Is it just me or there is an unwritten law that surprise results happen during the midweek games of Premier League.I see most games are not going as they are supposed to as I see Crystal Palace losing against a weak team like Bournemouth (of course Crystal Palace is not a big team) and Brighton is losing against Brentford so far in just 30 minutes of game play.

Let's see how the big games will end but I am sure surprise results will happen in both Manchester games and for United if they lose I would not be surprised at all considering their recent performance which leaves a lot to be desired from them.

I don't think Chelsea will view Manchester United as a lesser opponent, regardless of how they lose form. Meanwhile, this will be a difficult game at Old Trafford but in my opinion, I believe Chelsea has a better chance of winning today's game because they hardly lose when they play against strong opponents. Manchester United performance is very poor this season because I still find it unbelievable that Manchester United lost their Champions League match against Galatasaray. Onana hasn't done much to help them win But the guy is good, he's just not been as lucky this season, but if they give him more time, I think he can improve.
So Chelsea will therefore have a better opportunity to take advantage of their opportunities against Man United and Onana, as everyone is aware of the Onana issues this season and also the team lack of consistency.

The top match of the day kicks off in a few minutes. When you read these two names, you think they are ranked 1-3 in the premier league, but they are currently ranked 7 and 11... strange. I would say chelseas last 10 games have been better than manchester uniteds. Both teams play with only 1 striker and 3 offensive midfielders behind them. Although they play in manchester, i think chelsea are the better team, thats what also the odds say.

This is the type of spirit they need, although Luton gave them a run for their money Arsenal handled the storm like a champion. Now the pressure has now shifted back to Manchester city, they need to win to draw the gap between them and Arsenal. From a neutral point of view I would love to see Arsenal win because they have really invested so much in this.

That is not true because Mr arsenal was putting maximum effort not to lose against Luton if you look at the whole thing, the way Arsenal was playing was different they were so focused and wanted to win at all costs and that is what champions do and now the whole thing is serious they arsenal is ready to earn they tittle all we need is to clear all the games we have this December and clubs I fear now is Liverpool. and January Arteta needs to feel in more space to get players that are better than saka and Gabriel Jesus and that is one of the strategies that Guardiola uses he always gets players that are better than his player so any time he needs to replace a player during a game there is noting to be scared of, but of the sincere truth everyone was impressed with arsenal performance yesterday and more to come. and a lot of people did not see this coming and that was what made me happy the most, arsenal does not need to be predictable.

If not even because the gunners have instead so much this season then for the fact they Manchester city have won the league back to back and them winning the league wouldn't be interested anymore as they would make it looks so less competitive just like some league where only one wins everything and everything, and also plus the fact that arsenal deserve the last season trophy but since injury affected their team they felt out of luck and loses their focus and that's why most English premier league fans are all wishing for another team even if not arsenal to win the league.

Majority people are seriously  in support of Arsenal to win the league. Not necessarily Arsenal, but any other club that can be able to outplay Manchester City. Honestly I will not be happy with England football as a whole if Manchester city happens to win this season English premier League again. While I am very confident that another team could win the Premier League title of this year is  because, it is not only Arsenal that is ahead of Manchester city or contesting with them. There is also Liverpool who we all know is a major competitor of Manchester city. And I believe that it is them that can fight this to the end.

Manchester United's line up looks good this time, especially because Ten Hag is very confident in leaving Rashford on the bench. Antony, Garnacho, Højlund must be able to repay Ten Hag's trust in this match by playing their best game. This match will be exciting because both teams are currently very inconsistent regarding match results, but Chelsea seems to be superior to Manchester United.

It's hard to guess who will win this match, but I hope Manchester United doesn't play badly and of course winning is the target that must be achieved today. Amrabat and McTominay are expected to ensure stability in the midfield, while Bruno Fernandez must be able to support a more prominent attack until the end of the match. Højlund is yet to score in the Premier League, so I hope he does so this time against Chelsea.

Yeah the match is a bit tough for the both clubs but however Liverpool is currently leading with one goal they scored on 37 minutes of the match, but however the performance of Liverpool on this match is far better than Sheffield United because Liverpool has been the one dominating since the beginning of the first half and however if you check there possession Liverpool has 79 percent of possession while Sheffield United is just only 21 percent of possession which is very poor. So I believe that there will be more goals when they come back second half because is quite obvious that Liverpool is well prepared for Sheffield United today.

Chelsea and Man United continue to alternate different results, these teams have wins, losses, and also draws. I can't say that one team is stronger than the other. They both have more to work on this season. I think the best outcome of the match for these rivals will be a draw with more goals.

And the match will be held at Aston Villa's home ground at the Villa Park stadium, even though Manchester City are favored, Aston Villa will have the advantage because they will be playing in front of their supporters.

Aston Villa have an unbelievable record at home this season, so this game is going to be very difficult for City to win, to add to the difficulty, City will be missing both Rodri and Grealish to suspension, we are also not sure if Doku would be fit enough to play, he limped off against Spurs and we'd have to wait and see to lineup to know if he is fit and ready to play tonight.

City have to win and close to gap to Arsenal, Aston Villa want also want to win, so they can continue their incredible form at home and also climb above City, it is going to be such an entertaining game from a neutral point of view, but 3 points will be so important for either team.

