I am not surprised at all by Manchester City's performance. I had bet on Liverpool to win. I think I am going to win the bet. At the end of the first half, Liverpool team managed to take a 2-0 lead. The first goal was scored by Salah and the second goal was scored by Dominik Szoboszlai.

We saw Manchester City's dominance. 69%. In addition to ball possession, Manchester City players also attacked a lot. Manchester City had 8 shots but could not score a single goal. On the other hand, Liverpool players scored two goals with only 3 shots. Liverpool kept their defense strong and still tried to score goals.

I don't think City are even close to dominating here, these stats don't reflect what's happening on the pitch, I think expected goals would be more accurate but really it's enough to just look at the score.
Guardiola will probably suffer another defeat today, I saw his last interview, he is finished as a coach, he lives in the past, boasts of past achievements.

I am very annoyed by the performance of Manchester City players today. This is Manchester City's home match. And now Manchester City is behind by 3-0. We definitely do not expect such a terrible performance from a big team like City in a home match.

Guardiola is an experienced coach. I do not know why Guardiola is using attacking tactics today. City's top scorer Haaland is not in the squad. Manchester City should have played defensively and secured 1 point from the match. But City is playing attacking tactics, as a result Liverpool created opportunities to score from counterattacks.

It is very unreasonable to expect Pep Guardiola to use a defensive strategy in this match when he is aware that his team is very bad at defending. Manchester City lost some of their best players in defense, while the existing squad was not always able to play well. Only the attacking strategy gives them a better chance of winning points, while the defensive strategy is worse in my opinion.

Liverpool actually played with a defensive strategy and this can be seen from how they defended when Manchester City players built attacks. Liverpool have been really good so far in defense and I don't see Manchester City having a big chance of scoring if Liverpool's defensive concentration doesn't waver. Liverpool is almost certain to win this match, but Manchester City is still trying to find goals at home. The temporary score is still 0-2, not 0-3.

It feels like they got a psychological set back after they lost to Madrid in the Champions League and now coming to face Liverpool in the premier league,  a team that actually doesn't have any mercy on them for they want to win the trophy this season,  and ofcourse Arsenal's loss in the last game will keep them far behind Liverpool after  this game so anyways for Liverpool they are still very much ahead nad that's what matters.

I think it's time to Manchester City to find the replacement of De Bruyne because i have watching he was unable reach to his top performance again and during the match De Bruyne only run and rare to touching the ball he even several times has wrong pass which caused Manchester City gameplay didn't work and his fitness condition also looks bad because De Bruyne seems fatigue

Liverpool topping the league with 11 points is because they have played 27 matches alongside Aston Villa while the rest of the teams has only played 26 games and despite the inconsistency of Arsenal, they still have the possibility of making the gap 8 again and that is if they win their next match but as for the title race, Arsenal cannot see the back of Liverpool because the pressure of Liverpool is high and it is becoming so visible they have the foresight to emerge the title winners this season. Look how they just easily won Manchester City by a 2:0 clean sheet not even allowing them to score any goal. On the other hand, Manchester City also played a good football and even got more ball possession but Liverpool was getting the goals. Whenever am watching Liverpool games i always feel entertained because that club has this dogged mentality of always pushing harder even in complex situations.

Playing as the host, I initially thought Manchester City would be one of the teams that could stop Liverpool from getting points in this match. But in reality after the match took place, even though Pep Guardiola's team dominated the match, and they tried a lot of shots, they still couldn't stop Liverpool from strengthening their position at the top of the standings. Even in this match, Man City was unable to score a single goal against Liverpool.

And with this defeat, Man City's position in 4th place in the standings is really threatened, because in another match Newcastle had just beaten Nottingham Forest with a score of 4-3, so now Newcastle's points are the same as Man City's, which is 44 points. And if Man City doesn't get back on the winning track soon, then there is a possibility that their position will be shifted by Newcastle.

Of course no matter how strong Liverpool are they most surely lose matches. But just like as you have said I think their dropping points can not stop them from lifting the premier league title this season because Arsenal performance is not impressive at all they are just struggling. So however, I think is quite sating that Arsenal would likely drop more before the end of the season.

Am starting to think if it's actually time for the management to do something about Manchester city performance because at the moment nothing seems to be working, the most disappointing thing about this game was how they were playing so cool with no ginger whatsoever to even trying to equalized or even get to score a goal. It was almost as if it was another team entirely.

The club is not showing signs of permanent improvement.  When you predict that they have recovered,  the next game they will come up with a poor performance.  I think almost all top clubs in the world go through the process of losing form after staying in top form for a long time. Maybe City are going through their downtime and my suggestion is that the club should look for another manager after this season.

It was a masterclass performance from Liverpool after a disappointing draw with Aston Villa. They showed class in Etuhad and deserved to return with the three points. Changing coaches usually have adverse effects in some clubs like the case of Manchester United but Arne Slot have built on the success of Jurgen Klopp to take Liverpool to greater heights.

Actually both games have really makes Liverpool drop four points, but to be honest beating a team like Everton and Aston villa in the premier league now is not easy. More especially in their home ground is very difficult to defeat them, if not for the experience of Liverpool in those two games I think they would have ended up losing, but at least this their match against Manchester city have really helped them to secured three points.

I was not surprised at all that Liverpool beat Manchester City, this season Manchester City is not like the previous seasons in the league and the Champions League. They are constantly losing, there was nothing they could do against Liverpool who was in such good form. No team can cope with the speed of Liverpool's wingers in the league.

We can say that Liverpool widened the gap between itself and its closest follower Arsenal with the victory it got today.

Even before todays match, I already know that Manchester City can’t win the league title this season, all what pep Guardiola should be struggling for is how he will be able to end the season in top 4. Seriously, Pep Guardiola should try to improve the team’s performance, if Manchester City is not careful, they might not even end the season in the top 4 because Manchester's performance has been so poor.

Manchester City played against Liverpool today, and they lost. They dominated the match a little bit, but they were just struggling with Liverpool’s defense, and whenever Liverpool has chances, they are always taking advantage of that.

Liverpool is now confidently at the first position, I don’t think any club will be able to take the position from Liverpool this season.
