However, someone has to fail for the other to win. Since they find it unlucky or difficult to score a goal. Everton had use that as an opportunity to score two goals in the gane. Finally an ugly end to this game for Kieran Trippier. He’s again at fault for giving the ball away inside his own half which made Everton to take full advantage of the game.

Despite knowing it was an Everton home game and they are gaining back good form, I never thought that Everton would have the opportunity to play well like. This is really surprising. In fact, what surprised me most is that Everton won the game with three goals and Newcastle were not able to score any goals upon all their three short-on goals. I will say that they are not lucky in today's match. Be before the game started my thought was that if Newcastle can't win the game they will draw because I don't think Everton was good position to defeat Newcastle but unfortunately Everton won them,that is really great performances from Everton.

Only time will tell and if the status quo stands, it means that the days of woe is not yet over for the Spurs.

Liverpool has been consistent in winning their Premier League matches this season, and they were able to get a point against Manchester City at Etihad Stadium which is a good result. I agree with you that Liverpool has the chance to top the Premier League table this weekend if they win against Crystal Palace and if Arsenal draw at Villa Park.

They are more convincing than Arsenal so far and this time Manchester City is out of the equation with the lost game of yesterday night it will be very difficult for them to get back on track to try and win the Premier League,most likely they will shift their focus to Champions League and the Premier League will be a battle between Arsenal and Liverpool and any team who is the most consistent in winning every single game,not underestimating a single one kinda like Liverpool is doing and I checked the stats,they have only lost against Tottenham and every other game they have gotten points,with this I want to say that consistency is paying in the end.

Are you saying that Manchester City have dropped out of the race just because the difference between them and first place is now only 5 points? Laughs. That's negligible for a league like the EPL. What's going on right now in the top six is just something and at any moment any team can make a mistake, which is exactly what MC can take advantage of. Basically every team will experience changes over time and it is always unpredictable, as experienced by Manchester City where they suddenly experienced unexpected things, ended up with many draws and the last one which I think is quite embarrassing is that they could not score at all in the last match against Aston Villa. Although Manchester City have a pretty good depth that allows them to easily regain dominance at the top of the table by taking it from Arsenal but in my opinion if this decline continues to be allowed then it will definitely have a bad impact. Although it is too early to put the perspective that Manchester City will lose the title this season but I think this situation should be a concern especially for Guardiola.

If Tottenham got a defeat again, Tottenham never won a single match in the last 5 matches. It is very clear that they are not in a good condition, Tottenham coach must evaluate many things. Besides losing the winning mentality, one of their problems is about the injury problem. There are too many injured players, so the coach has a very limited options for the lineup. Tottenham seems in urgent to buy new players in January transfer window. They need more players to keep playing in a good condition until the end of the season.

Newcastle were every body's pick,I mean nobody would have thought Everton would win them with that margin.Everton are beginning to have my trust in them because about two occasions now that I thought they were going to lose heavily,they delivered and won the game.This is a very good result for them because with the points deducted,they need to add extra effort in ensuring they are not relegated.I think every team that meets them now will suffer before winning them because they really want to get back to the position they were before they deducted their points,and it's only consistency and team work that can make them reach the level they want to reach.

No team can maintain a top performance for a long time frame. Manchester City is no exception from this rule.
Erling Haaland had the opportunity to score a goal and equalize, but he missed it. Aston Vila plays really good and Unai Emery is a very experienced manager. Manchester United managed to win against Chelsea, but I'm not impressed by their performance. Both teams are struggling to find their style and to achieve consistency. So far, Arsenal looks like the team with best performance, but they usually start losing points during the spring. I really hope that the domination of Manchester City over the Premier League will come to an end in 2024.

Eric Halaand has had chances a few times, but it is very difficult for him to always be consistent, especially when Manchester City is experiencing a decline as a team. I think one of the biggest problems is the lack of Kevin De Bruyne in the midfield.

I think his absence is clearly felt. Also, City's situation aside, Aston Villa and Emery definitely deserve praise, they were leading the Liverpool match last week. Liverpool managed to win with the help of a little luck, but they beat City this week is incredible. Aston Villa team can now play for the top.

Manchester City's losing match against Aston Villa was not good for them and now Manchester City is in fourth place in the Premier League which is not good for this team. In Manchester City, Halaand lost many opportunities in this match losin' these opportunities he had were not related to the absence of Kevin De Bruyne at all. Maybe it's time for Guardiola to find weakness and make some changes.

Finally Everton has given one of the informed team in the Premier league Newcastle united a humbling defeat. I bet no one saw this one coming as Everton got their sixth premier league wins with a superb performance against a Newcastle team that has defeated most of the big teams in the league such as Manchester united, Chelsea and others, the most surprising thing about the win for Everton is that they played with so much pressure yet they were anle to get a second goal even when I thought the game was going to end in a 1:1 draw.

The win tonight will increase their chances of getting out of the relegation zone while they also need more wins to increase their points and to move out from the relegation zone completely.

Everton destroyed Newcastle today 3:0 and looked so easy in the second half. Was dissapointed at Newcastle they are just playing hot and cold and are bad at away games. Was expecting a close match but Everton made a big win and now got their hopes up for survival this season.

I think Newcastle United underestimated the Everton team since they have  not had a good performance this season and Newcastle being the bully to big clubs felt it's going to be a walk over for them but at the end they got humiliated by not getting one goal to record a big shame. Newcastle united may suffer more defeat as a result of this because their performance today was below average and this is a good opportunity for Everton to be motivated and get more wins that will see them out or the relegation zone I think with this performance today they can actually prove to the other clubs that they are improved.

