2-0 Man City after a great goal by Cherki and that really should be game over. It will be two wins out of two games for Maresca, he couldn’t have asked for a better start.

Now we simply have to beat Nottingham Forest tomorrow.

After losing again to Leeds United in a row it will be shocking if Liverpool do not exercise strength against Nottingham. Although Nottingham Forest have shown to prove stubborn against Liverpool within the last five matches they have played both home and away. And even at home, the last two games saw the visitors beating Liverpool, I will not be surprised if they get to share points with Liverpool just as Liverpool did last week. Andoni Iraola will most definitely get the necessary time to build his squad, but he will have to win games like this, most especially played at home.
Life should be beautiful for Cherki under Enzo Maresca it shows.

Appreciation for Maresca. I've seen Pep has tried Haaland, Foden, and Cherki last season, and it's worked. However, i didn't know why Pep stopped it. It seems Maresca has learned it, and he's repeating the same combination that produced direct and effective attack.

Other than that i also aware how Elliot and Bouaddi deliver extraodrinary performance just weeks after they joined club. I think Arsenal has to be ready because City can chase the title if they perform with this intensity entire season.

This season will be extremely interesting judging from the score line and game play we are seeing, Man city performance yesterday against Crystal Palace have shown a blend between the players and their new coach Maresca, 1:4 victory is indeed nice, on the other hand Arsenal has started on a very high voltage, winning Man City 3:0 in the community shield and also winning Coventry 3:0 in EPL opening match, this shows consistency and their readiness in wanting to defend the title, Chelsea is also doing well, raising serious treat judging from their first match of the season against Fulham, the Chelsea side played with a high team spirit, Cole Palmer, Pedro etc really improved in the match and Xabi Alonso seems to be getting his task right.

I really see a great competition between this 3 sides, Arsenal, Man city and Chelsea this season for the EPL trophy, one thing am convinced about is that Arsenal won’t carry it again twice in a row but till then let’s enjoy the beauty of the game, football is indeed back.

Crystal palace was not comfortable and they could not even struggle to create anything meaningful, it was a very convincing performance from city than what I was expecting, they scored four goals away from home. So I think the reaction to maresca Is too early, because him loosing one trophy does not suddenly make him a bad manager just has Winning two matches does not everything perfect. Let’s give him time to build the team and show consistency.

The early criticism of Chelsea will probably start to look unnecessary if they can keep improving like this.

Man city’s performance was a very good one even though their starting kinda looked a bit shaky but they were able to dominate possession and pulled clear with a rapid second half burst.

I expect a couple of goals from Halaand today, two atleast.

Cherki’s influence in the match too was very visible especially with the brace he also scored.
I’d say that’s a clear positive early in the Maresca era.

Man city’s next match is with Coventry, but i’m not really intrigued cos i know they are gonna win.

The match i’m looking forward to watching is the derby with Man U.

That is why when people were laughing Maresca for losing to arsenal in that final, I was just wondering why people are laughing because we can't just make judgements based on a defeat and they are just trying to understand each other even though it's expected that Manchester City to give a fight in that final but it seems arsenal have already solved them. But we can see that they are back now to winning games and for the game yesterday, that's an impressive performance by Manchester city and I can see that they are actively trying to win the title this season and if they continue like this, they will win the title even though we have other teams in the premier league that are putting in their best to also win the title and for crystal palace, they will need to improve this season because this is not a good start to them.

You don't need to conclude fast that the Premier league tittle will be between Arsenal and Manchester City because of there good performance, Manchester City has been a good team since Pep Guardiola join the team but before the season started Manchester City lost to Arsenal in the community shield and this made people to believe that Manchester City won't perform well this season also due to the exit of Pep Guardiola, so winning Crystal Palace 1-4 was actually a surprise because they didn't just win the game they also dominated the game and played very well.

A very bad display from Liverpool for the first half, they were not coordinated at all and couldn't open up well for each other. Sometimes, Van Dijk has the ball but no one to pass to. They're all overlapping on Forest players. Frimpong needs to be subbed off, he's killing the game from his position and could've provided an assist for Forest, if not that Alisson was vigilant, the midfield isn't functioning at all. Mac-Allister and Szoboslai needs to do better in the second half.

Nott. Forest was more coordinated in the first half and they've a goal for their stress. I hope we see a better performance in the second half from Liverpool or they're recording their first defeat of the season at home.
