I don't know if it works like this. I know that most people here think that less competitions means more focus of the players on single competitions. But do you really think that top professionals can focus better on the Premier League when they just got eliminated from the Champions League or the Europe League? I never understood this argument as I think players would probably lose steam, focus, energy. They might be slightly depressed after a huge defeat. As if their focus in three competitions shares like 33% times 3 and then when they get knocked out somewhere, there is more focus elsewhere. No, this is not how it works. The season hasn’t ended yet, but it’s going to be really difficult for any club to drop Manchester City from first position.

Beyond doubt Manchester City is still in the best position to win the Premier League. At this stage of the season a small advantage over the other teams already means a lot. It doesn't mean it is over yet, but everyone is aware that Manchester City is able to win all of their remaining games and then it would be game over. It's not 15 games anymore, it's 6 games and Manchester City is in the lead with only one very hard game against Tottenham Hotspurs. I don't see much potential for Manchester City to stumble in the other games, but against Tottenham there is a window opportunity for Arsenal and Liverpool perhaps.

To be honest I blame the both teams, because if not because of their poor performance against small teams like Crystal Palace and Aston Villa the both of them will be leading Manchester City in the league now, and as Manchester City have get the position now, let just say it’s over for Liverpool and arsenal because Manchester City will definitely win this season title.

Even though Manchester City performed poorly at the start, in my opinion it is because they are optimistic and perhaps because of luck that they are now able to take the lead. Even though previously they had lost a player who could be said to be Manchester City's star, luck was on their side, with Liverpool and Arsenal giving Manchester City the opportunity to get ahead of them and take the lead even though the points were not much different.

I think Manchester City will not give up the championship from now on. Arsenal have a slight chance but the other team has no chance. Pep knows how to win games, he has managed to pick up the team when they were behind in the past and created a dynasty that has won many championships. He wants to crown this with another cup. Their elimination from the CL was an unexpected result, now the Premier League has become more important for them. If they continued in CL, that's where their minds would be. They don't have such a problem now. They will take the remaining matches one by one and win them and not give up the leadership.

Yeah is actually annoying or rather sad that all the English clubs has been kicked out from the champions League, however Manchester City would have actually qualify to the champions League finals if they had been on the group with PSG and Borussia Dortmund because the minute I saw that they would be meeting Real Madrid I know that it will not be easy on them because their matches with real Madrid are always like that.

However one thing I like about their situation right now is that they have been able to secure two points above Liverpool and Arsenal on this premier League so their is still hope for them to end the season with joy but only if they remain consistent on their wining, perhaps that's the reason why I mention that Pep Guardiola needs to step up their game because they need to win all their remaining matches to have enough points that would qualify them of wining the premier League.

I think the race for the league winner affected the performance of Arsenal and Liverpool because from the way the played in the first leg one can actually see that they were becoming tired and are more focused on the English Premier League but Manchester City still appears to be more superior than them and they fought a good fight against Real Madrid despite losing in the penalty shootout. Looking at the current position of the three teams which h are title contenders and the matches left in the league before the end of the season, I think Manchester City still has upper hand to win the league despite their upcoming FA cup match against Chelsea and I don't think it will make them to lose focus on the league because winning the league will be their most focus right now after their defeat in the champions league so Whether Arsenal or Liverpool have only the premier league matches to play only I don't think it has any to do with the league winning of City since they have climbed the top of the table.

Salah have contributed for Liverpool in many of their achievement since he left Roma to Liverpool in July 2017, I believe he's one of the greatest player for Liverpool. If Salah leaves Anfield can they continue without him or would he be missed, because from all indications this is the last season we've to see him wear the Liverpool jersey, would his absence affect the Liverpool side?

Of course Mo Salah contribution is really needed by Liverpool because he is one of the players who scored the most goals for Liverpool even in the last few seasons, if the question is if he moves or retires will it impact to Liverpool performance? Yes, but that's not the end of everything Liverpool can look for new talent I'm sure there are many players who can replace his position and regeneration always occurs in every team.

Currently Liverpool is waiting for a miracle to take over the top of the standings they couldn't determine their steps because Manchester City holds the key, even though Liverpool won all the games it doesn't mean anything if Manchester City did the same therefore, Liverpool must wait for Manchester City defeat in the next match. In this situation only a miracle can help Liverpool.

If Salah should be moving out from Liverpool should be the question but if you say retire at Liverpool I don't see that happening any time soon, leaving the side will some how affect the team because they have gotten used to the fact that he is the key player which he is and he must be involved in everything that goes on in the team and I don't see that as encouraging if you ask me because it will affect the team negatively when he leaves, they should start learning how to play without him and to get used to it.
At this moment Liverpool have a lot on their plate, winning the treble was on their mind but since the whole treble thing has been scattered to pieces, I feel they only have to think of getting to the top which is a very big task.
Manchester City are going to enjoy this moment they're having on top of the table and they won't dash out that opportunity to either Liverpool or Arsenal, if the Citizens play against Chelsea in the FA Cup is going to give them a game at hand which is a very large advantage in winning the EPL this campaign.

But things can change sir, maybe Manchester City will not have the same experience last season, can play consistently and always win games like a hero who comes at the last moment.

Manchester city seem to have been able to crack the premier league winning form as they have their way around the premier league and for three consecutive seasons they have been able to do the same thing with the premier league such that it appears like they have gotten a hack to the premier league and are not at any point even afraid of the premier league as all their focus was mainly on the champions league earlier because they know their way around the premier league.

They know that they just needed to stay around the top of the table to be able to meet up the winning of the league even if at any point they Amy be appearing like they are behind but towards the end of the season they know how to meet up and because they are within the top three it mostly doesn't get difficult for them because they then get to be around the top of the table so a few winning streak can always get them back to the top and thst has been what had happened exactly to them and now they are at the top of the table and if they win their next game they will be staying there comfortably.

Even if Arsenal had not lost to Aston Villa, I doubt they'll be able to win all their remaining fixtures. They still have a lot tough matches to play. They will play Tottenham, Manchester United and Chelsea. These are not easy matches even if they're in a good form, any one of these teams can snatch points from them. Now that they've already lost, I doubt it they'll still have the zeal to give their 100% into winning the league. If you look at the remaining fixtures of Manchester City, Arsenal and Liverpool, you'll see that Arsenal have the toughest fixtures followed by Liverpool. The only tough game Man City have left is against Tottenham. I believe both Arsenal and Liverpool will still drop points.

People who took City to win when the odd rose to above 2 odds are the luckiest. Now the odd is not worth it. If I stake with $100 on 1.40 that's about $140. $40 is not reward enough for that kind of risk so I'll simply leave it alone.