I believe that the Citizens can succeed, but I think the team is tired. If it's a draw again, I won't be surprised. I have a feeling that Manchester City is not aiming to become EPL champions this season. Besides, Aston Villa is a difficult opponent for Man City, so it's better to bet on both teams to score.

Manchester City have been a bit of unlucky with their games and not that they don't aim in winning the EPL championship this season, it is something about City it's always like this but when it's few games to the end of the season you see them on fire something similar last season when they stole the championship from Arsenal. I think Arsenal should be considered lucky in their match against Luton Town. When Rob Edward as interviewed in after that match, he said he was warned how classy and was even looking for a way to find a balance when Arsenal lead with 3 goals to 2 and he didn't even know how his boys manage to equalized so fast and as soon he noticed they equalized, he started making substitutions in the end but Rice destroyed that golden moment they were about to end with Arsenal.

Arsenal is classy but the more I tried to downrate Manchester City, the more I also fear them because they are good, great chance creators and they have good skills, anything you want in that club is completed within the players. I want to see Arsenal in the top but it was same last season Arsenal lead the table.with 11 points but Manchester City came and removed them from the standing, as we progress I don't want to see that disappointment anymore.

Was that really a penalty, like, Anthony already had his tough on the ball, lost his footing before he was stepped on. I don’t see that to be a penalty offense as, the ball wasn’t obstructed neither will I say he was hindered from going forward, he already passed the ball.
Anyway, Sanchez made a good save of Bruno’s penalty and that’s a better justification.

The game has been balanced so far, both teams trying to press forward but, Manchester United seems to be having the upper hand in the game. They might likely get the first goal in the game (I wasn’t even done typing and they have there goal) but, I don’t see them keeping all 3 points. Chelsea needs to be more accurate in their passes and create clear chances for goal conversion. They just okay a little confused.

Man Utd has just got their account opening goal in the 19th minutes of the game. Since the beginning of the first half,  Man Utd has really dominated in the game and deserves the lead even after missing a penalty kick that would have given them the initial lead. I'm not anticipating much from Chelsea's side because whenever there is game between the United and Chelsea, and even though United is not inform they usually wake up and most times win Chelsea regardless of their form, However, I already bet on Manchester United to win or draw.

The way Manchester City were disappointed in their last match With Tottenham, I'm sure that they will not take any chances this time again, loook at Arsenal has given them space that they have to win atleast 2 matches to come in good place with Arsenal and they need above that to pass Arsenal but we know that while Manchester City is preparing to do that, Arsenal will have double that by the time Manchester City are coming closer. Aston Villa might be the home but I think Manchester City will dominate this match and most likely win it.

Aston Villa vs Manchester City last 5 encounters were 4 loss from Aston Villa, which means that Manchester City won the 4 matches and they draw 1 and not a single match that was won by Aston Villa even in the ones the played in the home match. This is nothing but great indication that Aston Villa are going to suffer another great loss tonight and if Tottenham try harder, they might come up a little bit.

Few days back, Manchester City were again held to a draw against Tottenham Hotspurs at the Etihad, it actually didn't seem encouraging and impressing because they're a better side to their opponent but football being unpredictable saw the ability and strength of Hotspur put to a test. For Hotspur it was a big feat as well as they as Chelsea have been able to suppress City. The City boys had an equal share of points which didn't and doesn't speak well for their position on the league table, although that doesn't necessarily mean that they do not have the ability to cover up the paces and differences because they're even more than capable to do so.

 They just have to put all in check and they still stand a huge chance at the trophy, tonight's game against Villa side is definitely a sure win for them and an additional 3 points is set to be secured. The host advantage will be in favor of the Villa side no doubt and definitely they've been doing well when they've had encounters with a few teams. I believe that they'd at least try to get a goal in their racket in tonight's game but which ever way, City's winning power is high.

This time Manchester City will definitely have harder times than last season and they saw that after the good performance, they saw from Arsenal and Tottenham. Arsenal was about to lose two points but they didn't and now they are in a good situation also Tottenham was another team we were thinking they could have a bad performance in this season because of losing Kane but they have been amazing so far.

Bruno missing that penalty awarded was obvious, he was standing so relaxed as if he won't Miss it. though Manchester united have been able to see the back of the net from a beautiful goal from the 18 yard box from mcTominay. From the start, Manchester united have been forcing the attack against Chelsea and creating chances for themselves.
Is as if, Chelsea are yet to get into the game properly, though Jackson have had some chances but they've not created enough for themselves on like the Manchester united who are on high spirit this first half.

If Manchester United had made good use of all their opportunities gotten so far, they would probably have been leading by about 3 to 4 goals. They’ve kept coming over and over as their first goal has likely given them a morale boost to go on for more.
The game is still early to comfortably predict a winner as there is still the second half to play and the game could still go either way. Good start by Manchester United. Hopefully, they could keep up the momentum and get more goals.

Aston Villa are quite good at balancing the game against Manchester City in many kind of statistics now. They have been the much closer side to score the first goal as well. Manchester City have only 2 goal attempts so far which doesn't fit a team like them at all. I was expecting Emery to make things difficult for them but this is way more than I expected. 

But I still want to believe in Manchester City to find a way to win this game. Even if they get 1-0 behind I think they will somehow make a comeback. They have much more qualified players and a manager like Guardiola. I think it must be time to end this draw streak.
