This is the second time Liverpool have come from behind to draw a game against an underdog. Liverpool is slowly going back to the trenches, to be honest. Bad defense is costing them a lot.

Iraola has refused to start Araujo in two games, costing them a win. I feel Araujo is better than Jérémy Jacquet. Two games, two points, bad start of the season for Liverpool.

I don’t think every team can comeback from being a goal down twice in two consecutive games, that shows it’s something that have to do with mentality, 2 points is better than none, getting 2 points from a loosing position isn’t much of a bad result.

However a game between Liverpool vs Newcastle or Liverpool vs Nottingham Forest, I don’t think the opposite team is an underdog, because if you watch football very well you will understand that this teams are big teams in Europe, Nottingham Forest is two times Champions League winning team, the last time I checked a certain club in North London is yet to win a Champions League, so when Liverpool plays that North London club do we have to call them an Underdog.

Perhaps, don’t you think that you’re wrong for thinking Liverpool is going back to the trenches when they’re playing in the Champions League, and just completed a huge deal with Jeff Bezos(4th Richest Man in the World) & 1892 Holdings, which will be investing more money in the club to sign more stars like Bradley Barcola.

I'm beginning to have some form of doubts if Andoni Iraola will be capable enough to lead Liverpool to the level of victory they hope to achieve this season, i couldn't believe it that with all of the very expensive front line he's got, this is the best he could pull off after two games against supposed weak teams, or safe to say underdogs. i honestly feel very dissatisfied not just because they didn't win, but because even their playing style indicates they are not strong enough to aim at wining the championship this season.

I did expected far much more from them, knowing that Forest isn't in their very best form, a narrow win was very much achievable but hey left the game to forest to the point they looked lucky to have secured a draw in the game, well some may say the season just began so lets us give them some more time and see if they will improve as the season progresses.

Anyone pointing the the finger to Andoni Iraola didn’t obviously watch the game, while I will say Liverpool hasn’t really picked up as Everyon would expect from them I think they definitely have improved in certain areas which is in terms of intensity, yes it wasn’t that high like the days of Jurgen Klopp but they definitely improved it unlike under Arne Slot but Oliver Glasner the Nottingham Forest manager who we all know is very smart understand what Iraola was trying to play and actually stopped that by lunching the ball instead of playing out from the back and that’s exactly what got them penalty and also stopped Liverpool from playing.

The biggest problem Liverpool has is not Iraola but all this big money signings like Isak who seriously I was highly disappointed in today. Aside the tap in he scored he struggled all match even the usual link up play by him was not their and then the central defense I think both Jacquet and Araujo are just shaky giving the manager he big headache of who to start and it’s costing the team

Liverpool team was able to bring this game to a level, their effort enabled them to share the points. The game is almost over but not over yet, and there are only a few minutes left. However, Liverpool team has a strong attacking attitude, but Nottingham Forest they are trying defensively.
Because the players of Forest team they know that since this game is back to a level, it is not possible to win, but their strategy is to keep the game at an equal level and share the points. However, in the end Liverpool team was saved from losing, it has been positive for Liverpool team.

The game is over and Liverpool ended it with a 2-2. This was how their last game ended. Two draws means two points with two goals in each match. Forest couldn't defend their lead and it cost them sharing a point with Liverpool. Though, it's a good one for them because they played away from home.

Liverpool defense is very bad, they have no reason to draw that match to Nottingham Forest. They draw the last one with Newcastle and since they are kind of above average, I will not fault them on that one but this one, they don't deserve a good place. I'm already seeing their place on the Premier League this season and the fact that they are going to make appearance this season, I'm not sure if they are going to make another one next season.

This Nottingham they draw too lost their first match to Leed United, this team that everyone used to celebrate and make cheap 3 points in the Premier League. If such team can bend down Nottingham Forest, they don't need an excuse to draw to them. The defense system is bad and I don't know what this Iraola is doing, this is not how to manage players. I really give it to Klopp, that club has never been the same since he left the club to rest.

So far he's managed to maintain an unbeaten run in two games so I feel it's just a matter a time and patience. Slot was a god coach but when he started failing, he couldn't come back from it.
All I know is Liverpool need to do better because what I saw from them today was very impressive. They never took the lead and if Victor Munoz hadn't scored the equalizer, that would have been a loss for the new coach. Two points from two games is a poor result for a club like Liverpool and this season is very competitive so if they don't buckle up, they might find it hard to stay in the top 4.

I will say that you are mistaking Premier League as La Liga, in Premier League every team is very important because none of them can be on the estimated, take a look at Aston Villa, Newcastle and Bournemouth that we are performing very well to occupy the top four in the last two seasons, honestly I personally found it so interesting because that was a wake up call for the top teams to reorganize themselves when it comes to competing for the title. Regarding the issue of Liverpool I will say that they are still hope for them in winning the trophy, play draw in the first two matches is actually a sign of weakness but I will give them the benefit of doubt and see how they will continue to perform in the remaining matches.

