able to hold a fairly solid place in the points table again and today's win will be useful especially in the competition with Liverpool and Man City. It's true that Crystal Palace's performance today was disappointing as they couldn't create positions anywhere from defense to attack.
Anyway does anyone want to watch the game between Nottingham Forest and Brentford? The game was getting very exciting as D. Is so good to see arsenal back to their winning ways, we hope they maintain the tempo because at this stage of the competition, inconsistency will cost them a lot. Arsenal really tried to mystified crystal palace, 5-0 is definitely a scoreline crystal palace won't forget in a long run. However I feel arsenal players understood the times and what's required from them, they controlled the entire midfield and where consistent with their attacks. the two goals they scored that first half also gave them some leverage to continue the dominance and score more goals during the second half.

A pretty good win but actually in this case I think this is not a guarantee of a good start even though in this match they are very good in terms of performance but that does not mean they are back on track just because of 1 win in this match but this is a very good step for Arsenal.

Currently, the situation is very favorable for Arsenal but they have to make a breakthrough even more because after all this is the first step in the middle of the season and the results of a big win in this match should not overawe them.

I wouldn't say that crystal palace was a disappointment as you said, because, there was never a time I was expecting them to beat Arsenal, you and I know that what would have been beyond shocking is if crystal palace had beaten Arsenal, or the match had ended in a draw, then we all will probably find Arsenal to be a very disappointing team, but here, the game ended just as most of us expected, though to be honest, i knew Arsenal would win, but not to the tone of scoring 5 goals, and no single goal from crystal palace, this takes me back to what I said in the other Premier league thread on this board that, it looks to me that crystal palace did not prepare themselves well to face Arsenal, because if they had, they should have atleast given Arsenal a very tough time, and Arsenal would not have scored up to five goals, even though they(Arsenal) would have still won at the end of the match.

Crystal Palace was inferior and this is definitely a bad reputation for them against Gunners. They failed to net a single goal to show their supporters that they didn't relent, instead they settled and watch Arsenal devoured them. The eagles boss, Roy Hodgson who we all thought is experienced was shocked to see his team been humiliated, he made a big mistake today at Emirate stadium, he selected inappropriate lineup and that cause his team to record heavy defeats against Arsenal. 5-0 victory observed and a pure embarrassment for the eagles who did their best but of no good.

Crystal Palace is a team that performs worse than Arsenal, so it is only natural that Arsenal can tear apart Crystal Palace's defense and score 5 goals without reply. It was clearly a big win for Arsenal, but Arsenal also struggled with maintaining consistency and that often cost them important points.

Crystal Palace has been a very confusing team in the EPL and whenever they get to play against Arsenal is like the Gunners will be looking like a team who are scared of playing like they used to. To me I can't blame the AFCON as the cause of Crystal Palace not doing well, the only thing that would have changed if all the Crystal Palace players were involved in that game would be the score line, because they would have made Arsenal to get 2 or 3 goals and they would have scored too. Crystal Palace has never been doing well since the beginning of this season and you think they're going to lose their next game.

After dropping points in three consecutive matches, Arsenal team got back on track. Arsenal lost their last two matches against weaker teams like Fulham and West Ham. Today they blasted Crystal Palace 5-0.

Arsenal players have been able to take full advantage of the home match. Arsenal dominated the match from the beginning of the match. Arsenal went 2-0 in the first half. You cannot blame them. Arsenal are very strong at home and they will not like to lose against Crystal Palace again since they dropped from the first position in the league table. They are trying their hardest to get back to the position because Arteta has made mistakes since the beginning and made Liverpool top the league because that is what happened to them last season and made Manchester City win the title. Confidence is the flying slogan for EPL elite team, they're not holding ground for poor results. Mikel Arteta knows how to fight, he doesn't relent in his actions because he's keen on getting the best performance and stats for Arsenal. Who's on the rader for Arsenal to sign this summer? I see nothing wrong the present Gunners because they've shown to become promising and at the same time, they're relenting in performance more especially in matches against mediocre teams that would have aides them to become tougher than their usual position.

I realise that, but nevertheless you can't win trophies with the same squad for many years, much less the EPL, which is getting tougher and tougher every season, so they need transfers, finding better players than they have now is a common thing. You're right, the strategy Arteta used today no one saw that coming and I got really happy seeing Arsenal dominating, today Arteta and his boys didn't just dominate but rather they scored more goals, I love the changes Arteta made and if you observed the match you will find out that the last changes made the team more strong and at that time everyone played with their effort, nice job from Martinelli and I'm hoping the gunners will defeat Nottm Forest.
Concerning the poor performance from Crystal Palace although they made a little effort but it was not even enough to fight back and Arsenal took advantage of their weakness, I believe this win today shows Arsenal are fully back .

I also had doubts about Arsenal's current condition, friend. But after they managed to get a 2 goal lead in the first half, I think my hesitation was a mistake.
