Arsenal have done it again,flogging Newcastle 4:1 in a game that I thought was going to be very tough.Arsenal dominated the game through out the match,but in the late hours of the match,Joe Willock was able to break the deadlock of not scoring at Emirates stadium for about a decade.The game ended 4:1 in favour of Arsenal,and I believe this one must be a boost of confidence to the Gunners whom suffered defeat in Champions league against FC Porto.The gunners now seat one point behind City and two points behind Liverpool,so the three horse title race is still very active.

I knew Newcastle United was an easy match for Arsenal to win because Newcastle United have been struggling recently to win their matches in the Premier League. With this 4-1 against Newcastle United, the point difference between Liverpool, Manchester City, and Arsenal remains the same, and the Premier League title race is still open for Manchester City or Arsenal to win if Liverpool fails to win it.

In my opinion, the heavy defeat that Newcastle experienced when facing Arsenal last night was a very natural thing, because Arsenal's performance was very good and still consistent in their matches. When compared to Newcastle's current condition, they are at their worst point this season and their game looks very inconsistent and it is very difficult to provide resistance against Arsenal. Plus, Arsenal is playing at home, this of course makes Arsenal's game more aggressive to continue attacking to win this match. The conditions in the Premier League this season are very tight so Liverpool, Man City, Arsenal must really maintain their performance and always play consistently in every match in order to win the next match.

Arsenal is on fire now five consecutive wins before Newcastle game really shows an incredible hunger and taste for success and I wasn't surprise when they thrashed Newcastle 4-1 making it 6 straight wins with 25 goals scored and conceded just 3 goals they lost a game so far in 2024 against Porto in UCL match, there is great desire by their players to win a trophy this season, meanwhile team is now third with just two ponies behind Liverpool and one point behind Man City with 12 matches, I think this would be one of the toughest contest for EPL trophy among the 3 clubs that means every remaining matches count now it's going be a must win match to  remain as a title contender.

Most teams can't avoid conceding a lot of goals from Arsenal, including the leader Liverpool. If they had played the current out of form City I think there is a good chance they would have ended their home streak. Arsenal's goal scoring percentage from set-pieces has gone through the roof in the last few weeks. They score at least one goal from set-pieces every game. And this makes it easy for them. It is admirable how quickly Arsenal recovered mentally and physically after losing to Porto in the CL with a last minute goal. Arsenal has a much less fragile and alternative squad this year compared to last year. "This year could be the year".

Amazing outcome for Klopp and Liverpool. So many injuries we had to play a bunch of kids but we still found a way to win. What a club, no other team with this many injuries wins that game today.

Van Dijk is back to his best, what a legend. This will give us massive momentum now going forward with more trophies to play for this season.

Chelsea still did not win, it was a tough one because both first half and second both of them were unable to score and Liverpool have eleven shots on target aside the off target. It was a lot of pressure coming from Liverpool i know they won't rest untill they win that is Liverpool for you. Even from the ball possession Chelsea was no were near that of Liverpool that way I was sure of Liverpool winning. And var canceled there first goal and since it was canceled I know Liverpool will not give up. V. van Dijk was the man of the match scoring the winning goal. And Liverpool is becoming more dangerous even in the Premier League.

Even with such a young squad, Chelsea couldn't take advantage of the injury crisis that hit Liverpool major players and kept them out of the the match. Mauricio Pochettino needs to be sack because there's no evidence of the coach's progress. They're reluctant in one's position, they're failing to make the big moves. I'm Chelsea fan and I'm sad because my team is finished. There's nothing good about the team this current season, you can't tell me they can handle Liverpool B team at wembley. This was one of the worst game for the Blues this season, they missed out good chances of goal opportunities but turning to Liverpool B team, they made everyone proud with their stellar performance against Blues.

Jurgen Klopp is an intellectual coach, I will keep saying it because he beats every Chelsea coach he meets, either in league or in grand finals. Jurgen Klopp can easily win Chelsea because he knows the weaknesses of the club, no relenting efforts but grab the important points, his player, Van Dijk was present where they needed him at appropriate time. Liverpool goalkeeper, Caoimhin Kelleher saved the day with his brilliant saves, he denied the Blues numerous chances of goal scoring, so he deserves his flowers. I'm highly dissapointed in the Blues, they should ensure they made rights for their wrongs.

