Manchester United started really well and the early goal has given them some confidence in the game. Foden has scored equalized the goal with an early goal on the 58th minutes to balance the score line. It was a marvelous finish from Foden, as he took a powerful shot to the left side of the post. City will be able to win this match, because United will not be able to withstand their pressure.

Rashford is the worst player so far in this second half, even though he was the one that opened the score line. He should be substituted, because it was his laxity that lead to the equalizer. Rashford keeps falling down on the pitch even when he is not being fouled. The fact remains that City is far better than United in this match and in their overall performance in the league.

In general, another nightmare match for United, which started not so bad and it seemed that there was a chance for a draw, but Foden's double put everything in its place and it is clear why City is in second place in the standings, and United is only sixth and I think even Chelsea is playing better than United.
To be honest, it's amazing how Manchester United are playing, they seem to be afraid of City and play like a team that is in last place in the standings, players are afraid to take the initiative, players on the sideline can't get the ball to the center, everyone is playing in defense and no one wants to go on the attack.

In the second half we only saw the dominance of Luton Town players. The team played defensive strategy in the second half. That was Aston Villa's big mistake. However, Aston Villa won thanks to Lucas Digne's goal in the 89th minute. Aston Villa's coach should learn from the mistakes of today's match.

If Luton goalkeeper Thomas Kaminski does not play excellently, Aston Villa may have ended up with more wins, as he made many excellent saves, including a flying save from Morgan Rogers' perfect curler. The lucky thing probably came from the two substitute players, Moussa Diaby and Lucas Digne, who only spent 10 minutes on the field to bring home the score-setting goal for Aston Villa. Nunes saved Liverpool right at the bell, I am sure that City would have taken the leadership in that situation. I think Klopp is trying something before he leaves, and he is aware that leaving with another premier league title would be so awesome for him. Think about it, leaving at the top when you are crowned the champion would be so epic for him, whenever he wants to come back, I am sure any team would accept him. Not that he will come back to premier league, he started that he won't do that but it is still a great achievement.

I can see that they may actually do it, they are doing very well and I am guessing there aren't that many teams that they can't beat, so if they do well, they may get the win for sure.

Even when Manchester United scored their first goal and held on to win the first half. I never believed that they were going to win the game. I know pep will make the necessary changes to balance the game and win. United are a team I don't understand their pattern of play and today really showed that the team is finished. ETH cannot revive Manchester United judging by his performance so far, I think it's time Manchester United show him the exit door.

I think City win today went as most bettors predicted, and United are on another two-game losing streak. As far as I'm concerned, Manchester United is no longer a top English Premier League club again and considering their second half performance in their league game against Manchester City this evening, I don't think there's anyone who'll disagree with my opinion about the red devils. After Marcus Rashford scored in the 8th minute of the game, I was of the opinion that Manchester United are going to get something out of the match but like did I know that they were going to be absolutely awful in the second of such a crucial game. I don't know what Erik ten Hag told his boys at halftime but I'm sure that it's either he failed to give them the best tactical advice going into the second half of the game or the club players simply failed to do what they were told at halftime.

Manchester City dominated the second half and played more like a team who really needed all three points from the game but how Manchester United allowed Pep Guardiola's City to press them like an average team was totally embarrassing for a big traditional club like United. Before today's game, I was of the opinion that Manchester United were finally on the right track to finish the season in the top four but after today's results, I  now think their best finish in the league this season will be finishing in the sixth position of the English Premier League table.

With the win today, Manchester City have reduced their points difference behind league leaders Liverpool to just one point and have increased their chances of overtaking the Reds in the English Premier League table later on this season. Arsenal who are also very much in contention to win the English Premier League table this season must win their game tomorrow to still remain in the race.

I am not surprised by the result of the match, even after Manchester United scored their goal in the first half of the match, I was not really moved because I knew Manchester City would end up winning the match. Manchester City will do everything to win matches like this, they are desperate to win the Premier League this season, and if they can lose any match, their chances of winning the league will drop dramatically, so they won’t want that to happen. And also, with the current Manchester United squad, I know they can’t compete with Manchester City.

Foden's first goal was just nice, I never expected him to play the ball from that angle. Foden played well in the match, he was able to score two goals for Manchester City today, which is really nice because Manchester City really needed the two goals that he scored in the match.

