It's gone from bad to worse for Chelsea, Brentford have scored yet another goal to make it 4-1, I really can't remember the last time Chelsea conceded as many as four goals, I'm not sure they've even conceded that much under Tuchel's era.

Man City have also secured a 2 goals lead and that'd put them back at the top of the table.

City are now in a tough battle with Liverpool, every point is worth its weight in gold, they managed to maintain the advantage on this tour. In the next round, City will host Liverpool, it can be assumed that this match can be decisive, if City can win, then the advantage will be comfortable for them, or a draw will maintain their previous positions. But if Liverpool manage to win, then I think that Liverpool will not let to win City in the championship.

i am surprised by this result and i think chelsea will not be able to reverse this result

This is a surprising result this weekend, Chelsea returned to the Premier League, and Brentford were fortunate to get three points from Chelsea. What surprised me was the score line, at least the goals shouldn't have been that many, and Chelsea conceding four goals at home, this is truly a poor performance by Chelsea, and a fortunate win for Brentford. Chelsea must now improve and win their next match; otherwise, Arsenal may overtake them.

An upset was created in EPL match today, it's quite incredible and unbelievable that Brentford will thrash Chelsea in Stanford Bridge, the host took major possessions while Brentford did all the scorings, they also broke the unbeaten recordof not defeating Chelsea since 1939, congratulations to Eriksen for scoring his first goal for Brentford, meanwhile if Arsenal defeated Crystal Palaceon Monday they will have 57 points with a difference of two points with Chelsea, the match between the two sides will reveal who will pick the third place.

Wow, who thought Brentford could beat Chelsea at Stamford Bridge? I'm sure no one thinks so and although some of you think Brentford will win, maybe it's just about a narrow win like 2-1. But this is a big loss, how can Chelsea be beaten 4-1 by a promoted team. With this result also, Brentford can really give a shock at the start of the season where at this time beat Arsenal 2-0 and can hold Liverpool to a 3-3 draw, now Brentford is back to surprise towards the end of the season by beating Chelsea with a score of 4-1. In fact, Brentford himself came to the EPL not in a smooth way, Brentford at that time finished in 3rd place which made him have to go through the qualifying round but who would have thought that Brentford would be able to do better in the EPL than a promotion team that was above it at the time like Norwich and Watford, in fact both are now relegation teams that are very likely to be relegated at the end of the season.

Chelsea had a lot of chances during the match but I’ll say luck was not on their side this time around and Brentford took advantage of their opportunities to win the match. Hard luck to Chelsea, the top 4 spot for them will become more difficult if such loss occur again.

How could Chelsea let Brentford to create that much goal attempts and how could Chelsea fail to score more goals while they have more shots on goal?

It's being more clinical in front of goal, Chelsea had more goal attempts with poor finishing while Brentford with few chances were able to finish them, I was shocked to see that we conceded two goals just minutes after leading them in the second half, it was one of those games Tuchel got the starting eleven wrong and we paid for underrating Brentford.

1-4 as the final result, it is a shocking result for most of us, no doubt about it.
I did not watch the match but looking at the statistic of the game, it seems that the defense of Chelsea is so bad.
Brentford were able to create 17 goal attempts, 6 shots on goal and 4 of it became goals.
How could Chelsea let Brentford to create that much goal attempts and how could Chelsea fail to score more goals while they have more shots on goal?
Is it what we usually call by "LUCK"?

Interestingly, is this a random result in an unimportant match (Chelsea is unlikely to fly out of the top 4 and there is no point in straining before the Champions League match) or the result of Chelsea having a crisis due to the sale of the club? I would hope for the second one as I support Real Madrid. I think if Real Madrid win today against Celta in the upcoming match Chelsea - Real, Chelsea will lose the status of a favorite.

Manchester United fans are always looking to find a villain, it was once Jose Mourinho, Smalling, Luke Shaw, Ole Gunnar, and for about a year now it has been Magiure. When you play for a top team like United you face a lot of criticism from fans. I think that’s not fair that ex players from the 90s calling out the current United players rubbish. For Maguire to be booed by fans is not fair. United loses more matches when Harry Maguire is absent. Maguire has been poor this season, so has the rest of the United team

Manchester city remains the top of the main standings because Liverpool and Manchester city won in tonight's match, the points do not change except next week who will win then it will top the new standings.
Chelsea today sank a fairly weak game not being able to finish up front when the shots and chances were good, but it was a bad condition that affected the players.
Man United game is starting, this game without Ronaldo will there be more surprises?
 or indeed can win, I watched this match quite interesting.

Yes they need to fix their mistakes immediately before the match against Real Madrid. They need to use new tactics and pattern on the game. It was totally unexpected from Chelsea that they would lose the match in such way.

Brentford were really good actually in the game. They had lot of close attempts in first half but eventually they did find success in the second half. Chelsea on other hand were clueless while in attack. Honestly I think it was Brentford's defence which did very well to keep them out of options in attack and some clever passes and some good shots which led to the score. Brentford once again showed the form that they showed in starting matches of the season.

This result was beyond the expectations of many people, Chelsea managed to take the lead first but Brentford was able to rise to create 4 goals back and embarrass Chelsea at home. I think it will be very dangerous for the mentality of chelsea players for the next match, they suffered a humiliating defeat against a lower team.

I think it's appropriate for Maguire and Ralf Rangnick to get harsh criticism from fans and pundits of football so far, you can see if Maguire performance as a defender is really quite bad, maybe it's natural for a player to experience a decline in performance in one or two games, but not like maguire who keeps making mistakes every time he plays, according to the statistics from the 29 matches he played, manchester united has a fairly large percentage of goals conceded and even if the average percentage of goals conceded manchester united when maguire is playing almost 1.30 goals/game , I think it is appropriate for Manchester United to sell Maguire next season and use the money to bring in other centre-back, while Ralf Rangnick has also been criticized because since replacing Ole, Ralf Rangnick has not been able to improve the performance and achievements of Manchester United, his decisions are often questioned o by many football fans and observers, including retaining Maguire as captain and continuing to play him even though his performances have been quite bad so far.