The point is that both teams that Liverpool have played against are not easy teams. They are average teams, but the point is that any team that faces them always finds it difficult to beat them. So, these two draws did not surprise me because I even expected them.
If we look at their head to head record, we are going to see that, whether home or away, Nottingham Forest have beaten Liverpool before, and Liverpool have also beaten them. So, the result was not bad based on their statistics; both teams have gotten results against each other.But I don't understand the reasoning behind why some people are surprised by the results that Liverpool have gotten. We also have to agree that the Premier League is very competitive, and then we understand it seem there is not weak teams premier League.

Just hours before City 1.69 vs Palace 5.00 to kick off. I don't have huge expectation for them followed a luck win they got in the previous game. The way Maresca manages City is not even convincing me as a fan. Although Palace is also shite this time, but i don't wanna be overconfidence City to get an easy win.
They have signed so many new players, but still not integration showed by them. But i hope Maresca does something to secure three points. Playing Cherki, Bouaddi and Elliot together will be so good.

I believe that Manchester City will definitely dominate this match to secure the win. And I’m confident that in the first half we’ll already see them assert their dominance through ball possession. In their last meeting last season Manchester City defeated Crystal Palace with a convincing 3-0 victory. And they were able to put on a very impressive performance even without Haaland who is their sharpest striker. Phil Foden was a key contributor to City’s victory in that match. And in this upcoming match Phil Foden will most likely support Haaland in launching attacks on the front line. So I personally am confident that a very satisfying result will also occur in this upcoming match. Perhaps Crystal Palace’s home-field advantage might put a little pressure on Manchester City. But I’m confident they’ll be able to break the deadlock with the great experience they’ve shown so far when facing Crystal Palace. I predict that City will beat Crystal Palace by at least a two-goal margin for this match.

Happy our prediction regarding the result City vs Palace is right. Gettting nervous when City was so dominant in this game, and my luck still plays out because Crystal Palace still managed to score at least one goal that saved my bet.
Winning 3.0 odds sounds good because i almost lost it. I also feel so pumped whjen Foden played together with Cherki and Haaland. I start to recognize my club again now.



Beside that do you guys watch Liverpool. Their club still look so mid even after Forest lost any of their good players. So this time, i have to agree with what Carragher said that Liverpool wasted so much money for nothing.
They may get a draw against Forest, but they just lucky enough because Forest can win it if they able to play Delap.

Coventry played with the defending champions Arsenal and lost the match 3-0 which was expected from Arsenal, but in today match we can't still predict what will happen, that Hull city won Manchester united and coventry losing 3-0 to Arsenal doesn't still mean that Hull city is going to defeat Coventry, a draw is possible or any team to win.

Based on the bookies, Conventry City are favorites to win today's game but I think both of them have equal chances of winning but a draw is most likely because their last three games were all draws.

Okay, there is a possibility of a draw in the Coventry and Hull match. Again, both teams are new so there may be more pressure in the match. But you haven't seen the results of recent matches so you might be saying that their last three matches were draws. If you do a little more research on head-to-head and recent results, you will see that their last few matches have more wins and losses, not draws.

When Liverpool scored twice against Newcastle United to earn a point I thought they have learned their lesson and they were going to play better this season, that conviction made me believe Liverpool was going to beat Nottingham Forest and to put my money on Liverpool but for Liverpool to comeback twice and force Nottingham Forest to a 2-2 draw match for what should have been a comfortable win for them I think Liverpool misery would likely continue this season.

It seems no one show interest in today's match between the newly promoted teams.

Coventry City (0) vs (1) Hull City. It's two match already but Coventry City is still playing like a championship team. Fair to say that Hull City came prepared more than Coventry City.

The performance wasn't entirely a bad one. They control the ball and seized possession from Hull City but there's no point controlling the ball if you end up losing. They need a better striker up front to finish the work because you can not survive in this league without scoring goals.

These are expected results most especially under a manager who had fewer signings done for him and at the same time players getting to understand the system.
AI's intense football is the reason why he was brought in as he is the manager with almost the same intense football Jurgen Klopp played. I believed all these first 6 fixtures will see inconsistency and probably pick up late October. The last five fixtures where also obviously seen that Nottingham Forest have messed-up with Liverpool. They were fortunate to salvage a point out of the game. They may successfully get three points against Ipswich next fixture.

The Liverpool coach was at Bournemouth last season before he signed as Liverpool coach. Andoni Iraola in the second half of the 2025/2026 season went unbeaten. Most of the results were drawn. Two draws already for Liverpool with Andoni Iraola. I will say it is a bad result for Liverpool if they are going for the league title. A win is very important for title contenders. Perhaps Andoni Iraola's aim is to finish in the top 4 and play in the Champions League. If I'm a Liverpool fan, it will be more annoying to see that it is usually Liverpool that comes back to equalize for a draw.

I dont like how they are playing at all. Nottingham Forest just didnt have luck in the end or could have taken all three points in this away match. I think Liverpool needs to do much better if they want to be at the top of the table. Liverpool haven’t looked convincing at all in these first two games (2 draws)
If they keep playing like this, I don’t see them challenging for the title, because they need to improve a lot

I don't think am the only one that surprised in Liverpool home match today 2-2 draw, indeed Liverpool played well from the beginning till the end of the match but their front players are not too strong enough to help Liverpool to win home match than to struggle to fight for draw match in their second match, I don't think other teams will have any fear in meeting Liverpool this season base on what they experience from today match because their opponent are not strong enough to draw this match in Liverpool home.
