I've said this before too, it's a clear handball. Even without an explanation with pictures it's clearly handball, the problem is not with the VAR but with the referee in the middle of the field. So, what should be investigated further is the referee who led the match, whether the referee was really neutral or something else, so the referee was not willing to see the VAR display on the screen, it was something suspicious. Because so far, when the referee is willing to watch VAR broadcasts, the results are mostly always in favor of VAR and not on the individual decisions of the referees concerned.

Right, This is the important point.
Even though there are no pictures and VAR there it is true it is a clear Handball but the problem is the referee has said it is not Handball and the decision is final.
Apart from the losses of course there are losses there especially for Everton but indeed there is something that must be resolved afterwards such as a review of the referee who led the match.

I think the game of tonight is like some kind of final for Burnley which is fighting hard to avoid relegation and if they manage to win this it is a pretty solid step toward that objective.Their form undoubtedly is better than Leicester but Leicester has the better quality players when we compare each player individually so the most logic result for this game should be a draw.Also a draw should not be considered a negative result for Burnley right now in a situation where every point counts a lot.

It is the clearest handball you will ever see. If you don't believe me, just look at Rodri's and Guardiola's faces when they saw it.
As a Liverpool fan I'm absolutely furious with this, it is potentially a title-losing error for us - one that there is no excuse for making with VAR technology.

It's really those situations where it's hard to understand how VAR works. This technology is fantastic, and it should serve to correct these errors, which in the field are sometimes difficult to understand. But unfortunately, all over the European championships, we've seen this type of VAR error that shouldn't exist.

The problem is the type of laws that football has, which are dubious laws that are based on the criteria of the referees.
A law cannot be based on intention/non-intention, because nobody is in the player's head. It cannot be based on intensity, because only the players involved know the force used. Among other aspects, which are based on what the referee thinks and not on what is clearly seen by everyone.

Leicester are in such a miserable condition now that they can't even get very close to top four even if they win all of their absent games now. They have four absent games waiting for being played and one of them is today against Burnley away. Burnley have been an interesting team for some weeks. They defeated even Tottenham in a home game by 1-0. And this must have improved their morale a lot now. Leicester must play very carefully against them to be able to win. As Leicester couldn't win any game for five weeks, they really need to win this to pull themselves together.

Next Leicester will face Burnley, this is quite an interesting match, although Leicester have a greater chance of winning. However, Burnley cannot
be underestimated, because Burnley surprisingly managed to beat Tottenham and could draw with Man United. Moreover, Burnley's performance is
better than Leicester's in the last 5 matches. Burnley must also be very motivated to win, because they want to get out of the relegation zone,
so I predict Burnley will beat Leicester. After I saw Burnley's last few games, indeed Burnley don't deserve relegation this season, the fighting spirit of

Ronaldo is performing good actually but Manchester United are really bad at getting comfortable wins in the league. And this is really an unbelievable thing to me despite their being eager to win. They waste so many goal chances although they have very effective players in scoring goals. For example, the Watford game should have ended up by a very easy victory for the Red Devils. But they missed all of their chances. Fernandes was not good in this game which was also an important point for this game.

Manchester United team is weak. I love Christiano Ronaldo I think he is the greatest player of all time. His work ethic and charisma is amazing. But Ronaldo can not single handedly carry the team to win trophies. Age is not on his side, he has gotten slower and is more careful on the field. If much pressure is put on Ronaldo to deliver he might sustain injuries trying to outdo himself

Leicester city are performing very poorly this season,they don't have a win in their last five games now,the are lacking creativity every time they play, their attacks are not giving there all when on the pitch,but the board still believe and will still stick with Brendan Rodgers.

I don't think that Leicester city can easily get all three points in their game today against Burnley, because Burnley has started performing very well they got a victory against a good team like Tottenham Hotspur and perform very well against Manchester United and in their last five games they are much better than Leicester so I see the game as Burnley win or draw.

It is really incredible that Burnley had only 1 win in the first 20 games and that they could climb out of the relegation zone if they do not lose against Leicester today.
They have lost only once in their last 7 games, 1-0 against Liverpool, in a game in which Liverpool scored a lucky goal and Burnley deserved more.

If you look at it with more detail - only 5 teams in the league have a better defence than Burnley. According to recent performances, they are my favorites against Leicester tonight.