Chelsea has constantly being a disappointment to fans this season irrespective of how minor the calibre of players they play against they  still make room for disappointment.

There are some matches that Chelsea were not supposed to lose this season, but to my greatest surprise, they lost some, and they played draw in some of those matches. Chelsea lost to some weak teams this season, which is kind of surprising. Some matches that Chelsea were supposed to use to accumulate more points, they wasted all those opportunities. That’s why they are currently stuck in the middle of the table. They are trying to climb up, but it’s just kind of difficult for them, and up till now, Chelsea is still inconsistent. They will perform well in some matches, and they will perform so poorly in some matches.

Just like other games before now  Chelsea missed a lot of goal chances and in football chances are what you use to convert goals to your side to win a game but that's one thing lacking among Chelsea attackers which is why they keep losing even games they should win.

That’s just the problem Chelsea are always having. Chelsea do perform well in most of their matches, but they lack the ability to score in most of them. They waste most of the opportunities they have. If Chelsea can get strikers with more experience and are desperate to score, I'm sure their performance will improve, but if Chelsea can’t get better strikers, then I'm not expecting any improvement from Chelsea.

Lose to Liverpool B team is surprising. Before the game, I swiftly check the line-up for both sides and I was happy Chelsea would pound Liverpool because the keymen were absent, unknown to me that there's no room for underestimating actions. I keep saying it, there's no special thing about Mauricio Pochettino, he's just the same as others. From today till tomorrow, I will keep saying it, Mauricio Pochettino is competent and can't not handle the club to be top level.

I'm ashamed to say this but Chelsea current performance is been  measurable to an mediocre team like Nottingham Forest. Meanwhile Jurgen Klopp success will keep thrilling over our heads because those top heads have refused to take the necessary decision. Perhaps sacking Mauricio Pochettino will not only sort out the problem of the club, rather there are other measures that ought to be reached. I've been watching Liverpool for years. I haven't seen them this bad for a long time. Goalkeeper Kelleher didn't give me any confidence. It's funny but the truth is that the best players in this match were Gravenberch and Bradley. When Klopp leaves this team, Liverpool will have a big collapse. I think that after Klopp, stars like Salah will also leave the team. They can finish this season as champions but after Klopp leaves we will see very different things.

It was a narrow escape for Liverpool who came against another stronger team Chelsea,  but then Liverpool is the king of the tournament and for sure managing to win with a 1 goals to none is good,  and for sure since the closest to them Manchester city also won with same goal amount of just 1:0 which will keep them away from the closing up on them on the table but with the current outcome of both clubs it gives Liverpool more time to keep the possibility window to go on with the current title winning based on points.

Their main issue is that they have poor finishing. They create excellent opportunities for themselves to score, thus they misuse the opportunity to score goals. If they could work on their finishing problem, they will win big and small matches comfortably.

Pochettino has advanced the performance of Chelsea team to be much better in recent times. Calling for his sack won't let Chelsea's hard luck stop them from losing big games.

Celebration goes to Liverpool today, it was not easy but they did it. After today's final, Liverpool will continue to beat Chelsea each time they meets. The cup win has handed Liverpool their first trophy of the season and I think will serve as a morale booster for their quest to win as many trophies as possible this season. It surprised me to see the first goal from van dijk was being annulled caused by it was offside but van dijk paid it at the extra time. Chelsea has no player who can protect the club from his heading. I meant that if van dijl was always able leaving from the guard to get free space to heading the ball.
This is also giving very bad impact to the chelsea. Glad to see liverpool was winning the game like what i have predicted before. Chelsea played defensively and this was making liverpool struggle to beat it. I thought that the game will continue to the penalty but van dijk becomes a hero for the club.
It was so bad to see chelsea loses in the final but the lcub was deserved it caused by there was no good defenders who was able fight one on one against van dijk. This must become the main correction for chelsea caused by the club must be also having someone who is proper enough in doing one on one in the air.

