As expected, a clear and well deserved City win. One of the rare occasions in which I wanted United to get a good result but it was a one-way game from the start - even when Sancho scored the equaliser.

I wonder what went wrong with Ronaldo, there were rumors he said he will not play when he heard he's starting from the bench. If that is true, it's really disgraceful and a shame to see from one of football's greatest players.

I can imagine the excitement of those who bet on United the moment they equalized and the subsequent disappointment. I supported United, but I can't say that I'm upset - United have made me used to bad results this season

I wasn't wrong about my prediction for the Manchester City - Manchester United match. I didn't expect Manchester United to do the same Tottenham did in this stadium. In fact, their effort in the first half was really awesome and played at the same level with their opponent. But they were out of the rivalry completely after that. I really don't know how they gave up on the match all of a sudden. And this caused them to get an embarrassing loss by 4-1 as a result. Tottenham were much better than this.

It was a great week for Arsenal. They have finally captured the fourth position now. They defeated Watford in a very competitive match by a 3-2 result away. After winning this match, they just hoped Manchester United to lose against Manchester City in Etihad Stadium. And Manchester City just tore them apart especially thanks to their incredible performance in the second half by a 4-1 result. And Arsenal are one point ahead of Manchester United now. And they are in this condition despite having three matches missing which is amazing.

The week was also an interesting in the Premier League. Arsenal has finally secured the 4th position. They won against Watford today. Although Watford lost the game, but their performance was impressive. It quite obvious that they really struggled and tried their best. But, it seems Arsenal needed the 3 winning points. While, Manchester City destroyed United today. They literally won in both halves. Poor United was only able to score a goal, and 2 shots on target.

Arsenal played amazing by beating Watford, even though Watford didn't play badly, it's just that Arsenal played a little better. Arsenal players were
very visible fighting spirit to be able to win and they finally got it. This is Arsenal's fourth win in a row, if Arsenal play consistently like this, Arsenal deserves
to be in 4th position. While Tottenham as Arsenal's strongest competitor to fight for the 4th position, which did not play consistently. So Arsenal's chances
are far greater to be in 4th position until the end of this season and can play in the Champions League next season. Then regarding the Manchester
derby match, the result is not surprising, because it is predicted that Man City will win the match. But what surprised me was that Man United conceded
up to 4 goals and only scored one goal. This proves that Man United's defense is really bad and Man United must buy another defender at the end of
this season.

Manchester City dominated whole game and gave no hope to United in derby. Both Mahrez and de Bruyne scored twice, it could've been more if they need to. It's very hard to steal points from them at Etihad.

I wasn't expecting MUFC to win, but a draw at least, KDB and Mahrez took that option away from them scoring twice each, i wonder if the outcome of the game would have been different if MUFC featured a complete team with CR7 who was out with a hip injury, Varane and luke Shaw who weren't included because they tested positive for covid. Do you think we would have seen a different scoreline?

want a draw in the game against City is very difficult. United is currently very difficult to improve performance, in matches against weaker teams sometimes they are quite difficult especially against a club like City with almost inverse performance.
Now it still doesn't even deserve to be called a Derby because it's just a massacre that has continued over the past few seasons for United

I also agree with you, playing elanga since the game started is a bad decision, but Rangnick only realized in the 64th minute and played Lingard. I see MU already has great players, their only weakness lies in the coach.

As much as i hope that wasn't the problem, i kind of imagine it is something Ronaldo can do which makes me believe such report, i have been complaining about Ronaldo's body language for a while now, especially when he doesn't score, doesn't start, or is substituted, he makes it look more like it is about him than the team, and if you've been watching football for as long as possible, you'll understand the team will always come first before any player. "Players come and go, but the team remains". If this is true, then disciplinary action should be expected, and right now it looks like Ronaldo will prolly leave the team at the end of the season.

