I think the competition will continue even though we are just entering the middle of the season.

Manchester City really did it, winning big with clean sheets is amazing but who would have thought it was a 7-0 win. Leeds who I think can still provide resistance for City but the fact is that even City were leading 3-0 at half time but indeed, no player can make a hat-trick in this match. But with this big win, it's clear City remain a team that has a great chance of becoming a title-winning candidate. In another match, Aston Villa won according to predictions that Gerrard is the right coach for Aston Villa. Last season, because Leeds United play at high intensity and they only promoted to Premier League, they can make other surprise. If you look at the past season carefully, you will see Leeds United played so impressive in first half of season but in the second part, they played worse.

It can be because their energy were out because of high playing intensity or because other clubs became more familiar with Leeds United and found out ways to cope with Leeds United better.

I think of a second reason more and if it is true, it is very understandable to see Leeds United have less impressive results in this season. Additionally, in coming seasons, they will face with more challenge because their key players might leave their club in order to join bigger clubs in Premier League.

Actually everyone did predict Man City will beat Leeds, so it shouldn't be a surprise. But indeed Man City's big win surprised many people, because
Man City did not have real strikers, but scoring 7 goals is a very extraordinary thing. Moreover, the victim is Leeds, which has the popular coach

I believe in their next match with Newcastle they're gonna defeat them as well in preparation for Leicester 

Since Guardiola became Man City coach, Man City's game has continued to get better and better. Even though I'm not a Man City fan, but every time
I watch a Man City game I feel entertained. Guardiola is indeed a genius coach, he makes Man City play with a system, Man City's combination of
passes is really beautiful to see. So it's no wonder Man City is one of the best clubs in Europa right now, against a team that plays openly like Leeds,
Man City will indeed be easier to score goals. Next Man City will play with Newcastle who are in the relegation zone. If we look at the results of

But they had better open the gap and relieve. Otherwise, Norwich can still make a comeback. And as for the Manchester City's match, they are too comfortable as they ended the first half 3-0 ahead. Maybe they will win by a really huge gap.

Yep, the end result is Manhester City 7 0 Leeds United. What a score. Manchester City were really very dominant in this match and did not leave the slightest gap for Leeds to develop their game. Still cant believe with the end result but thats what happened!

Poor rival clubs waiting City to drop points . I have said this before, once Man City are on top, it will remains until end of season. Another EPL title in the bag. As for Aston Villa, they have been putting on a great performance since Gerrard took over. They almost beat Man City and almost drew Liverpool, they certainly made Liverpool work and there were some standout performances, Keep doing great work and hope to finish top 10 this season. Honestly Steven Gerard has something going in that Villa team, I mean he has managed to outclass teams I would say who are at and below the level of Villa with time he may be able to outsmart teams like City, Liverpool, Chelsea and Man Utd.

According to EPL it is now a record high of Covid cases among league clubs including players and staff.

My own team is already in danger. We lost Conference League participation because of this,,, and already we have 2 games postponed. If it gets worse maybe they will force us to play with reserve squad in which case we say goodbye to 6 points.

Will we ever have that no mask, no distance, no worries, no vaccination days of the old again? Will we ever go back to normal? I am not entirely sure after this one, and it is scary for all kinds of entertainment including EPL and football and other leagues.

Oh I did not know American games in USA are also all postponed,,, or some called off I mean to say. I remember they introduced bubbles last year right?

And do not worry,,, things will return to normal after some years.

In Asia we had SARS and Avian Flu when I was much younger and also we had all of this problems and quarantine and mask wearing and hand washing,,, people just forgot how it was and stopped doing all of those things. It seems only scarier now because of social media and because the West never went through it (not that I am saying Covid is less dangerous but the extra fear and misinformation is on an extreme level).

Gerrard factor working good for Aston Villa, and they are improving in league with their good play and after today win now they are in top 10 of Premier League teams now next match is against Burnley which is also good for them as this can give them some more good points in league table with Burnley current form is not good.

In other match Manchester City completely ruined Leeds United with score of 7 - 0 it's really hard hammer from them for Leeds Untied team because I was not expecting result like this, but they have no mercy for them in match and 3 goals in first half and 4 in second half completely broke their back now they need to do some hard work for next matches as its very bad for their confidence.

That tennis result of Manchester City I doubt anyone would have predicted such a score before the game.Leeds usually plays in attack but yesterday they completely forgot that were playing against a team which is a "goals machinery" if you leave them space and that is what happened yesterday.Now they have time until the Champions direct elimination stage and they were fully focused yesterday so that brought that many goals in for them.

Honestly Steven Gerard has something going in that Villa team, I mean he has managed to outclass teams I would say who are at and below the level of Villa with time he may be able to outsmart teams like City, Liverpool, Chelsea and Man Utd.

He might be able to but in the end it all depends on the quality of the players as well. The fact that Aston Villa barely lose to Manchester City and Liverpool with only 1 goal difference actually showed that the strategy actually works but because the quality of both teams are so wide then it was expected for them to lose

Anyway Gerrard has won 4 times with Aston Villa for the last 6 games lol. Thats more than what Aston Villa had achieved before Gerrard took over, they only had 3 total wins before

Aston Villa got an important win for themselves by 2-0 vs Norwich. The relieving goal came too late that Norwich could have benefited from this chance. But they couldn't. Watkins was the best performing player with 1 goal and 1 assist. But the biggest game was Manchester City v Leeds of course. And Manchester City got an unforgettable win by 7-0 in Etihad. I'm really happy for not missing this game on TV.

Leeds is really playing with fire this season. It's not just the fact that they are losing a lot, they lack defensive effort, tactical cohesion and compactness that they showed throughout the majority of last season.
If they do not change something really fast, they might find themselves in a real fight for survival.

They are lucky that Newcastle, Norwich and Burnley look even worse than them though.

Yes playing offense against man city is a big mistake even if they played defensive i dont think they couldve kept their goal clean man city are killing it 31 goal attempts and 15 shots on goal and i dont think any one could stop them.

Chelsea are going to play a home game against Everton tomorrow night. When we take Everton's current form into account, we can easily say that Chelsea are the favourite side by far. As the game is in Stamford Bridge, they have even a bigger opportunity to win. I remember the Everton - Arsenal game which Everton won by 2-1. But it doesn't happen too often for them in this season. Chelsea should be able to defeat them and move on.

Manchester city beat Wolverhampton 1-0 last week, this week they beat Leeds United 7-0.  The score is incredible, the game played is great.  They almost caught Liverpool's goal difference.  They won +7 average.  Now it's time for City to wait for the Liverpool game.  Of course, the probability of Liverpool losing points against Newcastle, the weakest team in the league, is very low.
