Liverpool started poorly this season, which is bad. There is a big improvement in their last match against Arsenal compare with other matches they have played so far. What is missing in the Liverpool team is a striker, a striker like Mane. The possibility of Liverpool reaching the top 4 is very slim. Let's see how far they can go in this season.  In football, anything is possible though

When talking about the standings, of course Liverpool still have a very good chance of finishing in the top 4 of the standings, but if they can perform even better. Honestly, I still don't believe what Jurgen Klopp's strategy is, because until now it hasn't shown any change. I hope they get better soon and get back to where they belong.
Talking about their last game against Arsenal, I am very disappointed with what Jordan Henderson did for allegedly committing racism to Gabriel Magalhaes.

Having that possibility, and actually doing it are very different things. They are playing horrible and they look like they will not be in the top 6 let alone being in the top 4 by the looks of it. Everyone talked about how horrible United has been, and even they recovered and doing much better right now, whereas Liverpool is nowhere near the recovery level.

They have been doing horrible for all year and I believe that they are not going to end up getting any better anytime soon neither. In order to recover from the current situation they need to realize they have a different style of line up now, and Klopp has to change some things for good, keep trying to do the same thing and expecting different results will not do.

I was really excited to see Ronaldo score in the match against Everton, it has always been one of my prayer points for Ronaldo to prove himself worthy of starting every game for Manchester United. Ronaldo is the best in the world and without disputing the fact that he has dropped in form joint with the fact that he is aged now and not the Ronaldo we used to know I believe he still has a lot to offer. I have always felt bad for Ronaldo in every game he sat on the bench this season. A player like Ronaldo shouldn't be sitting on the bench because even though he isn't as fit as he used to be three years ago he still Ronaldo. I was very excited to see him score yesterday and prove his critics wrong. Hopefully Ten Hag will  start him in the coming games

A valuable game for Cristiano Ronaldo and it was his first goal in the Premier League this season. I think he can score goals faster if he is given more chances to play. Whenever he's on the bench, it's obvious from the look in his eyes that he really wants to play. But it was Ten Hag's decision to let him just enjoy the game from the sidelines. I don't know what Ten Hag was thinking so he didn't involve Ronaldo much in his strategy.

Well the season is still young and with some of the injured players coming back from injuries there is a chance for Liverpool to come back. If they can pick up in the next 2-3 games then there is a chance for them finishing in top four position this season. They have better chance in the champions league also if they can get back to winning games soon. I saw some improvements in the game against Arsenal in the weekend.

Liverpool struggled with average EPL teams this season they drew most of their winnable matches that was their major problem unlike the previous seasons when they crush any team, well I agreed that they played better in their last match against Arsenal though lost that match however, the outcome of their next match against Man City will determine whether they will be a title contender, if they lose that match their points difference will be 15 points that separate them with the league leaders which will be quite difficult to close, their next ambition will be to clinch a top 4 spot.

The series of bad results suffered by Liverpool has made the player's mental collapse. Their confidence is currently at a low point. The latest rumors circulating that the management will soon sack Klopp. But in my opinion, Liverpool's management should respect it even though the Reds are currently in a slump.

I'm sure Liverpool's performance will improve again if all the players get back fit. For the title target, Liverpool may have been able to fly the white flag, but they still have the opportunity to chase tickets to the Champions League.

I think for a draw is also difficult now for Liverpool.
They have now had to lose Diaz for a long time and we know that Diaz has always been a player who can lift Liverpool's form in attack as Salah's form declines.
It will be another tough thing for Liverpool in this big game. The defense is still not improving in my opinion and obviously with the sharpness of Foden and Haaland at the moment it is not impossible for City to score at least 2 goals or even more I think.

I don't think he meant any of that, probably the celebration was just an iconic one for his 700th goal. Him knowing that this was a milestone and he needed to feed the media something to talk about then he went with the celebration. Observation how Anthony joined the celebration it goes to show that it wasn't preplanned and it just happened. Well I'm happy for Ronaldo as he has gone through alots of criticism and it seems everything was falling right before him. This goal would definitely give him some boost going into the world cup.

Arsenal has smaller teams to face and they can easily defeate those teams considering how brilliant they have been playing. I don't see them getting displace on the table anytime soon. They might probably end at the top of the table going into the international break then after the world cup, the fate of the league will be decided.

Look at how he celebrated the goal.  I only saw him do that this time, and maybe it was his new celebration. What a happiness he might be looking forward to, again making goals. His face really made him want the goal. At least he's trying to give his best for his team. Seeing that I was happy as well as sad. Sad because maybe he will soon become a legend. Its been a long awaited goal, I was happy he was able to score in that game, it is good to see him get a goal from the opportunity you had to show he could still contribute to the team. The goal was very special and judging from  his celebration it clearly shows the goal gave him peace of mind, his 700th club goal . I hope this performance will put him back in the starting eleven in the coming fixtures.

Trent Alexander Arnold at the beginning of this season often made mistakes and it can be said that his mistakes were always the same as before.

I am looking forward to watching the Arsenal vs Manchester City match. Arsenal and City are just 1 point difference. But Arsenal scored 23 goals in 9 matches, while Manchester City scored 33 goals. Undoubtedly, Manchester City are in better form than Arsenal. However, Arsenal will certainly not want to lose the top spot in the points table with a defeat against City. Arsenal will want to win or share the points. The players of both the teams are very confident now. So the match will definitely be competitive.

Manchester City vs Arsenal is a highly anticipated match in which if Manchester city wins then Arsenal will then have to relinquish their top position which might mean them losing it forever but if they succeed in winning then they will occupy the top position till the end of the first half of the season.

But judging this by the number of goals each club has secured since the start of the season it might not be enough base to conclude who has more chance of winning. So far Arsenal has built so much confidence and have this strong believe of taking down any club both in the Europa where they dominate their group  as well as the premier league where they stand top. Man city is doing same in the champions league group  but it seems Copenhagen is about to spoil their record in the group stage has the first half ends in a draw and Gomez has a red card... If this can be then City has a weak point Arsenal can capitalise on

T. Alexander-Arnold is also in bad shape, besides that there are several feuds between Henderson and Gabriel making this even more complicated for Liverpool.
It is likely that there will be sanctions if it is proven that there were racist words from Henderson to Gabriel in the match between Liverpool vs Arsenal some time ago which made this even worse for Liverpool and it was said that there was also a debate between Klopp and Henderson following his behavior on the pitch.
As a Liverpool fan this is definitely a loss and indeed if this continues I probably won't see Liverpool in the race for the title this season.
