Manchester United new coach Rangnick takes charge against crystal palace and here are todays teams.

Manchester United 11: De Gea, Dalot, Lindelof, Maguire, Telles, Fred, McTominay, Fernandes, Sancho, Rashford, Ronaldo.

Seems his maintained the same team that played against Arsenal which played above average hope they bring an A plus performance this afternoon.

My prediction Manchester United 2-0 crystal palace

Would be great to see the first 45mins of MU football under Rangnick. I saw his prematch interview and he has hinted that he was happy with what he saw in their last game against arsenal, and has not made any changes to the first eleven for that purpose. I like that he is carrying on from Carrick and not making any abrupt change yet. I really expect MUFC to win this, CR7 to score sure.

It's too close to call the winner of EPL among the three title contenders at this point in time when only 15 matches had been played so far, the trio of Man City, Liverpool and Chelsea all has equal chances of winning the league, any of those teams can flop any point by losing form in the course of the matches ahead, this bound to happen, injuries might occur to key players in the team consequently lead to losing matches because this is one the most highly competitive league in world thus let watch as more matches is played.

Although it is still too early to predict who will win the league, Manchester City has a strong chance of retaining it if they stay up until January, when the AFCON kicks off, because Chelsea and Liverpool will be missing a number of key players, whereas Mancity will only be missing Riyad Mahrez, giving them a significant advantage over other teams.

Slightly surprised to see Chelsea lose today, what happened ? Is West Ham a new strong team this season? I have to say that this season is the toughest competition for Liverpool, Man city and Chelsea they dominate the standings in turn and we don't know who will be the winner yet. maybe there are other teams besides the top 3?

west ham was able to beat chelsea last night, although in the first half the game west ham was less consistent and trailed 1-2, but west ham was able to rise in the second half, and surprisingly was able to beat chelsea with a score of 3-2, although west ham was able to slaughter the team big like liferpol and chelsea but west ham are not able to occupy the 3rd position in the standings..

Rangnick is a good coach, my wish today let his presence today as he coach the team let there be victory.  Based on experience he is a good coach and I really want to feel that in Manchester United.

Even though it's too early to start making predictions, my money is still on liverpool winning the premier league once again, Its no surprise that they're one of (if not) the best team in europe and the moment. Yes, I'm a liverpool fan so my opinion / prediction is a little more bias. Manchester City and Chelsea would be  big contenders considering they  have been adding more players to their squad since the transfer window open.

@trofo, I'm rooting for liverpool to win their second consecutive premier league title .

I'm also a true fan of liferpol, although the competition to get the champion is very tight, but i'm very optimistic that liferpol can lift the epl trophy this year, as long as liferpol plays consistently and trusts each other in the team, liferpol is able to lift the epl champion, last night i was disappointed with sadio mane, he don't believe in wrong mohammad at all, he doesn't want to pass the ball to wrong mohammad..

Ragnick can bring a same effect especially Carrick did great jobs in three recent matches.

3 points for Manchester United for a first match of Ragnick is quite possible.

In the first half, there's no goal for the match. Although Man United try to shoot the goal but nothing is success. Crystal palace is a lower team than Man United but they still need work hard to beat them. If they didnt change their strategy in the second half, They will end in draw. But, I'm not optimist with them because Rangnick has given up to take Man United to be the winner of Priemer League so for what we expect too much for them.

Rangnick will not make immediate changes because he needs to adapt to some players so this strategy will still be with Carrick because he has won before so I'm sure Rangnick will know exactly what to change later.
In the first half of the match, Crysal palace was quite strong but Manchester united still controlled it with 12 shots and 2 on target, only in the second half it was the decider whether to win, lose or draw.
Honestly I bet on Manchester winning.

He seems playing it really safe by not making any frontal changes in the squad.

and the first 45 minutes of the game under ragnick now are 0-0 despite there is several good chances that could leading to goals and a dominant gameplay displayed by manchester united , they have to try harder in the second half .
otherwise ragnick might receive an upset at his first game. 7th position is not a good spot for them approaching the first half of the season.

Maybe it's still too early to tell, maybe they are still playing under the influence of Carricks motivation and tactics, maybe it's the home advantage, but from my observation, MUFC are already looking good under this new coach, almost like he has been there for a while, great first half performance against crystal palace, but I am certain that the team supporters need goals to show for it. Expecting goals in the second 45.

West Ham has been extraordinary this season, beating two big teams, but overall West Ham's performances have been less consistent. In the last 5
matches, they only won twice, lost two and drew one. It wasn't a very good result, sometimes West Ham played badly against weaker teams.
After all, the victory against Chelsea was because Mendy as a Chelsea goalkeeper played badly and made several mistakes. In my opinion, West Ham's
first and third goals were in my opinion Mendy's fault, hopefully in the next match Mendy can return to his best form. For West Ham I'm not sure they
can stay in the top 4 until the end of the season. There are still Man United, Tottenham and Arsenal who are ready to replace West Ham in position 4.

Looking at Man United's current game they dominated possession but could not make a goal. They look more comfortable controlling the game, but I don't know if Man United will play Chelsea, liverpol or City, their mentality might be different. They know that they are facing a big club, so it will affect the outcome of the game. In the last two games Man United have not won against Crystal Palace Liecester. Crystal Palace Liecester is a great club of course Man United must be vigilant, brand pretty quickly with his counter-attacks. Until the 56th minute the position was still 0-0.

With a great playing advantage and a large number of shots on goal, United still cannot come out ahead, I hope that they will do it. It would be awful to keep losing points to rivals like QPR.

Greenwood teed him a perfect and it was just all about the placement and what a goal giving Guaita no chance to save that. It's impressive to see Crystal Palace holding them till now as well and good sign from United to hold Crystal Palace as well. Still match not finished yet, anything can happen still.

The pressure that MU has put on Crystal Palace at Old Trafford has actually been very hard, but so far, MU has only been able to produce 1 goal. The match will soon be over, not sure if Manchester United will add another goal.

and throughout the game Manchester United dominated the game because they kept trying and looking for gaps to score goals because Crystal's defense was very strong and Manchester United's development was very good and produced good results, and in today's match Ronaldo did not score.

Rangnicks game one is a win ,what a start and it was a hard fought battle by the way..had it not been for Fred this match was headed for a goalless match. And another clean sheet in the bag which are rare for Manchester United these days.

• I thought Ronaldo played like a tired player that needs rest as he kept losing his feet during the game
• Noticed that the whole team is now dropping when defensive duties call, which is good to see

Tottenham have kept the pressure on Manchester United who happen to be just infront of them by winning their games and they have a game in hand which should put them in a better position should they win all their games.

Tonight Fred become the hero for Manchester United trough his first goal in this season, usually many time Fred make an accident when give tackle for De Gea when Manchester United win from Arsenal 3-2. I think Fred playing well tonight and give nice debut for new manager Ralf Rangnick get three points and give sweet moment for Manchester United fans, still less goal created by Manchester United and I think they need to make many attempt again.

I still think Manchester United would have stick with Micheal Carrick,he was doing good job,the game in champions League against Villarreal he won.then his strategy against Chelsea getting a point at Stamford bridge is not easy and winning an inform Arsenal is not easy and such results should have earn him the job.

Good point, he was not his usual self performance-wise when I saw the match but still he was very committed. Even he is not his usual self, its great to see him contributing in a way or another and that is a key thing that you get an experienced player. Their guidance improves other players characters and confidence as well.

Now off to last match of this gameweek- Aston Villa vs Leicester, tough match as both teams are on a road to recovery after sloppy performances. It would be a thrilling contest to conclude this PL gameweek.
