The God of soccer was with Liverpool and congratulations to Liverpool as a club and their fans, the match was a tough one throughout the full time both clubs could not score any goal until the penalty shootout where Chelsea keeper failed to convert any shoot, well the league ended in an unexpected way I never expect a penalty in the match.

Liverpool's luck is endless, During the penalty shootout, I was worried that Liverpool would miss, but it was the Chelsea players who failed to score in the penalty shootout. The premier league is always full of surprises, especially in every meeting between Chelsea and Liverpool, they always present the perfect match.

The Carabao Cup was one of its kind after a tough struggle between Chelsea and Liverpool which ended in a goal less draw and resulted to a 10-11 penalty shoot out giving Liverpool a well deserved win. Liverpool made the game an interesting one afterall. No one will deny Liverpool deserve what the got they play for a straight win but luckily the won through penalty shoot out

I agree, it was odd as a minimum, and also stupid not to count the goal because of a player offside who didn't actually touch the ball... It was still a tense match, like liverpool constantly attacking and chelsea being under pressure, but at the same time chelsea also played well, but liverpool picked up their win. By the way the penalty shootout was very long, I thought it would never end...

Liverpool have another match absent again and they will play it some time in the future. For now, their main focus is to defeat West Ham in Anfield in a week. They are going to play their match before Manchester City too which is a good thing for Liverpool. Because Liverpool would like to win this match and cause Manchester City to be under pressure against Manchester United in the derby match. But as Manchester United have been not very credible these days, Manchester City still have the upper hand on them too.

Yes you are right , no body expected it and the win is worth celebrating. It would have been very hard for Liverpool to win if not for the penalty,  Liverpool used their chance very well by not missing the penalty. Chelsea was tough to Liverpool and didn't give any spcae to score ,Liverpool were happy to score a goal through penalty.

I agree with you that nobody expected the outcome of the game to be a penalty shootout. The game was indeed a final nobody want to make any careless mistakes all the players gave their best but you know in football ⚽ especially the final there must be a winner. Congrats to Liverpool for the victory.

Manchester United are going to struggle in the remaining time of the season a lot as it seems. They gave everyone hope after winning two weeks in a row in the Premier League. But all that effort was in vain in the Watford game. They took control of the game and found so many goal opportunities. But they wasted all of those opportunities very generously too. What a poor result from them! I didn't like especially Fernandes' performance. His being selfish hindered his team from scoring an easy goal.

Not just Manchester united but every team within the top and bottom of the table. What I can almost say for sure is that, Manchester United just gave Arsenal a ticket straight to the UCL come next season because, there is no way, Arsenal won't be getting a win out of there postponed or remaining games. While, Liverpool still looks upto Manchester City for an opening so, they could take over the EPL. With the Carabao Cup won, they've got more momentum to go for the EPL title. Can't say, it was well deserved, the game was tensed for sure but both teams did there best, it was just a goalkeeping test on whose best.

Kudos to Chelsea they make the game very interesting because I expect Liverpool to have won by full time to carry the game to extra time was not easy for Chelsea because Liverpool is in such a fan, for me the man of the match before the penalties was Mendy, the Chelsea keeper was the one who kept his team in the game.

The winning mentality has gone too far away from manchester united in the post-sir alex ferguson era , not sure if a new coach like conte or a new world class player like haaland  could really make a change  in manchester united .. it's like about how the internal team must changed , i believe in cristiano fighting spirit..

I think Ralf needs to talk to his players because they are playing away from teamwork, no body wants to give a killer pass anymore for another player to score which is very bad. So many wasted opportunities today that's not how it ought to be especially when your fighting to be in the top 4 in your league. Man United not getting all 3points against Watford is a clear indication that the team is not fully equipped to play the champions league next season.

Cristiano Ronaldo need to help his friend team how can keep help on defensive area.

