Many people had been waiting for Arsenal's victory the day before and it really happened. Manchester City, who lost points in 2 consecutive matches, really struggled in that match because Arsenal performed well throughout the match. This actually didn't occur to me, but Manchester City's defeat means it is unlikely they will succeed in defending their title again this season.

I don't expect Manchester City to retain the Premier League title this season, that would obviously be very bad for another team that has also spent a lot of money building its squad. In my opinion, Onana's acquisition hasn't lived up to the team's or the fans' expectations. Letting go of De Gea and bringing in Onana appears to be an incorrect choice under manager Ten Hag's leadership.

Manchester United's big-money signings have been quite underwhelming, including Sancho, Antony, and Onana. In my opinion, Ten Hag shouldn't insist on playing Onana continuously; he should consider benching him for a few matches to regain his form.

Maguire must gain confidence if he wants to get out of the situation of distrust from many people and if he is able to play well like in the previous two matches then I am sure he will return to his best playing form. Erik Ten Hak must give him the opportunity to prove himself and this is a good opportunity because several key players are injured, so the opportunity to play will be quite big for him if he is able to perform consistently.

I would prefer to speculate after the transfer window opens again in January and see how much Man City has changed and if after the transfer window opens and from several matches there are no big changes, I dont think Man City will be the leader in the EPL but if after January, there were many changes that occurred in terms of improved performance and being able to provide a fairly large point difference from other teams. I believe that Man City is still worthy of leading the EPL. but for now Man City is still less stable and their consistency is declining after a very good start to the season and declining in the last few matches.

and regarding Chelsea, it seems like they have had a good turnaround, they can get 2 wins, but we have to see how consistent this team is because the worry comes when we look at the next match schedule. Chelsea will have to play Arsenal, who have beaten Man City in the previous match. If Chelsea is able to withstand attacks and can play on par with Arsenal with a draw, I admit Chelsea improvement has begun to increase.

The fact that Manchester City lost to Arsenal is a clear indication that they will be unable to retain their premier league crown season after season. I sincerely doubt that Manchester City will once again be a premier league powerhouse. Premier League teams are starting to figure out how to neutralize Manchester City's dominating strategies in every game. Currently, Haaland is playing less effectively in games as a result of Kelvin Bruyne's injury absence. Those lovely passes that Manchester City employs to score against their opponent are not being made by anyone on the team.

Apart from Kevin DeBruyne that was injured, Rodri is another Man City influencial player that was out due to Red card against Wolves meanwhile Guordiola allowed Gundogan and Mahrez to be sold thus his action had created a big vacuum in the club thus the club won't be able to defend their title this season with just few matches played they had lost two matches back.to back which is indeed a big blow to the team having considered plenty matches to be played and I am very sure they can't win of their remaining matches

Rodri got the red card in the match against Nottm Forest, not that of Wolves. He wasn't in the lineup of the Manchester City squad that played against Wolves because of the red card he got from the Nottm Forest match.

Having said that Rodri's performance in each Manchester City match is not one to go unnoticed. The impact he creates on the field of play for Manchester City mostly brings them winning in their matches.

Statistically, the premier league record of Rodri's performance towards Manchester City has it that, Manchester City have lost 6 matches out of their 16 matches without Rodri. And a total of 67 matches that Rodri has played, Manchester City only lost 5 out of them.

In Manchester City's next match against Brighton, Rodri will be featured in the match. I am expecting Manchester City to win that match.

Onana had quite a good performance when playing with Inter Milan, and one reason that makes Ten Hag really want Onana to be on his team because he is a goalkeeper who has good ball distribution skills (an ability that De Gea does not have). With Arsenal's performance since the beginning of this season I just have to give it to them that they did a very good job not minding them being 2nd on the log. Since the return of Gabriel Jesus from injury to me I think he has been at the top of his game, he still have that hunger to play and get more goals for the Gunners, it might not be coming as expected but he has been contributing to the Arsenal side.
With Napoli on the mix of getting him (Gabriel Jesus) in replace of V. Osimhen that's if the Nigerian doesn't pens down a new contract and the Gunners are also interested in getting V. Osimhen, is not like Napoli want a swap deal, they just want G. Jesus and is like Arsenal want a swap deal. Like who's this deal going to favor the most? Because as it is, to me Jesus is not really a striker but play him from the wing as a manager he'll deliver but V. Osimhen is just the full package, so to me I think the Gunners will benefit more from this deal that's if it pulls through by January.

