I wonder what Liverpool will see today against Manchester City. Liverpool have had some great games like Bournemouth (9-0) or a few days ago with the Rangers when they won 7-1, as well as very weak games like we've seen a few in the Premiership this season. Stabilizing high performance is Liverpool's biggest problem this season. If Manchester City senses the opponent's weakness, they will definitely win the match. I am counting on an interesting game and a lot of goals, I bet over 2.5 goals.

Newcastle have really developed a lot so far, they don't have many star players yet but they can have a good performance. If Newcastle can end the season for a european tournament like they can finish in the Europa League zone or maybe in the Europa Conference League zone, then I'm sure next season Newcstle will really have a star player they will sign. Interesting to look forward to, I am very optimistic that Newcastle with rich owners can completely change so that these top Premier League teams have a tougher and tougher competition.

It could be that Ronaldo has missed his chance of being a permanent starter in the Manchester United 11. Assuming he was lucky today and got a goal, he would have been the number one striker of Manchester United but the club was very much unlucky .

I do not believe that Arsenal will maintain the top position longer than necessary, therefore the dreams of the gunners will be truncated soon or late. The club has tried to be better in performance but luck is on their side too, they can't benefit from that for long. As for Liverpool, they were my first choice before their first 3 matches, but not anymore. The defence is lacking, and so is the mid-field if you notice. They've lost the major spot already, nothing will make them hold top 3 this season anymore with the way they play and the improvement of other clubs.

Even if they don't make the top position by the end , making it into CL spot will be enough to satisfy me though. There is no doubt that Arsenal has improved over the years and are on the road to become much stronger team. So as long as they stay on track and keep on achieving something slowly, I am fine.

Given the form they are putting only one that stands in our way is City and it will be an interesting contest when they face each other head on.

A deserved draw for Manchester United vs Newcastle, and I saw Manchester United not playing well plus Newcastle's defense was quite good and also discipline that made it difficult for Manchester United players to break into their defense.

Agreed...Poor performance by United especially in their attacking side that cant do something special to create great goal chances.
I think the match would be different if Rashford who was the one in the starting line up instead of Ronaldo.
Next 2 matches will be harder for United as they have to face Tottenham and Chelsea.
Difficult homework for Ten Hag to find the best combination of line up for his own team to make a better performance against better opponents.

What I value most in football are unexpected results; Liverpool could be very lucky to win the match, but many people expect Manchester City to win.
I know Manchester City is in better form than Liverpool, but Liverpool is also good. I believe they have some issues that contribute to their inconsistency in matches, and I believe Klopp is doing everything he can to correct this. Although Ronaldo didn't score any goals today but it was actually the fault of the midfielders, most especially Bruno and Fred. Bruno was holding on to the ball way too much and for Fred, he didn't take his chance over the absence of McTominay and Ericsson, he lost many possessions. The Coach was actually wrong to withdraw Ronaldo and left on Sancho, Sancho was totally out of the game. Rashford came on to add pace to the attack but he missed the glorious chance to gift united the 3 points with that last minute missed header.

For the time being Manchester United is in 5th place with 16 points, 3 points difference from Chelsea, 7 points from Tottenham Hotspur.

0-1 victory over Leeds United was enough to maintain the standings, Arsenal have shown very positive results this season, although not yet half the season has lasted.
Arteta managed to make the young squad consistently win, so they were able to rank first in the Premier League.

For Liverpool based on how the teams are ranked right now even a draw can be considered a good result while Manchester City needs to win at all cost now that Arsenal has won their game.Therefore it is not Liverpool who needs to go forward and most probably Klopp has prepared the team to wait for the perfect occasion in a great counter attack to surprise City and to score a goal.The first half ended now goalless but I am sure there will be goals in the second half as City will be forced to play much better if they are in for the win otherwise Arsenal will move further away in the top.
