AFCON or not they haven't won against Arsenal for two good seasons now and nothing was going to change it now. I'm sure no one expected them to win .

Crystal Palace has been a very confusing team in the EPL and whenever they get to play against Arsenal is like the Gunners will be looking like a team who are scared of playing like they used to. To me I can't blame the AFCON as the cause of Crystal Palace not doing well, the only thing that would have changed if all the Crystal Palace players were involved in that game would be the score line, because they would have made Arsenal to get 2 or 3 goals and they would have scored too. Crystal Palace has never been doing well since the beginning of this season and you think they're going to lose their next game.

I do agree that it should be all the wins for them and doesn't look like there will be any problems at all. I am not saying that it will not be all that easy or tough or anything like that, but it doesn't really look like Palace would have any chance at all and Arsenal is far better normally. I believe that the best thing to do at this case would be making sure that Arteta is not making any troubles with the changes.

When a team does well there are very few changes to the squad and when a team starts to do not so well, you may want to start making some changes and that is a big risk. You should not be doing that, it's the same team that won so many games, just because they had a few bad games doesn't mean that you should start changing things.

The results of this match exceeded my expectations, who initially thought that the maximum for this match would only be 3 goals. however, Arsenal immediately stepped on the gas and scored the first goal in the 11th minute from Gabriel Magalhaes' header. the next goal was created by Leandro Trossard and two goals were created by Martinelli. Referring to match statistics, Arsenal had more possession of the ball with 61%. 21 total shots, 6 on target, 6 chances, 5 goals were created, although one goal was an own goal from the Crystal Palace goalkeeper. uniquely, Arsenal scored 3 goals through their counter-attacks. Arsenal is far superior starting from ball possession, technical and tactical.

All the same, let this win against Crystal Palace not get into their head that they'll start misbehaving in the next game. Crystal palace do not have much first team players on any the on going AFCON and ASIA international competitions, the only player on international duty is Jordan Ayew who is representing Ghana at the Afcons. The other sideline first eleven player is Michael Olise who is having a thigh injury. The other players were available just that Crystal palace has always been very poor against arsenal, they have registered just one win out of the 10 premier league games that they have the fellow London club.

Yeah, Arsenal wants to answer all our questions when their performance drops suddenly then we all wonder why? and today Arsenal have answered it winning by 5 goals is proof that Arsenal is ready to compete again and I hope they can be consistent so that we can see the competition in the standings getting tougher. with the addition of these 3 points, Arsenal has now taken over 3rd position while Aston Villa will soon be out of the top 4. This result is exactly what was expected of Arsenal as I wasn't expecting any less but they did beat my expectations tho because tho I expected a win but not with this much big margin which I consider a flawless victory, Arsenal isn't any match with crystal palace as they are much better than the crystal palace team.

I'm their performance in the game, Arsenal did performed much better than crystal palace and dominated a greater part of the game, crystal palace tried to see if they could minimize the number of goals they concede but they sadly couldn't as they in the first half conceded two goals and the other three in the second half.
