Chelsea did not need that last goal to win the game and in spite of the penalty being missed, the game was already won and the Everton players did not have any more strength left in them to win the game. The penalty would had been given to another player that is struggling to lift his confidence, Jackson should have played it.

Yeah you are right I was also thinking the same thing because he had already scored some goals so letting others play the penalty would also improve their goal count however reasoning it in another perspective I think his plan was to boost his goal count because already has been scoring almost all their matches so he most have gone far on his goal count, however I love the unity Chelsea has because if it was some other club they would have been dragging penalty but since Chelsea knew that allowing him to play the penalty will be of a beneficial to him they had to allow him to play.

Chelsea is very lucky to have Cole Palmer on their team if not who knows were they could have been now because Cole Palmer have saved Chelsea on several matches, although I'm not saying that Chelsea would not have win any match if not for Cole Palmer but the truth is that majority of the matches won by Chelsea was as a result of Cole Palmer efforts so he remains one of the pillar that hold Chelsea.

Yes, I also don't understand why Arsenal and Liverpool can lose against teams ranked lower than them in the Premier League. Even though this match is very important for Arsenal and Liverpool. Perhaps they might be good to trash the likes Arsenal, Tottenham but definitely Manchester City is our of their league this time around, when it was even Cole Palmer that has been making goals for them. Everton might be an average team but, they don’t often make an easy to beat team. Chelsea might have got the best of them yesterday but, that’s as far as it gets and I don’t think it makes Chelsea probable enough to match Manchester City’s quality. Let’s not soon forget how inconsistent Chelsea have been, winning a game and they going about to loss or draw several others. Also, playing the FA cup presents a different kind of challenge which I don’t think Chelsea is well equipped for except, they would be hoping on fatigue to get the better of Manchester.
I hope to see Chelsea being more attacking in that fixture else, Manchester City would run them down the hill.

In Manchester United trying times and difficulties in winning matches, Bruno Fernandes always stands out amongst all of his other teammates. He plays a better football than them and always have a way of making the team do better even in their worst state. The game against Wolves is more tricky than Tottenham’s game as Wolves have always been a bon of contention for Manchester City to defeat.

Interestingly, both Arsenal and Liverpool have lost their home matches. And no one expected the result that these two teams would lose at home.

Arsenal conceded a 2-0 defeat against Aston Villa. Arsenal players could not score a single goal despite their best efforts. On the other hand, Liverpool lost against a weak team like Crystal Palace. I can't remember the last time I saw a win from Crystal Palace team before.

Manchester City have managed to occupy the top spot in the table after a long time. Now if they can maintain the winning streak, the title win is sure for City. However, it will be very difficult to win the next 6 matches.

That was indeed interesting to say the least. Knowing what is on the line, I think it was quite shocking to see these two teams lose their games in their own stadium. I thought that if they get into some trouble in any of the remaining games, it is most likely away from home. The matchday couldn't have gone any better for Manchester City as they were also able to improve their goal difference by a lot, which essentially gives them +1 point in the end if they finish the season with the best goal difference. Arsenal is still a bit better, but I wouldn't be surprised to see them crashing like they did last season.

The win for Aston Villa was huge of course as Tottenham was hoping for Villa to lose that game big time while they have a game in hand and are 3 points behind the qualification for the Champions League. Lots of plans were crossed here.

Changing managers is an option, but building a squad with better depth is a must. Ten Hag gave too much control to Bruno Fernandes in all the matches he played, but the results were not at all commensurate with what was expected. Bruno Fernandes sometimes plays well, but I think he is also always selfish and forces himself to score goals instead of providing assists to his teammates.

Erik Ten Hag have messed up the entire team simply because he failed to acknowledge the essential players that will deliver the work for the progress of the team. Checking the current look of things, the Red Devils will not reach peak based on their inconsistency in winning games. Manchester United are not in good shape this season, they're relenting when it comes to mediocre opponents in EPL games. For Bruno Fernandes, he's the most respected player and have received accolades for his outstanding qualities.

The way things are going with Manchester united in this season, I don't think they will allow Erik Ten Hag to continue to coach Manchester united next season, because some of the players and goalkeeper he signed into Manchester united during the summer no signs of improvement yet, because it has be long Manchester united win this premier league title which they need to bring in some players that will make it happen next season. I know that Manchester united president will not take this poor performance from Erik Ten Hag, if the situation continues like this till the end of the tournament because there was a huge amount of money budgeted to sign in potential players but the results people are seeing right now is not a good results, and it will not make Manchester united to reach top fourth in this season. I'm not a fans of Manchester united, but for Manchester united to start getting it right, they should sign in a talented goalkeeper and strikers who can save Manchester united from all those disgrace in some matches.

I know, developing a team sometimes need longer time, but Chelsea current condition is different if compared to the Abramovic era. Abramovic has enough financial power to buy players and develop team in a short time. Meanwhile, the current management seems more capable of entrusting all the players' needs to the coach. If Pochettino succeeds in bringing Chelsea back to their best performance next season, maybe we are right that Chelsea focus is on developing the team. However, if management moving for a title, I think, Chelsea should recruit a new coach if Chelsea not able to compete at least for UCL qualification zone once again.

It is true that it is not easy for a coach to develop the performance of his players in a short time. Every coach definitely needs time to adapt to the club in building overall performance, currently Pochettino is trying to provide a better performance than the previous coach and hopefully Pochettino can passed it so that Chelsea was not among the mediocre clubs. Under the guidance of the previous Chelsea owner Chelsea was the best and strongest club in the Premier League and was able to win many league trophies but after changing ownership Chelsea immediately changed drastically and experienced a significant decline in the last 2 seasons since Chelsea bought by new owner.

In my opinion, even during Todd Boehly's era, Chelsea was not financially constrained, in fact he spent a lot of money to recruit new players and even spent almost 1 billion pounds to bring in many of the players that Chelsea needed. But unfortunately Chelsea began to find its weak points, either because of the coach's mistakes or because of mistakes in recruiting. The new players actually don't have good performance in competing in the Premier League because many Chelsea players are young and there are only a few senior players, even though the young players have good stamina, motivation from the old players is also really needed to increase the players' insight into the game mastering the experience as a Chelsea player.
