Well, whe your money is on it, themojntung pressure and the disappointment that follows doesn't mean much for an encouragement, you could almost count it that, hard luck is out to get them but, Manchester City is the sort of team that you can always rely on for a few minutes to stoppage time miracle in this type of game. Especially with them playing from a home side and they got a draw from there earlier game with Chelsea. Of course they understand what's at stake, a chance to creep more closer to the top of the league table and Pep wasn't going to let that slide by losing against Brentford. They were sure to keep having a go at them until they get there break. I ry thought they would have won straight from the first half.

That's a good point when we think about it like that. Tbh, I had high conviction for City before the game (I mean they won Brentford comfortably at Brentford's Gtech stadium just 2 weeks ago). So I expected a high scoring, comfortable game. But there was no goal until the 70th minute. Of course I'd feel nervy but City came through. It's the same conviction I've had for City in recent times like their game with Everton where they won 2-0.

Liverpool's hold of the top position looks shaky at the moment and the reason is the injuries you mentioned. They have less tournaments to compete so I guess that helps them too. I still think City has a better squad depth than LFC but we'll see how this goes. Maybe we'll see the gap to widen in the next ten games.

Why did you leave Arsenal out? Or you aren't convicted about their recent high flying performances? They did blast through Liverpool, dunked West ham hard and passed the same demolition to Burnley last weekend.

This goal was lucky for Manchester City because the Brentford defender was unable to guard Haaland properly due to slipping and in the end Haaland scored the goal very freely and only faced the Brentford goalkeeper.

But I also thought that maybe it was because De Bruyne was not in the game that is the reason they find it hard to achieve more goals, but never the less, the game was very tough and the game results came as expected, which I put as Manchester City to win, and they won, so the results came as expected.

City was fully dominating the game but brentford was able creating solid defensiveline against it, i give my credit to the brentford even though it was losing the game against city but it can still at least get 1 point. Even though city was winning the game with narrow score but win is still win. City is collecting full points from brentford and this is another good result for the club. It's caused by team is performnig even better compared tot he last season.

It was a tough game, but ManU managed to secure all three points. Hojlund is on fire, becoming the youngest player to score in six consecutive Premier League games. The young players at Man United are performing exceptionally well, indicating a bright future for the club. With four Premier League wins in a row, I'm hopeful they'll continue this impressive streak. However, they have a challenging schedule ahead, starting with a match against Fulham at home. At least in the last 2 match, Man City did not experiences a defeated that caused them to lose points, even though in their recent matches they did not seems to be optimal. But at least the defenders manage to maintain their defense so that the cloud team did not easily break through their defense, this narrow victory was not so bad the problems is that Brentford is actually not a strongs enough team for Man City and Pep Guardiola will immediately improved Man City attacking so that he can put a lot of pressure on the opposing teams.

That's the main problem when city was facing a club that played fully defensive agianst the club. Im seeing it as the main problem that is very hard to be countered by city itself.  City was playing openly while its opponent played fully defensive. This is also preventing city to explore all of possibilities during the game.
Im concerning about the performance from manchester city which has been dropping a lot. City needs to adapt to the situation, guardiola needs to force its club to perform better compared to the last season.
It's caused by the competition is just getting harder for city consider that liverpool and arsenal are also very strong right now.
