Man City were very active in attacking, especially Doku who was very dominant in penetrating the opponent's defense area which made Liverpool players have to work hard to prevent conceding. In my opinion, the midfielders were less active in building attacks, resulting in them only being able to pass from foot to foot, while Liverpool chose to play long passes to prevent Man City from maintaining their game rhythm.
Man City defense area is still very weak, Guardiola needs to pay attention to this position so that he can continue to maintain his position to qualify for the UCL next season.

I have no doubts about Liverpool's performance and strength in the next 12 games although Liverpool must be more consistent until the end even though they have made a considerable gap on their rivals especially with Arsenal still in second place in the standings at the moment. An 11 point gap is a tough one for Arsenal to catch up with who have sometimes been inconsistent in winning important games this season and that was already the case when Arsenal were beaten at home by West Ham last weekend.

Man City must maximize the opportunity to continue to secure the top 4 position in the standings. If not, they must forget about avenging their defeat in the Champions League.
Given the current standings, the competition for 4th or 3rd position will be quite tight considering several teams have a small point difference. Nottingham is not impossible to be shifted by Man City from their current position. The difference is only 3 points and Nottingham's performance has also not been good in several matches. Arsenal have a lower percentage of points per game, that's obvious, so the longer the distance the more the gap between Liverpool and Arsenal increases, that's logical. Every team loses points sometimes, but Liverpool loses the least.
I don't know why you expected a good result from City, the team looks completely destroyed and Pep hasn't been able to do anything for about 30 games. I doubt he's even capable of doing anything without spending another 2 billion.

Even before now the brilliant attack and forward possessed by City has always been a shield for the defense making them appear really effective because they usually make up for their lapses by scoring multiple goals which gets them to to concede little to almost  no goals at some point but since their attack and forwards began to suffer some set backs they have literally made it obvious how weak the defence can be and that has been seen in their recent games.

A lot of things are wrong with Manchester City’s game, they have not being at their best form and of course they need to sign a few more players to improve their game if not they won’t be able to compete at all and they might not even make top 4 next season with this same squad. They have lost 4 games in their last 6 matches including this game against Liverpool so they really to step up fast, if not for Chelsea’s inconsistency Manchester City would be no where near fourth place but i believe they might not maintain it for long if they keep playing this way. This might be the end of Guardiola’s reign at City and the best thing would be to resign and change club.

Liverpool have been in top form since the start of the season and they were the favorites to win this match, it looks like their season so everything is going smoothly for them and they might even win the trophy this season. I just hope Liverpool can give same performance next season even if they lose players.

It doesn't seem like City are performing badly  because of the age of Manchester City's players. We saw great performances from this squad last season too. Suddenly  their poor performance this season is not due to the players in their squad. I would  say guardiola has a problem with his match strategy this season . Also  City's players have lost confidence. This is why the team is not able to do well against big teams. Also, selling Alvarez was one of the worst decisions by manchester city management. Alvarez scored in several important matches last season and brought City victories. If Alvarez was in the squad, City's squad would have been much stronger.

Sorry guys and to all Arsenal fans out there which I am also part of, but this I think will be the very first time I did be so angry enough to refer to Arsenal as a very useful football club, I've been trying as much as possible not to comment on their game against Westham last week Saturday (2 days ago) but seems I really have to let off this thoughts off my chest.

Arsenal's inconsistency have become so very annoying to me and I am beginning to dislike them, this club have some how mastered the art you disappointing you just at that particular time you are cheering for them and looking up to them for a win, seems I really have to change club.
I was really looking forward to Arsenal making good use of the many matches Liverpool have failed to earn full 3 points to their (Arsenal) advantage, but seems to me that even the Liverpool are far off better, Arsenal no longer deserve the league title this season, I will support liverpool to win the title.

For their next fixture, I think Arsenal might have a slight advantage over Nottingham Forest given to their superior team squad and quality of players.

Both teams last week gets unfavourable results because as we all know Arsenal lost over West Ham and Nottingham Forest dramatially lost from Newcastle and i think we cannot be underestimate Nottingham Forest anymore it because during this season they have been displayed impressive performance Nottingham Forest current position even at 3rd place and they have 3 points above to Manchester City but Arsenal is required more points to pursuing Liverpool so this is interesting match

This is home match for Nottingham Forest which i am sure they will utilize this match to gets full points and Nottingham Forest recent record at home is very impressive because they can able to beat Brighton with huge scores so Arsenal should beware of this record because Nottingham Forest this season has been very strong at their home and Arsenal has a problem with their front lines because Arteta have not much option to playing the players from this position so this is a big challenge for Arteta to solved this condition and bring 3 points from this match

Since it took some time for Kloop to adapt to Liverpool and bring it back to its glory days so it thought too that Slot will take some few years to get it right.