Yes it was, some of the posts I'm reading seem to be taking the glory from Manchester City and blaming Manchester United for losing the derby. Come on guys Manchester City is the most lethal team in the League and other leagues as well. Manchester United didn't satnd a chance.
I was expecting to see Ronaldo starting the match. We don't know what happened in the locker room we can only wait for Ronaldo's side of the story. I always believed Rangnick is not utilizing Ronaldo full potential he looks limited unlike his regular self

I said it before that Man United were solidifying their position as fifth place when they were having a good run since their prior position at fourth place was misleading to begin with. They were already ahead of Arsenal and Tottenham by a few games that time.

Exactly. Man United stats was too bad. I'm surprised Man United played like a small team in EPL. Another surprise, Rashford wasn't a starter in this match, he played from the bench. Man United coach prefers to put Fernandes as a central forward in the 1st half.  

apart from only having 5 shots on goal, MU also for more than 90 minutes only had low ball possession statistics.

Man United players only take 30% ball possession, the same as EPL small team usually did. I don't know what's wrong with Man United players, they have Pogba, Fernandes, and Sancho, why these players cannot show their best in controlling the ball. I think they play individually, not as a team. So, that's why Man United is very bad in ball possession.

You are right. It is easy to predict Man United will lose in this match since they play against Man City in Etihad Stadium (Man City home). Moreover, Man City is in a good shape lately, it will be very difficult for Man United to beat them. But, I am surprised with the stats and with the number of goals. Man United only made 5 shots, while Man City can make 24 shots during the match. We know Man City should dominate the match, but Man United performance was too bad in this match. How can Man United players only make 5 shot attempts during the match?   Anway, they are lucky to score 1 goal from 5 shot attempts.

I expected Manchester United to lose this game because they are well below Manchester City standard especially when Manchester City need the victory because Liverpool are breathing heavily in their neck, Manchester United won't make the top four this season their players don't have the guts to do more, they are not even better than West ham talkless of arsenal and Tottenham.

Dunno if Ragnick will be able to do something with ManU for a long time since it appears that he will not stay more than the last game of the season at best tho.
ManU has decent players but where are they physically and psychologically when the team needs them? I was quite monitoring the odds before this match and I was very worried with stats. A team like ManU should have close odds to City not +5x ..

Crazy goal galore and manchester united this time completely cant handle mad manchester city.

I was expecting that manchester united could come up with a reeal surprise against manchester city but yeah it seems pep team much strong mentally and statistically.
United losing the moment... as if they could keep holding it draw after the sancho goal but damn , it last for 6 minutes till de bruyne make city leading again and from that time united ate gone for me.
They also in threat dragged down by tottenham and could finished the season out of european competition.

I hope this is not true, because it is already wrong and a professional should not do this. Every football player wants to go on the field in every match, and with regard to Cristiano Ronaldo, this is absolutely true, but still I don't think that the rift between the player and the German coach has reached such an extent. However, we will certainly be able to find out whether this information is to some extent true, if Ronaldo does not appear in the second leg of the Champions League with Atletico Madrid, in theory, the player's appearance on the field will have to refute such rumors, but the absence of a player can revive such rumors with renewed vigor.

The chemistry among the players is important, but the players' quality has a big role as well. Even they play solidly and having good chemistry, they won't win the match if having bad players quality. You need to have quality players to score and make good assists in a big match like City vs United. Anyway, not all mega stars, only a few payers can be called as superstars. In City, we can call De Bruyne as a superstar, while in United we can call Ronaldo as a superstar.

this was not the best time to bet big on man utd, but sometimes it works and you win big bets like these, but I wouldn't say it was reasonable to bet on man United with their situation against Man City with their good situation as well, it was a really really tough bet even though the odds were just @12, correct score in the match in the favor of man city could have been better.

Every football player wants to go on the field in every match, and with regard to Cristiano Ronaldo, this is absolutely true, but still I don't think that the rift between the player and the German coach has reached such an extent.

This isn't true, he had an injury and may miss their next game, he may be having troubles with the coach or something, but it's difficult to accept what the papers report these days. I hope this help.
