Manchester United maintain its winning record from Tottenham. Now Manchester United have a record 4 wins in a row against Tottenham which would be something to be proud of. Totteham even though have had good performances in the last 2 matches, but have to accept the fact that Manchester United is still the best. This defeat wasn't good for them, but they couldn't avoid it either way.

It was actually not anything to be proud of as the main goal is to get to the top this season not to maintain any win record against a specific team. Its not even a derby games though so its just a regular 3 points win from Tottenham. It kinda feels good to win this especially after not being able to get 3 points from Newcastle on the last game week

FT: Liverpool 1-0 West Ham

Liverpool have earned three points tonight after a 1-0 win over West Ham but the score doesn't tell the whole story. Nunez got Liverpool off to a good start when he headed in Tsimikas' cross. However, he still hit the post in the first half, while Salah missed two chances to increase Liverpool's lead. West Ham were awarded a penalty but Bowen's penalty late in the first half was saved by Alisson.

Liverpool have won three games in a row now but I saw them not in their best form tonight.

 
FT: Brentford 0-0 Chelsea

Meanwhile from Brentford Community Stadium, Brentford and Chelsea played out a goalless draw in their Premier League fixtures. Both sides have chances to win the game, although Brentford will feel they should have earned the three points. Ivan Toney's effort was denied three times by Kepa Arrizabalaga, while Bryan Mbeumo headed a free header straight at the Chelsea goalkeeper.

The Blues had their moment, but couldn't find their way through Brentford's formidable back line and get a point.

Massive win for Liverpool as Bowen failed to keep the score settled before the first half came to an end completely during the 45th minutes of the game. They will go away to play N- Forest next week, they will trash them if they don't defend very well.
Chelsea did well, but Brentford was well toughened up in the game both attacking and defending. Arizabalaga has finally taken back his place after been dropped by Frank Lampard.

The top of the standings is getting more exciting because Manchester United and Liverpool are slowly getting back up to compete at the top of the table, and their performance is starting to be consistent, especially since Liverpool have returned to their game although I think Mane's departure is still influential, especially in terms of attack.
It looks like Arsenal are in a comfortable position to lead the top of the table, and if Arsenal maintain their form and continue to win in the games ahead I believe they will be difficult to catch.

Until now Arsenal is consistent, playing good football and looks hard for them to be defeated easily. Manchester United victory in today's game was quite impressive, didn't expect to see them scoring 2 goals and not receiving a single goal from Spurs.

Man United fans can be proud of this record. Winning 4 times in a row means Man United is really superior to Tottenham.
However, the most important thing is to get 3 points from the match. With that points, Man United can maintain their position in the top 5 EPL standings.

The surprise was that Chelsea had to end in a draw, Brentford forced them to play without a goal until the end of the match which brought Chelsea closer to Manchester United.

But Chelsea got 1 point at least, it is better than Tottenham.  
Anyway, I am a bit surprised that Aubameyang wasn't a starter in this match. Potter prefers to put Broja as the starter. I don't know what's happening, but Aubameyang ideally is a more experienced striker. Aubameyang deserves to be the main striker in Chelsea and Broja as the substitution.

I am very much saddened that the Manchester United coach Eric tentage has decided to play Cristiano Ronaldo again from bench. With the last weekend performance of Ronaldo which was not poor I expected, I expected Eric to start Ronaldo in this big match. Ronaldo missed the last big match which was against Manchester City and the result was not funny. He would have started him in today's match.
To be very honest I am not confident that Manchester United will survive this night.

It was already Ten Hag's decision and it will likely be the same as before by making Ronaldo a substitute in the second half.
but it's interesting for 15 minutes of running time at this time MU is still quite good in terms of chances and Tottenham are a little difficult although indeed in terms of ball possession Tottenham are still a bit more.
Antony's chances some time ago were very good but the goalpost saved Tottenham.

If ten Hag decision will lead Manchester United performance to be better I don't really mind. My major interest is for Manchester United to come out best,  and I think ten Hag have a good reason why he always bench Ronaldo not to play In the early hour of the match. I think ten Hag is considering Ronaldo age not to stress him for playing long.

Liverpool is getting better currently in several matches, they were able to defeat their opponents quite well. So does also in the Champion League. This progress really enhances their performance to be much better again. In some next matches, they will probably have a higher chance to win again and make better their rank position in the EPL.

I am very impressed with Man United's game this time. Previously, it was a bit pessimistic for Man United to win over Tottenham, especially since the club is currently on the rise. However, Man United seems to have started to rise and can finally dominate the game, put a lot of pressure on Tottenham, and be able to score 2 goals without reply. The victory was amazing, and finally Man United could get 3 full points again.

This is so funny you know?  That Manchester United played very good football and defeated a Tottenham team that has been unbeaten in the League for more than 3matches now you say is nothing to be proud of well? I think you just have your opinion because to me this is the best performance of Manchester United since the beginning of this the season getting 10 shots on target, 65 % possession of the ball in the second half and winning  2:0 is something everyone ought to applaud the United team.

