I think many of us expected City to beat Crystal Palace, but considering how cautiously they played in the first round, I expected this win to be far from easy as well. However, things turned out differently for City in the second round. They played with much more freedom, created a lot of chances, and Cherki and Haaland scored two goals each. The first half of the match was kind of interesting, Liverpool made some attempt, but they couldn’t convert any of the attempts into goal. We currently in the second half of the match, and I can’t really say Nottingham forest is going to win the match just because they are leading already. I feel Liverpool should be able to get a goal in the second half of the match. I really expect a draw in the match, I don’t really think Nottingham forest will be able to maintain their 1 goal lead till the end of the match, but let’s see what’s going to happen in the second half of the match, let’s see if Liverpool will be able to equalize in the second half of the match.

Tottenham are going to play against Newcastle today also, Newcastle were able to hold Liverpool to a draw in their last game whereas Tottenham suffered a massive defeat against Brentford but based on Tottenham performance in their last match in the Carabao Cup, I think Tottenham might get atleast one point from this game.

Despite Newcastle having a good recent away record on Tottenham's ground ^{[winning both of their previous visits]}, I also think we might see a different Tottenham than the one that lost in the opening week ^{[even with the injuries that they have]}, so I'm predicting it'll be a high-scoring draw ^{[over 2.5]}.

A point is better than none. Liverpool was able to get a point before the end of their match against Nottm Forest. It was a nice comeback they were able to achieve, but this is not the way forward for Liverpool to have 2-2 draws in their first and second match of the Premier League season.

Whatever it is, Liverpool management will do to sign one or two additional players before Tuesday's closing transfer window, let them pull it through, because this performance I see today is not what will see them top the Premier League table or reach the quarter or semi-finals of the Champions League

They don't only need Barcola, they need a replacement for Frimpong, he's clearly underperforming. The deal just had to go through and Barcola needs to arrive at Anfield, Liverpool players were just sluggish in this match, the match came alive only after the first set of substitutions. I kept asking myself the reason the forth official delayed bringing them on when Iraola requested, Does it look like he was intentionally delaying their entry?

Iraola needs to harmonize this Liverpool team very well, their performance was just not what I hoped for. I think Jacquet will be a good replacement for Konate, but he needs to read the game better, the penalty would've been avoided if he followed up the throw after obstructing their attack.

Liverpool had a good chance of winning this match, but they could not perform well at the beginning, which is a failure for them. Four point gone just like that in the first two fixtures for Liverpool and this is supposed to be one of the teams we expected to be among the title contender? That's a lot. Nottingham forest is not a small side to be underrated and ideally considering the squad at both side, a draw is not suppose to be a bad result but doing so for the first two games is not the best way to get all hyped up for the season that has just started. It's been a concern on how they will survive in the absent of moh Salah and some of the players they've sold out and with a result as this yet again, it further burtrays the point that they might struggle greatly in this season.

The match between Liverpool and Nottingham ended in a draw, which is clearly very disappointing, given that Liverpool had a poor season last year. So, with their performance this season being this poor, I don’t think they’ll have much hope left of competing for the Premier League title. Even though this was their first match of the season, I can already see clearly that Liverpool won’t be able to compete at the top of the standings this season unless they pull off a miracle and significantly turn their performance around. But that doesn’t seem likely, given that their current coach still hasn’t found the right lineup to improve Liverpool’s performance. So yes, Liverpool will most likely only be competing for a top four finish this season.

Another day, another weekend and another draw for Liverpool, I was following up on the game and I'm wondering what's wrong with this Liverpool of a team, this was supposed to be a match they would have won, the reason being playing at home. Last weekend the drew, this weekend it's the same thing even though it was from behind. I was even surprised to see Nottingham Forest players making more attempts and creating chances in the first half while Liverpool players were just there almost doing nothing other than holding the ball but the real damage was being done Nottingham Forest, it's just unfortunate that they didn't score more or possibly maintain their lead.

You should not conclude so soon for Man U, though it's so shameful that the newly promoted Hall City was able to defeat them. The most revealing but unfortunate part is that the two goals delivered in the match were scored by Ajayi and Mendy who are not strikers, winger or centre-forward, but center-back, which proves huge lapses. Man U dominated truly, but what's the point if that couldn't be converted into the needed goals? Still, I would not give up on the squad, they could be warming up/connecting to their new season reality, I think. It is like this at times, with the team doing better later.

Here we always talk about how embarrassing United were in their debut match, but could it be that perhaps their opponent is actually very strong? its a question that many have asked themselves, even if everyone knows that a newly promoted team can have quality, but not that it can keep up with or even win against a team like that of the Red Devils.

This is the second time Liverpool have come from behind to draw a game against an underdog. Liverpool is slowly going back to the trenches, to be honest. Bad defense is costing them a lot.

Iraola has refused to start Araujo in two games, costing them a win. I feel Araujo is better than Jérémy Jacquet. Two games, two points, bad start of the season for Liverpool.

That's what we should take away from these matches. Besides, they didn't do badly because they won. Fulham is a very solid team, and having Arbeloa in charge added a special edge to the match.

Chelsea, in my opinion, isn't looking bad at all. They've been putting in the work since Xabi arrived. Honestly, I'm not too surprised with the Liverpool performance in today match against Nottingham Forest because with the way Liverpool end last season, they were struggling at the end of the season and coming to these season, instead of Liverpool should look for away to improve from the wrong part of lossing and drawing their games and make use of a new strategy these seasons to avoid not ending up with a positions that will make the players feel uncomfortable in hungry to  playing with their full passion, I'm not wishing any club bad but if Liverpool doesn't hasting up to improve more in the team work, it will not be funny were they will find themselves in the league table.

I think Liverpool were a bit lucky in this game despite their domination in ball possession. Forest were more dangerous, especially in the first half. Their expected goals (xG) were also way higher than Liverpool's. The only good thing for Liverpool in this game is that they could come back twice, just like in their game against Newcastle last week. The good mentality is still there.

Then about Man City and Enzo Maresca, I think he already knows how to use Cherki. His off the ball movement needs to be highlighted apart from the goals. Is it too early to say City with or without Pep have no difference? The transition from Pep Guardiola to Maresca seems smooth (at least till now).
