I think both have almost the same power. The second match will of course be very exciting. see the difference in points is also very small.

I would say lack of consistency rather thank lack of scoring goals.

Honestly, I don't know what the problem with Manchester United is at this point, in terms of what they need to do. As you can imagine, in the past few years they have gone through so many coaches that the results have been almost non-existent. Additionally, they have purchased Cristiano Ronaldo, who can be used to his fullest potential by them, but they are not able to fully utilize him. This season has been an exciting season for Manchester City following their big purchase of Haaland last season, and the next game against them is going to be a really crucial match for United. After signing him, Manchester City are looking to win the league this season.

But looking at the current performance actually when compared to last season now they still look better even though at the beginning of the season they were clowns but slowly they started to find their rhythm and this is something that is quite good in my opinion.
They will face another test and if they see H2H in this derby. for the previous few seasons it was clear that City had dominated but it was not impossible that there was a surprise like what United did against Arsenal.

Well they cant possibly ditch the league for sure so winning the league as well as the UCL is pretty much their main objective this season. They have been doing so well in the league so far and I think its going to be completely fine if they are going to sacrifice one or two league games just to rest their main players for the UCL in case if they get through the group stage though

I personally feel that they are still very good but even their defensive line is like that, it still leaves a lot of gaps for the opponent even though in this case they still conceded 6 goals.
On the other hand their attack line is also not very good. Although they have scored 15 goals so far but it was thanks to a streak of 9 goals at Bournemouth after that they still struggled to create momentum and Goals.

I hope other clubs like Real Madrid will not dish the hopes of Manchester City to retain the championship league trophy winner this time, even though Real Madrid have sold one of the strongest players who worked so hard to make the club takes the trophy last season Real Madrid is still in top formation that will guarantee them some level of confidence over man city this season.

But as we all know this is football we can expect anything to happen in the game so let's watch out to see what happens in the league but am sure Manchester City could still come top in the premiere even though their still below some clubs on the table.

This is indeed tempting but the problem is even if they can come back and get a better performance than now but still I'm not too sure if I make a bet for them to be champions.
The simple reason might be in the City. Last season they competed until the end but at the moment Liverpool are still missing Mane and City are better because they have a goal machine like Haaland so I am still leaning towards City at the moment.

Liverpool's next game in the league is against Brighton. This is like another big opportunity for Liverpool to improve their morale and performance even more. It's like that because Brighton have lost their manager Graham Potter to Chelsea while they were having a great run in the league. This might affect the team negatively maybe so Liverpool had better focus on dominating the game and destroying them by a satisfying score. Liverpool's main problem has been related to scoring in the end. If they keep up scoring multiple goals in a game for some weeks then we can have the usual team back finally.

Something like, Leicester City getting there first three points, Tottenham Hotspur winning against Arsenal, Manchester United taking all three points at Etihad. Of course the results you mentioned can happen as well. It is football in the end and we can't take anything for granted. I just like to act with my senses as well for some games. Liverpool - Brighton makes me feel like Liverpool will be in control of the game and they will get a reassuring win to continue in their recovery phase.

Tottenham can't beat Arsenal in Emirates in an PL game since 2010. This is an interesting fact to take into account. Of course while they are this much in-form maybe they might break a leg here as well. On the other hand Manchester United beat Manchester City in Etihad in a league game in 2021. There is always a possibility for us to surprise us again. But these seem to be far possibilities for me at least. I won't bet on any of them.