Tottenham performance have really dropped since they played against Chelsea which they lose to Chelsea, since then, they haven't been able to win any matches, the highest they have gotten is a draw, which was against Manchester City. I am just surprised that Tottenham lost today's match against West Ham. I wasn't expecting Tottenham to lose since they are playing at home, but they lost 3 points in today's match. Tottenham played a draw against Manchester City, I was expecting them to perform better and win today's match, but they lost to West Ham. Tottenham's next match will be against Newcastle, which I don't think will be an easy match for Tottenham. I wont be surprised if they end up playing a draw or losing the match.

Man City defeat yesterday really disappointed the fans and bettors, whereas I saw that there were no problems in this team, everything looked fine, but for some reason the performance dropped drastically, 3 losses, 3 draws in all matches this season. the point difference is very far from the top of the standings dominated by Arsenal at the moment and it is possible that history will be broken by Arsenal this season to get the EPL title because from 15 matches Man City already has a very large point difference with Arsenal and if this is only because Guardiola is focused in the UCL it makes little sense because last season Man City was able to perform very well defending the title in several competitions.

If in the next match and so on, Man City returns to its best performance, I think it will probably be like last season, but if it still has a bad performance, it will be difficult to reach the top of the standings.

Because of Manchester City's performance of not being able to win matches as they ought to, doesn't mean they are not going to bounce back. What they are doing now, they did it last season by losing to small clubs nobody expected and in the end, they found their form and later won the PL trophy.

It would be a terrible thing for any club coach to think of writing Manchester City off from not lifting the 2023/2024 Premier League title. Liverpool, Arsenal, Newcastle, and other coaches can't try it because Pep Guardiola can leave them surprised by the performance and tactics his players will come up with by next year to the end of the season.

Even though I have a little doubt about Manchester City lifting the PL title this season, that doesn't stop me from in believing the capability of Pep Guardiola of what he can do. He can change the whole atmosphere of his team to become formidable again. He can fix his team even though their attention is divided to focus on their Champions League matches more or Premier League

It's been a very unusual season for Manchester city in this campaign and I don't think they have had it this bad since pep guadiola came into the team as head coach having lost 3 games and drawn 3 and also conceding a large number of goals, though they are doing great in the champions league which looks like they are more interested in the UCL more than the premier league, this season though I can't write them off  at the moment hence the point difference is not that large as to make any team give up yet. Manchester city seem to have some problems defensively because they seem not to coordinated at the back which is causing them alot of problems already.

Newcastle losing 3-0 to Everton is very astonishing like imagine Everton beating a club like Newcastle that has fought bigger teams and won only for them to meet a dying Everton and they defeated them, I just love England football due to all these kind of surprises from lesser teams winning big teams.

In Tottenham match against Westham I already knew that Tottenham will lose to Westham even when Tottenham was leading by one goal in first half I was still optimistic that they will lose due to their current drop in form and no new development for the club like injured players hasn't returned yet so it's still same old players that lack experience that's still playing their matches so it was expected that they won't do any better for now and Westham is very much in for recently so they used their energy well and they were able to achieve victory in this game.

This was an unexpected loss for Newcastle. I didn’t think they could lose to Everton but they conceded 3 goals and lost. Newcastle had things going on well for them and more or less controlled the ball but couldn’t find even a goal. They had more of the ball within their possession but could not do enough worth it to score goals and win. It almost seemed Everton was the one who was hungry for the win. Looking at how many fouls Everton players committed as well as yellow cards given by the referee.
Everton stepped up late during the second half and scored their first goal. Not relenting, they rode on the momentum and scored two more goals, sealing their win.

Managed to pull off a dramatic 3-3 draw against the defending Champions Manchester City away from home and then 4 days later lose to West Ham United at home. In the last 5 games, they have lost 4 and drawn one. Tottenham has lost 14 points from winning positions in a game since November 6. This is a fast sinking ship that needs a quick solution before it's too late.

Everton were deducted of 10 points some weeks ago, and they fell into the relegation zone, today they move out of the relegation zone after an emphatic 3-0 win against Newcastle. Everton fans would be more than delighted with how their team have responded after their points deduction, they are currently 17th, with 10 points and i think things will only get better for them.

Spurs are winless in their last 5 EPL games, 4 losses and 1 draw, they were beating by a solid West Ham team, and all the hopes that spurs would prolly challenge for the title this season have all evaporated out of the window.

 It has been settled that Tottenham are not a team to be taken seriously and I have to say they are deserving of probably a 15-16th spot on the table because I don't see how a team who managed to take the lead for the better part of first half and second half end up losing to West Ham. Not that the Hammers are not good but with their last game were they drew to Crystal Palace I expected that Tottenham will capitalize on it and net at least two goals first because they sure had their chances instead what did they do? Wasted it!
 Whoever told them that it's a must for them to score first and then lose the game by two goals? That's the same way they did against wolves and they are repeating the same thing now. Last time when they drew to Man City, they were excused over the fact that some of their players were either injured or suspended but tonight, we saw some players who could turn things around but all they could do was turn it to disappointment.

It was the most interesting and supering result I could ever see in the Premier League between Everton and Newcastle because I think Everton was not in a good situation to beat a team like Newcastle and we should not forget to get Newcastle is a team they are racing at the top side of the Premier League that's maybe a good reason to say this result was not something anyone could predict to see but Everton scored three goals against Newcastle while Newcastle had much more control over the game.

This is a shocking result and it would have never come to my mind that Everton could cover a -2 handicap and still win the game. The win alone is a big surprise, but a 3-0 is shocking as I said. I think this is quite the setback for Newcastle and they know how important all these coming weeks are. They were on a good way after they suffered that defeat in the Champions League against Dortmund. Afterwards they were able to beat Chelsea and Manchester United and now they get set home with 3-0 by Everton.
