I will disagree with you if you say Westham went parking the bus. Westham didn't play that match yesterday with a defensive approach. For a team that has the best squad depth in the whole of Europe not just the premier league, I don't think any club has the number of players in total that Chelsea has currently, for this reason, Chelsea has no excuse of fatigued players or injuries because they have at least 3 men on a particular position.

The coach was right when he said his not in title race, the fans and players has already had in mind they are not gonna win any title or have a good games. In the first leg they all played well now that the league is in its second le matches is difficult to win a game. They finished two latest seasons with a runner-up position and are going to have it again. this is just the effect of the over reliance on palmer and now that he is not at his best the team is struggling to find her sparkle. for ten games, you have only managed to get a two good result, and this is same team that at a point looked like one that could potentially be considered a title contender. one thing is certain with the numbers of games that each team is expected to play before the season gets to a close, it is not just about doing well at certain point in the tournament, in the long run, your ability to maintaining that sparkle is what matters most.

Maresca is completely out of ideas and the whole team lacks a leader that can dictate the tune of each game and bring the team to playing in that tune. a lot of unnecessary tackles and misplaced passes from the defensive wings while the attackers are finding it difficult to get the back of the net. for Chelsea, scoring first is not even the issue because even after scoring, they don't currently have what it takes to defend herm lead.

These two teams that you made mentioned are in a complete mess right now because their present form is nothing to write home about, just take a look at how terrible Chelsea has been at the back and in defense over the cause of the season, they didn't do anything to fix it during the January transfer window, now is when they are really feeling the effect of how weak their team is, because the new owners of the team are just too incompetent to handle the club.

If it were to be the Chelsea of old, Aston Villa is not a match not to mention praising it as a strong team, this proves that Chelsea is still weak. I really don't think Manchester City will win in their match against Liverpool because they are the host team. Manchester City have actually loss their home matches to team in the Premier League and Champions League. Meeting Liverpool at this time their performance haven't improved as anticipated could be a loss for them. Liverpool knows how much they need to win in this match to keep their lead gap with Arsenal widen up. I really don't think Manchester City will win in their match against Liverpool because they are the host team. Manchester City have actually loss their home matches to team in the Premier League and Champions League. Meeting Liverpool at this time their performance haven't improved as anticipated could be a loss for them. I share the same sentiment as you do, unless Liverpool we repeat there recent pattern of play that's either end in 2:1 or a draw aside this, I don't see anyway Manchester City will be excaping them today in this match, Manchester City look like a helpless club right now unless we are going to see a former version of them today, for me as far as a team is in their misform or inconsistent form, i dont see home advantage as anything beside the time around teams playing host to their opponents means nothing, if they will lose, nothing will stop it, so is it, if they will lose too, though we can never be sure in football events until it is over but with the recent form of both club, Liverpool is more likely to win the match, I hope to see Liverpool utilze this opportunity very well to get the 3points and keep a balance stay at the top in their league standings.
