I don't understand how Manchester city ended the first half of the game without a goal and Chelsea was able to win the first half of the game and it was now looking to me like Manchester city is not playing their best enough and may want the event of the first lewg repeating itself again and if does happen it's not going to bwa good record for them.

In the second half of the game I'm hoping to see a better performance from Manchester city alongside goals to get ahead of Chelsea because I see Manchester city to have a better team than Chelsea and even in a better form in this game than Chelsea is , I'm very optimistic that Manchester city will get an equalizer andget ahead of Chelsea in this game I'm not expecting anything less than a victory from Manchester city in this game so they will further keep the chase behind Liverpool if they are hoping to win t eh trophy this season.

Look at chelsea's strategy. Pochettino was using the right strategy to face the big club. I do like chelsea to use low block strategy instead of playing openly against the big team. This is also giving chelsea the bigger chance to score through direct counter attack. Putting chelwell as right back was making city feel so difficult to break it.
The attack was always focused on doku. The main problem is doku's pattern can be predicted easily. His dribbling method was very monoton. It can be seen through seeing his foot. The match has been coming to the end of game. I think that chelsea played better.
Even if the result will be draw and i see chelsea as a winner. Chelsea needs to keep the game till it will end soon. Rodri has been helping the club to equalize the score. chelsea needs to make sure there will be no goal to happen for city.
Sending palmer out from the club has been decreasing ability owned by chelsea to do counter attack. This is the main problem for chelsea now. Club needs to make sure it will be able to build another wall again.

Kudos to Chelsea for putting in a superb performance against the defending champions of the league. They were able to defend their one goal till the 82nd minutes of the game after Rodri took a tremendous strike that went straight to hit one of Chelsea's defenders Dasisi into the back post of Chelsea's net.

I actually thought city will dominate during the second half but Chelsea had a lot of pressure today to withstand the force, during the second half Manchester city really dominated and surprising they could not score an extra goal, the time duration caused everything cause if they had an extra more time of which is impossible they would have score an extra goal, I really felt the impact city boys put into the match to secure 3 points cause they can't afford to lose the game now  but it was still not enough to win the game.
Arsenal at the other hand are back to the winning ways and seeing Arteta doing an excellent job as a young coach is amazing. Right now let's watch what will happen next and Arsenal right now can't afford to share any point or lose that's why they need to be careful, I don't know what's next for Liverpool cause they're also competing so hard. What an incredible match done by Chelsea. and the results of the match were very disappointing for Man City. Really, with Man City's performance, with their continuous attacks, and their dominance in this match, in fact they were not able to penetrate Chelsea's goal well. only 1 Man City goal, which Chelsea actually took the lead. This really doesn't make sense. Chelsea defenders were incredible able to stop all the onslaught of attacks from Man City players. Just imagine, 31 shots, this is a lot, but only 1 goal. Are Man City's forward players too bad or is Chelsea's defense truly incredible? I really can't believe this, even Chelsea played more effectively here. Indeed, Man City's opportunity to immediately take over Liverpool's position was lost because of the result of this match.
But yeah, you are right, this is not the end of the struggle. There may be still any chances again later that they must be more able to do their best. On the other hand, They have to fight again and hope that Liverpool will lose once.

Oluwa-btc I bet you didn't believe that Chelsea will come out with this kind of performance do you? I think City is not really at their best this season as they have failed to win Chelsea team that is unstable since the beginning of the season both home and away that's a good record to the blues to be honest. Tonight I think I agree with you Haaland and Doku wasn't good in the game as they failed to do what was expected from them it's a disappointment.

Same here the whole crowd was actually in support of Chelsea to win the game and I noticed Arsenal fans cause they were large in number shouting the blues as they fondly call the Chelsea team over here I think they did that because their position in the league was at stake since a win for City would have made Arsenal to be 3rd in the league and also place Liverpool's position in a tight place since City has a game in hand. Chelsea performance and result against Manchester City tonight is the least I expected of them and if I must be very honest, I think Chelsea have a future if the continue to stick with their current manager Mauricio Pochentino. Chelsea created more  clear chances than Manchester tonight but unfortunately, they failed to maximize their chances and that's why they left the Etihad stadium tonight without a win.

Since Kelvin De Bruyne returned from the injury that sidelined him for over four months, this was the first time Manchester City have failed to win a game and were few minutes away from losing before Rodri's goal helped them get a point from the game.

I don't think Chelsea problem was about the striker, they lack one but in this match, they didn't act like they lack one because midfielders were the ones that did the main job here, but truth to be told Manchester City were coming for them in every step they take. The only thing I was impressed about was that when Chelsea win their first goal, their defenders tight their position but we're tired in the last minutes again but the try to he honest.

I'm confused on how to describe Chelsea and Manchester City match. Tonight was a remarkable one again for Liverpool who won they game with a 4 goals to 1 and also seeing that Manchester city draw with Chelsea make Liverpool position more secured with the present accumulated points on the league table for this season, many times our fear for Liverpool is is how close Manchester City was to them and what man city is capable of doing since there are the defending Champion for the premier leagues.

But with the records from the clubs performance in this weekend, its now clear that Liverpool is on the verge of creating a new record this season, after they have suffered alot of set back in the previous seasons despite they efforts to meet up with such rating in the premier leagues.
