Manchester United have fallen out of the title race, but it is not too late to finish in the top four. Manchester United must rely on themselves in the remaining matches this season, they must maintain their performance to collect the full points up for grabs in each match. Their opportunity to get into the top four is very open, currently they are only three points behind Tottenham who are in fifth place and five points from Aston Villa who are in fourth place. Ten Hag, who has just found the best form of play for his team, will try to take advantage of the opportunities that are in front of him. It will not be difficult for Manchester United to overtake Tottenham and Aston Villa if they manage to achieve consecutive wins in the remaining matches this season.

No doubt title race is already ended for them long time, but now their recent performance is giving them chance for the fight hard to stay in hunt for the fourth spot even this is also not easy but still possible because Premier League is surely one of the most exciting and competitive league which can bring changes and also surprises few weeks back mostly were feeling Manchester United is having not fair chance for the fourth spot but now suddenly they change all momentum and put pressure on Aston Villa and Tottenham which are leading but also having no consistency which can bring surprise for them in coming weeks so from here now peoples are talking about them with can they do again or this time we are going to lose them for the top four.

I think that Guardiola takes every match seriously, the match with Chelsea was no exception, it’s just that Chelsea played partly well in defense and partly they were lucky, of the 31 shots that City made against Chelsea, only 5 were on target. Sometimes this happens when a team dominates but cannot capitalize on its advantage.
For the match with Brentford, Guardiola made minimal changes, the team will play practically with the main squad, only De Bruyne, who recently recovered from injury, will start this match on the bench. City must beat such an opponent and score at least two goals.

So far, the first 15 minutes of the game without goals and Brentford even tries to attack... But I think Man City can score 2-3 goals today... This win is very important for them and Brentford is just a convenient opponent, which regularly loses away matches... Although I have already written that I expect a goal from them...

A draw even will be a sin for Mancity, they havent lose at home in this season (league) and I dont see any reason why should Brentford will be able to beat them at home.
De Bruyne and Ake will be play in the 2nd half - rotations is a must, considering Mancity will be play every 3 or 4 days from now until mid March.

I have to say this will be an easy win for Manchester City and they will shift Arsenal in the 2nd position then wait for the right moment to shift Liverpool. If Manchester City won today then they are only one point adrift behind Liverpool this means that the opportunity is still there and if Manchester City lose today then they will end.

Manchester City found their last battle against Arsenal difficult because they think that Arsenal is like other clubs that they will only beat, and their current match against Brentford is now ongoing, which gives me hope that Brentford can produce positive outcomes. Because I know Manchester City can still make the same mistake they did against Arsenal in their last match, since although that their performance is not strong as it before, when they could beat any team, I expect Brentford to win the match and prevent them from moving up to second place.

Really if Man City have to drop points again because it will hurt them but I don't believe they will lose to Brentford because there is still a wide opportunity to win, here just waiting for Liverpool to stay at the top.

Sometimes the worst enemy of a good club could be complacency, they just realize how good they are and stop playing all that well and because of that they end up not getting wins all around.

Well I didn't expect a draw in the first half of play but it seems Brentford have also had their fair share of involvement and chances also in the game. The first half ended with a score of 0-0 which made the match even more interesting to watch in the second half. Manchester City in their previous match lost full points because they were held to a draw by Chelsea and in today's match Haaland et al must be able to secure victory because it is very important for them to remain in the circle of competition with Liverpool and Arsenal. In the first half Manchester City attacked Brentford quite strongly where they were able to fire 16 shots. But in the first half many opportunities were wasted because there was no chance that could be converted into a goal.

The second half has started and I think the journey in the second half will be even more interesting because Manchester city is playing at home in this match so it will be quite a loss for them if they fail to get full points. Manchester has been looking for ways to penetrate Brentford but it is just not working out for them because Brentford is paling a defensive game against Manchester City and I was shocked by the kind of shot foden and akanji are landing on the goal post of Brentford isn't fear any club you are supposed to be scared of manchester city I don't want them to win so that it will be an added advantage to us arsenal fans and am already having a feeling that this game will end draw because Brentford is doing very well in defending and manchester city wants to win by all means, and this second half Brentford is already leaving there house and they also want to school.  and that is what we and Liverpool have been praying for the same thing because the moment they get to that first position it will be a problem for everybody, so we can only hope on brentford not allowing them to win this evening.  and brentford are attacking from the left wing and they might get lucky.