Ronaldo keeps the defensive area? How can bro? He is a central forward, he is better to stay in the attacking line. Those young players must be ordered to help the defensive line. Ronaldo is better to focus on scoring and delivering assists to other strikers. It will be too tired if he is ordered to help the defensive line as well.

Chelsea also had their moments and, with a successful combination of circumstances, they could have led to victory, so it is not entirely fair to say that Chelsea reached the penalty shootout only thanks to Mendy's game. With all that, I will certainly give some advantage to Liverpool, but still I will not say that it was very significant. Chelsea also had their dangerous moments and their uncounted goals by the referee of the match. Unfortunately for the Chelsea head coach, the replacement of the goalkeeper for a penalty shootout did not materialize and Kepa could not repel a single shot, however, the same can be said about the Liverpool goalkeeper, because it was not Kelleher who hit the shot, but Kepa hit above the goal, but it is difficult to blame him for this, because still the main task of the goalkeeper is to fight off, not score a penalty.

I think several times in their matches Cristiano Ronaldo also came down to help and break the opponent's attack. But to stay in that defensive area isn't great either, I agree with you.
I will agree if Ronaldo plays as a second striker and Ralf Rangnick looks for players to be placed as spearheads. Because several times I saw that the Manchester United midfielder couldn't pass the ball forward and that was one of the things that made Manchester United's attack ineffective.

West Ham managed to get a win, and they are trying to at least maintain their current position in 5th place in the standings. But Arsenal continued to follow with the acquisition of the same points, which is 45. But Arsenal really benefited from their remaining matches, which was 3 matches. If they are able to maximize all three, 9 points are already in hand, that means they can shift West Ham and also Manchester United.

I watched the first half of the match which was really boring. Until the goal from West Ham broke the silence it was thought that there would be no goals, but West Ham could at least provide resistance for just 1 point until the second half just finished. Less interesting, but on the other hand, finally West Ham went straight up to 5th place in the standings bypassing 2 steps, namely Tottenham and Arsenal.

West Ham was very lucky because from several attempts, it was only in the 59th minute that a goal came from Soucek.  west ham i'm sure it won't be long in the 5' position because arsenal or tottenham will take that position again.  arsenal will play against Watford and for sure it will be an little bit easy match for arsenal.

West Ham maintains the winning versus wolves, which is have good capital to fight Liverpool in the next week, but after I look at 1st half I still think they will not get for winning because still have a weak line that can be easy for Liverpool to go deeper into defense. especially when we look at the match before, Liverpool creates 6 goals without a reply where Salah and Mane give each 2 goals.

Arsenal has a good chance to take over the young lads are ready you could see the zeal and passion.

From the table searched from google  , the 4th spot for champions league is still contested. Manchester United at 47 point is not well standing and I see Arsenal having better chance to enter this spot because of more matches to play. Westham may not have that because they have already played 27 matches with Manchester United.

Liverpool weren't that great in the game except for the penalties. It's sad for Chelsea because they really played very well to have won the game and it is more sad because it was Kepa but again it is football, many argue Mendy would have put that penalty unlike Kepa that skyrocket it. Before now, Kepa has been Chelsea's penalty hero, making couple of saves hence he was picked ahead of Mendy. It is what it is, someone will win and the other wins.

Arsenal have a good chance of moving up on the table to occupy the third position even though Arsenal and Manchester United have played 27 matches each but Arsenal have more winning compared to Manchester United which will make it easier for the club to claim that position, but this football anything can happen.

Well penalties on after 0-0 draw between Chelsea and Liverpool although I am still waiting to see more analysis about the VAR decision to rule out Lukaku's goal on extra time.

I thought Chelsea have won that with that Lukaku goal. It would have been good for him too but unfortunately it was ruled out. That been said, many expected Chelsea to even win at penalty too following their recent antecedent. They had a penalty hero who was acclaimed a penalty expert. Then again, there's Jorginho who is undoubtedly one of the best penalty taker in the world. Although, we all would agree that penalties are always 50-50 chances and anyone could miss it but Kepa, it was expected.