Things have been changed when poch was joining in the game. Having poch as a coach has changed the mentality of the club. The blues is now having totenham's mentality. Pochettino is not able improving the club but congratulation for totenham caused by it was winning against chelsea.

It was one of bad achievement from chelsea caused by liverpool played without so many good players. Liverpool were missing TAA, salah, nunez and many more. This club is performing so badly and i think that must become the most important thing to be evaluated by poch.
Chelsea has lost its winning mentality. it plays like a mediocre club. this is not a good squad. Chelsea has so many advantages over liverpool but it was not able maximizing any chances to win the game against this third tier team on the liverpool.. Chelsea is bottling the trophy once again.

The Blues handed the Carabao Cup to Liverpool for the second time and they just showed us that they (Chelsea) haven't learned anything in their first encounter 2 seasons ago, even though the guys who played Liverpool yesterday wasn't the same who did 2 seasons back it still ended the same way. Was hoping for the Blues to at least hang in to this title even if that's the only trophy they'll ever win in many years to come but Pochettino and his clowns couldn't keep it together.
The game was going pretty well for the Chelsea side not until Pochettino decided to kill the game by removing Sterling and Jackson, like what on earth is Pochettino thinking in the first place? As a coach that's playing against a team that half of the first team are all injured and you're keeping your best to do what? I was expecting every good player who knows how to run and give good crosses to be at the starting eleven for Chelsea, Nkunku should never had been on the bench. Bad luck is bad luck and this is something Pochettino had to live with, to me Chelsea can never be better until they pick out their problems and solve them bit by bit
Liverpool played like a wounded lion and at the end of it all they got their manager that trophy that he's going to depart the club with. Coming to the EPL title race, I don't see Liverpool finishing 2nd because of these injuries on the squad and it will cause them some games to stay on top of the log.

A big congratulations to Liverpool for winning the cup. Their performance was really impressive. Even with such a young squad, Chelsea couldn't take advantage of the injury crisis that hit Liverpool major players and kept them out of the the match. It's quite strange to see Jurgen Klopp only equipped with his young players while his main players have to be sidelined because so many are injured. I still don't believe that Jurgen Klopp can still beat the Chelsea that we know with his billion dollar squad and it is very strange that against the young players from the Reds they were not able to do it. This is another difficult job for Pochettino, even though he has been given the advantage of a Liverpool squad that has suffered a lot of injuries, but again he failed to maximize his advantage.

Maybe it could be said that Chelsea is even worse than any EPL team and I think the defeat in the EFL final against Liverpool really embarrassed them. There is no title for Chelsea this season with this billion dollar squad and in fact Liverpool will still complete another title which is still very open. Anyway, congratulations to Liverpool, Jurgen Klopp and all the Reds, this title will be one of the final series before Jurgen Klopp leaves Anfield.

Amazing outcome for Klopp and Liverpool. So many injuries we had to play a bunch of kids but we still found a way to win. What a club, no other team with this many injuries wins that game today.
Van Dijk is back to his best, what a legend. This will give us massive momentum now going forward with more trophies to play for this season.

Klopp has a first title in this season with Liverpool for his last season with them. They are going to fight in Premier League and Europa League and are doing well. I hope they will win at least one more title in this season as a celebration for Klopp and a happy goodbye after all best they have together over nearly 10 years.

Van Dijk has yet been back to his best if we consider his performances throughout this season but in a single match, he can have excellent performance like this final match.

According to the match, it still looks quite well and Liverpool even more dominated the match. They made 24 shots and won 54% of the ball possessions. It means, Liverpool still can perform with their best although they used many substituted players in the midfield and attacking line. But of course, the shot accuracy will be very different with the main players. So, no attacker could score a goal, Van Dijk who scored a single goal in the extra time to make Liverpool winning the EFL Cup. Again, Van Dijk showed to the people that he is a true hero in Liverpool squad.

Klopp does not only help Liverpool to win this cup but he has also set up a solid foundation for Liverpool in coming years. Some youth players were grown up by Klopp in the last three seasons and they will help the club to save a lot of transfer money and play important role in Liverpool squad in next some seasons.
