I received 4 notifications for a Manchester derby match in the first half. This derby was very easy for Manchester City, 4 goals in the first half was a disaster for Manchester United. Some fans chose to go home and didn't want to wait any longer for the second half because they believe there is no hope of winning the match from Manchester City.

Foden and Haaland were outstanding in this match. Haaland performed well with 2 goals and 1 assist in the first half so that his goal collection continued to increase. In the second half I think Manchester City might slow down the tempo a little bit considering that a 4-goal lead might be considered safe. Rotation of players, this may also be considered by Pep Guardiola because he also has to give enough rest time for his players for the next match.

But bringing Martial over Ronaldo could have been the right decision for Ten Hag because United could have been more embarrassed than this if Ronaldo had been there and at least they could have scored more than 1 goal after falling behind so glaringly.

It was a real Derby with 9 goals! With a Hatrick plus two assists to Foden's goals, Erling Haaland has made an important contribution to the destruction of the red devils. What an amazing player! Manchester City proved too strong after the first half, thus the game was already lost for United. Until the latter stages of the game, I don't think Man United's attack was active enough. There's no doubt this season will be a tough one for Manchester United. It seemed as if their game lacked cohesion. Ronaldo could have provided proper on-field leadership, which is why I think he should have been called upon.

Manchester United was not bad in performance but were poor in mindset and approach. The mindset you use to play against lesser teams is not same to face a very good team like City.
You need to be more offensive and mark them everything in order not to give them chance to possess the ball much and make clever decisions. It was the second half that Manchester United realised themselves and began to play more maturely and comported.

I think Ten Hag game strategy is correct now by lowering the current formation, the formation and strategy used by Ten Hag has been tested against arsenal and they can achieve sweet results at that time, but today defeat was not because of Ronaldo absence but I see In fact Manchester City is much stronger than Manchester United this season, Haalaand effectiveness and ability in destroying the Manchester United defense deserves our  hats off even though it is sad to see a team as big as Manchester United helpless because they were massacred by Manchester City.

Respect player does not mean that the coach should always take the player to play, the coach know what to do with his squad.
I have to say that what Ten Hag did in the 2nd half is the best thing already and proven by 3 goals they made.
I do even doubt Ronaldo could score a goal if he played in the 2nd half, Martial did his job well although it seems to be a late decision from Ten Hag to let him in.
1st half was a disaster for United obviously, the game could be different if United were not conceded by 4 goals in the first 45 minutes.

This is very likely to happen given his current appearance. The 3 goals he scored in the first Manchester derby for him, it was absolutely incredible.
Manchester United still can't match a big team like Manchester City. The slick record in the previous match really won't happen in this match. Left behind by 5 goals was a crushing blow for them. Ten Hag has not been able to bring Manchester United to a higher competition.

Before now I already saw the picture outcome of this match. Manchester United have really improved this season but not to a standard to challenge Manchester City.  Manchester United still tried to score 3 goals , atleast their performance was not poor , they showed some strength to realise some goals.

Manchester United has improved very well and they could play and win Manchester City but it just their mindset to the match. Is it not Manchester City that struggles with Asron Villa and Newcastle for draw?
Manchester United players approached the match with alot of fears in the first half and that was why they were humiliated.
The second half that they came in with alot of courage, you can see the outcome that they won in the second half.

I think Man City first eleven are there strength of the team immediately Guordiola made some substitutions they team became vulnerable allowing Man Utd to score two of their goals, truly Man Utd didn't up their game in the first half due to fear and failure to push forward and attack they rather sat back thus allowed the host to dictate the pace and dominated the game which allow them to score four goals, in the second half Man Utd gain some confidence and push forward to attack the removal Kevin De Bruyne Gündogan, Foden and Grealish by Man City while introduction of Fred, Casimero and Martial made some positive impact.

Manchester City destroyed Manchester United and this match again confirms the perfect decision to buy Haaland. In addition, Foden has a very different change in last two years than Jadon Sancho. A couple of years ago, when Sancho were considered as one of best young stars, Foden did struggled to obtain chance to play in Manchester City.

Then the career of Sancho falls a lot after his transfer to Manchester United and during same period, Foden gradually had been getting more chance to play. In this season, he actually gets a solid position in City squad. He is no longer an alternative player.

I am much more surprised 😲 to see Manchester United getting 3 goals after a disappointing performance from them in the first half of the game, Manchester City put so much pressure in the first half of the game this made the United players, especially their defenders lose confidence in the defense line you could see the way Varane was brought down due to the shoot fired by Kevin De Bruyne, l became tired of the game after the 4th goal and I believe City is back and this time they are unstoppable.

Well Haaland pretty much a monster that fit perfectly with Pep's strategy and that kinda reminded me with how RVP fit in perfectly with Sir Alex's. I feel abit relieved though as a fan because we were down by 4 goals in the 1st half and then somehow we scored 3 goals although the final score became 6-3 but atleast the team scored so there is a slight hope of them improving for the next game

In the second half United's performance did look much better than the first half and this is what they should have done. although indeed the defense is still struggling but by not being careless in taking action and trying to be more open this clearly gives a very good thing.

I turn off my television of first half when Manchester United losing 4-0 at first half and saw several Manchester United fans leaving Etihad Stadium early before final whistle. But unbelievable although Manchester United loss in this derby but they can scored 3 goals on second half, seems several substitutes made by Erik Tan Hag working because Manchester United narrow the gap 3 goals although have conceded 2 goals again in second half and final match scored 6-3 for Manchester City.

Manchester United left 9 points with Arsenal although have one postponed match, but if can't win in left one match I think become difficult for Manchester United reach points get by Arsenal, need recovery for next match and forget bad result tonight for United if want become candidate for Primer League trophy this season.

Manchester City players even though in the second half did not have too much control of the ball. but when there is an opportunity they immediately maximize it with a quick attack.
different from MU which in the second half MU had more control of the ball. but the tempo of MU's game is really slow. too many short passes and lack of courage in directing shots. but United in the second half was much better than the first. If MU in the first half can play well like in the second half then I don't think there will be many goals that will go into the MU goal. But Manchester City are a strong team. and their performance is at its peak. So congratulations on winning Manchester city.

Manchester United was late to find his game so that in the first half Manchester City easily exploited the defense of Manchester United. Look how easy it is for them to score. I hope Martinez and also Varane can stop every attack from Manchester City, but again Manchester City's attack is too strong for them to break.