Maguire made his first Premier League appearance of the season against Brentford, partnering Jonny Evans at centec-back after Raphael Varane missed the match through injury. Actually, it wasn't just in the match against Brentford that Maguire showed a pretty good performance. But Maguire this season has shown some better performances than last season. Maybe he is more motivated to show that he still deserves to be in Man United's main squad. Because in the transfer market yesterday we knew that Maguire was even being urged to leave. But Maguire tried hard to stay at the club. And it seems like that's a pretty good decision. Because now he is able to show that his performance is starting to improve again.

But the mistakes he often made in the previous season will still not be forgotten by anyone. But if he is able to continue to show good and more consistent performance as a senior defender who should be a role model. So of course he will definitely get his main place at the club again.

But overall, Man United's defense is still not strong enough. Their defense is still easily penetrated by opponents. And it's very sad to see that Onana is always more to blame in this matter. Even though the defender is also responsible for every goal that goes into Onana's goal. But last season Man United improved towards the middle of the season. Maybe the same incident will happen again.

Even me I began to doubt them this time around but still I think their two consecutive lost games happened due to lack of some key players like  DeBruyne that was injured his absent really affect them and Rodri that was out due Red card against Wolves his absent also affect them because is one of their important play too, this two players mean a lot for Manchester City. Even Haaland is missing because since September 16th that the played against West Ham United that he scored the last goal, up to date he has not score any goal I can also assume the absent of Kevin DeBruyne affect him due to lack of good passes his receiving from him. I can't just conclude their championship because I can say it still the beginning anything can happen. I think by now they will have realised their error and they will try to correct it during this international break.

But still it can affect their players positively because of the victory they had and also motivate their coach to trust them in times of selection, I can say it's a good start for Chelsea and wish the go home with the motivation of winning and come back to continue with it again, with this comeback I expect more win with them.

Maybe you are right. Several players were injured. As a result, Guardiola's match strategy was terrible in this match. Fans demand ridiculous stuffs from Harry Maguire and it amuses me always, Maguire has proved himself over and over again, in less than 20 starts under Ten Hag, Maguire has won over 16 games and kept cleansheet in halves, with his only performance coming against Sevilla last season. Lindelof, Martinez keeps starting league games despite awful games  and performances in the league this season.

Manchester United haven't been very convincing, so I'm definitely not going to include them on the list even though they managed a comeback against Brentford a few days ago. Moreover, Manchester United is still in 10th position with 12 points, so it's natural that I don't see them being able to provide the best competition at the start of this season.

I will include Manchester United on the list if they are truly able to maintain consistent performance in every subsequent match. Their defense is still poor where so far they have conceded 12 goals in 8 matches. Apart from that, if in the next few matches Manchester United really improves from their game statistics then I can also change my assumptions about them easily.

Its quite obvious that this seasons premier league title will go to Arsenal. I have this strong belief that they will win most of their games and i don't see them to loose any premier league game. If worst comes to worst a draw will be attained. When talking about teams that may be a threat to Arsenal not winning the title, you can talk about Man City, Liverpool, Tottenham. Chelsea is not included in this chapter, they wont see up to 35% ball possession against Arsenal in their next head to head. I think they should focus on trying not to go into relegation this season because with the look of how they are playing compared to how other teams are playing are different. Some clubs considered as weak clubs have improved so far and with problem of Chelsea finding it difficult to score a goal in almost every match i don't think they can be able to win those clubs.

Arsenal did performed really good, it was really interesting they put up such brilliance without Saka in the teams playing, just before the kick off I was wondering if arsenal wouldn't be affected by the absence of Saka as he does the finishes for them, he usually has a brilliant style of convertions and assist so not having him in the game was worth bordering over until Arsenal proved otherwise.

Manchester city did put in their very best and ofcurse they didn't underperform but I think Arsenal had a lucky day as neither sides made it easy of each other, haland did made some brilliant moves but the gunners had a defence that was formidable at the moment, at some point it was like they took note of haland and made sure he didn't get enough space to perform and secure a goal.

It was a lucky day for arsenal as Mikel Arteta finally got the record of beating all 24 English teams that he has faced, Manchester city was seen as his only challenge before now but he seem to have overcome his most challenge by beating them in his home, it would have been embarrassing if city had won the gunners in their home although city wasn't a weak team to contend with.