The three points is well deserved and I think it will motivate the team to do better against the blues this weekend, but for the record, Manchester United remains ahead of Tottenham in their history.

That Brentford vs Chelsea is something else, It was very tough, interesting and a 50-50 kind of game, both teams played like they were contesting for a trophy tonight.
Kepa performance in tonight's game was superb with a lot of saves coming from him , else Chelsea would lost that game a point and he deserved Man of the match. However, It was a good results for both teams especially for Chelsea, very much better than loosing that game.

Brentford are a pretty decent team to say the least, they really gave Chelsea a run for their money tonight, imo they were the better of the two teams and the more deserving of the three points, but against a team like Chelsea they'd definitely be happy with the point that they got.

Having said that, Kepa plays like a man reborn these days, and i see why Potters has reinstated him as Chelsea's number one goalkeeper, a few months ago when Tuchel was head coach, it felt like Kepa's time at Chelsea was coming to an end, Mendy was first choice, whilst Kepa was for the less important games, and even in such games he fumbled quite a lot as he lacked confidence, fast-forward to the post Tuchel era and Kepa is making world class saves in many games, i am happy for him, and i'm afraid Mendy might just have lost his number one position permanently.

Chelsea performance was not really impressing in the first half of the match, they played below my expectation in the first half, if not for kepa am sure Brentford will have scored in the first half, Potter should have started all the player's that he substituted in the second half, Chelsea match changed after Chukwuemeka, Sterling and Aubameyang entered the match, which by then Brentford were already playing a defensive game and their defense was strong so Chelsea couldn't break it. If Potter knew he should have started the 3 players which I mentioned above so that after securing like 2 goals he will bench them ahead of their next match with Manchester united.

Kepa performance in tonight's game was superb with a lot of saves coming from him

Kepa performed very well today, if not for Kepa am sure Chelsea will lose today's match. Even Chelsea's last match against Aston villa if not for Kepa am sure Chelsea will have lose or draw the match, Kepa have made lot's of savings that have rescued Chelsea.

True, both have been getting some best chance to make goal but it's not a good result at all caused by chelsea and brentford are still getting at least 1 point from that match. I do see how consistent the defensive player from brentford. It seems like that day is not the day owned by chelsea. I meant the players have been trying so hard to make goal but since the chance has not yet been used successfully to create a goal and there's no problem at all. Graham may disappoint with the result but he has been trying the best for chelsea. I hope that chelsea can earn full points for upcoming match.

He would be much better off going to another club and playing for a lower salary, what's wrong with that? Surely he is not dependent on a few million more or less a year. But United could still finish high, Liverpool are disappointing but have won against City. How long can Arsenal maintain this high level?

when a team play good football appreciate them, taking down on their performance will not help your club to be better. Manchester United displayed brilliance tonight against Tottenham Hotspur and you're saying nothing to be proud of. So many people are feeling doubt about MU's performance and then it has proven if MU can be a killer for all of top teams in EPL. The performance from MU is different when it was against the small club but surprisingly if MU can play so good when it was against the big club. I do believe if this proves MU has so much capability to go to the champion league for the next season eventhough if it's still at the middle standing.

Squad rotation matters and it's good to see how man utd dealt with Antonio Conte side tonight. They sat back allowing man utd do what they do and wait to play with counter attack. Man United played better defending was also good as they kept two clean sheets inna row.
David De Gea complete his 500 game with clean sheet and this is another tonight.

Man Utd is picking up pace in the league and playing everytime better. They showed today they can play really offensive football and Tottenhams defence just couldnt stop all those attacks. You cannot defend for 90 minutes all the time and expect to get points everytime.

Liverpool are continuing to rise as they have got another win against West Ham this time. It was another 1-0 victory maybe but these wins are important for them to continue recovering. It looks like their defending is much better these days as they didn't concede any goal in their last two league games. But they need to be able to score multiple goals in a game to get more comfortable wins. West Ham could have really got one point here if they didn't miss that penalty.

But in time I believe that Liverpool will get better at winning games more comfortably. They should be able to finish the season in top 3 even if they don't make it to the title.

Yes, but I believe that the first thing to do is still to check whether Ronaldo played, got substituted, or even played at all.

I have really asked myself whether ten Haag would have made the same decision when the game would have been 1-0 until the very last second. This way he could feel pretty confident to make the right decision, make everyone be quiet about Ronaldo and give Ronaldo another slap in the face.

Ronaldo is not really taking his chances, there is a huge difference right now compared to his past (which is ok for many reasons). In the past when the critics were loud he scored a hattrick in an important game and I can't imagine that we will see that again in such a manner that ten Haag would ever be forced to change his mind and obvious opinion about him.