Very disappointing performance from Manchester United, i also thought they could win the match because i missed the first 20 minutes and after seeing Manchester United take an early lead i thought they were playing well and rushed out to watch the match and i was disappointed with the way they were playing, they lacked confidence with the ball and lost almost every ball at their feet. From seeing their performance i just knew they couldn’t win the game anymore, if Manchester City sees too much of the ball they will keep pressing and pressing until they get  the goal and that was what happened in the second half.

Excellent first goal from Foden, he gave the keeper no chance. Foden was excellent in the match, he scored two goals again and he is like a nightmare for United’s defenders. Haaland was also able to increase his goal tally as he scored the last goal from a defensive error. It was a brilliant overall performance from Manchester City they played well and deserved to win.

Wait a minute, do you expects Manchester United to gain ground and go further to win Manchester City at Etihad stadium? It's impossible because there's presence of vital rivalry in the Manchester derby. Pep Guardiola knows specifically how to handle Erik Ten Hag and his entire squad. Manchester City comes for the winning and domination. They didn't relent but bring on every capable strength to pressure the Red Devils. Manchester United open the scoring but couldn't seal the winning in the second half. The second half is mainly for Manchester City and they did everything to bring home the winning.

Great win for City and it was very well deserved, they controlled the game from start to finish and limited Manchester United to just 1 shot on target and 9 touches in the opposition box, that tells you how dominant city was. The three points moves City to within 1 point of Liverpool and perfectly sets up next weekend's game against Liverpool at Anfield, that game is so important for both teams and could be crucial in the title race.

Having said that, i don't think that match is going to be the title decider even though the points in it are so precious, but there are so many more games to be player. A draw might be a good result for the two teams, but much better for Liverpool, whilst if we get a winner, i don't necessarily think the loser is out of the title race, it just makes things more difficult for them.

Manchester United performance after the first goal of the game was very poor they would have done better than that, the tactics they apply by defending and counter attack, the attacking performance was too poor atleast dey tried defensively at first half and little bit at second half but just can contain a well attacking Man city side. They allowed Man city in control of the game too much, Well what a nice display from Man city they did well to defeat their neighbours both in Manchester United home and their home, Phil foden was really a problem to Manchester United through out the game, his performance today was outstanding all throughout the game. The race for the title 23/24 season is a three horse race both Man city and Arsenal are mounting pressure on league leaders Liverpool is going to be interesting as all teams keep mounting pressure on each other.

In the first half, Ten Hag seemed to really pile up all the Man United players in defense. The players also managed to reduce Man City's shooting space very well. It is evident from the first half statistics, Man City managed to take a total of 18 shots, but Man United managed to block 8 and Onana also performed well in the first half. And Man United's goal in the first half was also very good from Onana's cross and then Bruno's neat touch and Rashford managed to get his rocket shot, it all happened in exactly one moment.

However, entering the second half, Erik Tag Hag seemed to have difficulty controlling Man City's attacks, especially when a player like Alvarez came in, then Ten Hag added Antony, then Man United's game was destroyed. Man United's weakness was also seen in Man City's second goal where the Man United players were not ready to face the Man United players' fast attacks. Man City's second goal could be said to be an epic goal resulting from good teamwork where Kevin De Bruyne and Foden both managed to find empty space.

The conclusion from this Derby is that Man City is indeed very strong compared to Man United. Pep Guardiola always has the right strategy so that Man City can make opponents try to defend strongly, but in the end they concede. Man City's next match is against Liverpool, of course this match will really determine the fight for the EPL title.

Who do Manchester united thought they were playing against when I saw United scoring just 8 minutes of the game i was just smiling because i knew that this people did not know what they are getting there self into. When we equipped i saw that the mood of Manchester United players and there fans have changed. Because they know that if we start scoring we won't stop untill we are satisfied and that is what happened. Foden and rodri did a good job today the way Manchester City was playing United i was tapping some Manchester united fans to see how we play football. Onana will continue to be a very bad goal keeper. United thought Rashford can stop us. And the stats were crazy because we went hard on them during the second half. Let me not be to hard on Manchester United fans the game ended 3:1 what a margin. I knew we can not lose that game, Manchester United is not qualify to beat us.