If Real Madrid next few match will draw or lost and Liverpool will win 2-3 match then it will happen. Burnley has improved defensive qualities. even their midfield has become much stronger than it was at the start of the season. against Leicester, I don't think it will be far from Burnley's match against Crystal Palace which ended in a draw. but if Burnley can overcome Leicester's wing attack I think Burnley can withstand Leicester's aggressiveness in midfield. and Burnley can steal points if there is a chance from the carelessness of the Leicester defense.

After the few first series of matches it seemed that Leicester would be fighting for promotion to the cups, but recently they play very mediocre and are losing a lot of points. Burnley, on the other hand, until recently seemed to be one of the main candidates for relegation from the league, but in the last 3 matches they got as many as 7 points and will certainly fight to stay in the Premiership. In today's match, I bet on a draw.

Everton have made an official inquiry regarding the level of officiating in their matches. Not just the Rodri handball but for other games as well. Would be interesting to see what this results in. Surely, the points wont change but hopefully VAR improves on itself and make lesser errors.

I was really shocked when even VAR made a wrong decision about that very clear penalty. It was an obvious handball and Rodri also blushed after this incident. He also knew that it was a certain penalty. I just don't understand how they can make a huge mistake while there is a great system like VAR. They watch an incident many times to make sure about their decision. But it looks like the referees there should improve themselves to make better decisions in the future.

I just read an update on that. 

"Premier League clarify that the VAR team didn't think there was conclusive evidence that the ball hit Rodri more in the red area of the arm than the green. Nothing to do with offside"

but even with that explanation, im not satisfied with the result. It clearly looks like the ball hit the red zones conclusively enough. What are your thoughts on that?

There is nothing called 100% sure , even with VAR .. those guys behind the monitor have to make a decision as quick as possible based on that video evidence , i would tolerate for once or twice mistakes as human being ... errors are just normal thing.

This kind debate would still exist and that is part of football seasoning though.

VAR is supposed to be a blessing to the game of football but it is fast becoming a curse. What was meant to reduce errors, many thought. It was believed that with the introduction of this technology, complaints during and after games would reduce drastically but it has nonetheless increased.
Some would argue that some of these decisions are deliberate because these referees has time to see the replays before taking final decision yet some still make blunder.

The truth is Leicester City are not a big club to start with. They really have no business in the top 4. Since they lost their owner few years ago, their recruitments have been rather below par. They really don't have enough firepower when compared to clubs in the top 5 but one would have expected to still put up a good fight for those spot.

I made the mistake in thinking Leicester City could score 2+ goals during their last match with Wolves.
They couldn't even get one and it cost me on a really juicy acca I had at over 25.5+x odd betslip which would of paid over $2k.
Can they atleast win todays match.
And yes, they are a team that are lacking firepower since their main contributor of goals Vardy was out last match and probably will be out in the one today.
Also had Burnley to win their last match over the weekend in the pool but of course they lost to a one-nil scoreline.

Ronaldo is a goal machine no doubt. One of his strengths if not the most predominant of them all is his ability to be extremely clinical in the 18 yard box. That been said, it is noteworthy to state Ronaldo is no longer younger and most of the things that freely comes to him as a striker which he uses to execute have slowed down.

ropyu1978, I agree with the 4 teams you mentioned to qualify for the Champions League next season, Arsenal will probably lock up 1 place in the Champions League next season compared to Tottenham. I know Tottenham still have a chance to do better and get maximum points in every game but the difficulty is so far they are unstable even after being lucky enough to win the game against Manchester City.

Arsenal or Manchester United and also Tottenham will fight for tickets to the Champions League next season, it will be a great competition between these three teams until the end of the season. Even though Arsenal are favorites, it is not certain to win all their postponed matches so far.

So far, Arsenal have been able to impress with results. Despite having a shaky period losing to Liverpool and Manchester City and the others, they have still able to pick up points. I thought they where going to draw their last game against Wolves but it turned out to be a win. Yes, they have a fighting chance at winning a champions league ticket come next season and I hope they continue in this winning streak.

Leicester is used to be better but their results this season is very random.. 2 points from 15 in the last 5 games is disappointing while Burnley has 8 out of 15 points.
Odds are pretty much close @2.45 for Leicester and @2.95 for Burnley.
BTTS @1.74 might look safer? since both teams tend to score in their previous games?

We all know about how he performs, he is one of the best players and even he became one of the Goats whose capacity is no longer in doubt.
But that is a thing that has passed. Now he is still in good form for his current age but of course the age factor is one of the things that hinders Ronaldo's performance, especially in scoring goals.
Even now I still haven't seen him score again in the last few games he's played
