Eric Ten Hag is giving it his all and will undoubtedly bring victory back to Manchester United; winning Manchester City is a big event for Manchester United following their first leg loss to Manchester City; this win will boost Manchester United's chances of reaching the top of the Premier League table, especially with only six points separating them and Arsenal.

 

to think that manchester united can reach the top of the premier league i think it's dreaming too high, i know they beat city, but look at city not doing well in these last few games, they had difficulties in winning games even against weak teams and in some cases city lost against teams they supposedly could easily beat, so just because manchester beat city doesn't mean they can top the table, i see potential in manchester united for them to finish in the top 4 , but I don't see manchester united occupying the first place and becoming champions

i know that many manchester united fans are already dreaming very high at the moment with the possibility of manchester united becoming champions, but i advise them to be more cautious and not create high expectations, because there are still many games and city still can recover and arsenal, newcastle, will not leave the top 4 places either, I think liverpool which I am a fan of will also chase the 4 places

I'm not believing that Manchester United is coming to be at the top of the league or to win the trophy.  What I know about manchester united is that they are strong , Ten Hag has done wonderful work to strengthen the team to be at this level of performance.  Right now manchester united is strong enough to challenge any team in EPL.  Manchester United is capable of maintaining the third position in the league.  I don't think the challenge of Manchester City will last for long, it is a problem they will resolve soon .

Today should be my favorite weekend of them all as I watch how guys were defeated and talk about Manchester City. Liverpool is a unique team that would have to Imagine Manchester United defeating With City 2:1 I was overjoyed since Man City players and fans are always full of themselves and today is the day man, Liverpool lost to Brighton Allison was not fortunate this time.

Defeats for both Liverpool and Manchester City. Liverpool had already made a mess of their season anyway, but City are still in the title race and are now dependent on Arsenal's results, which could run out again, making the title very serious. But that game is tomorrow against fellow townsman Tottenham. That will be a charged duel and is certainly not easy for Arsenal. Arsenal are better at the moment but at Tottenham any team can lose if you are not careful. If Arsenal manages to win, the gap with City is suddenly 8 points. That is already quite a lot, even though we are only halfway through the competition. And City are also not the unbeatable team of a few seasons ago and may lose even more games. The same goes for Arsenal. I see united more as a fighting machine at the moment, even though it says quite a capital in the field

Losing so much at Brighton gives serious reason to take measures. Klopp is a good coach, has built up a lot of credit but the chemistry doesn't seem to work anymore within this team. I think it's time for fresh new forces and some changes need to be made within this team. If Klopp is smart, he will hand in his resignation himself and start the adventure at another club. He has also been a coach at Liverpool for more than 7 years now. It is also possible that they have not been able to properly absorb the loss of Mane and that they have underestimated it.

Liverpool have been struggling this season and I am not surprised at all that Brighton have defeated Liverpool today. Klopp has to work out with limited players he has right now nad thus Liverpool are currently weak. It will take quite some time for Liverpool to get back into usual form. This season they seem out of title race.

Klopp believes in the club and I think he will stay. I don't think that he should ditch Liverpool just because Liverpool are having problems and are performing poorly. A responsible manager would try to change that and work towards it instead of leaving and finding a next club. However, getting sacked and then finding next club is a whole different issue.

While watching them today it felt like watching my Ajax too when Erik was trainer at that time, same intensity, fast paced attacking football and pure relentless aggression.

Their game was well organized, and the players who took to the field seemed successful in implementing what the coach directed. The results were very satisfying, they again managed to beat Manchester City with a thin score. The 8 kicks they created, 4 of them led to the goal and the other 2 became a goal. Those are good statistics, because if we look at the opportunities that Manchester City got, it was very difficult to penetrate the defense built by Manchester United. This is the result that the fans of the Red Devils have been waiting for, yes they want victory against their city rivals. As we know the rivalry between the two clubs is quite high in competition.

Ten Hag just proved himself one of the best coach in the EPL at the moment.  This is what seemed at first like a impossible task, given the fact that the had to go through the first half without a goal on both sides and minutes into the second half, J. Grealish produced what many might have thought to be the only goal in the game. I literally felt the game was up for Manchester United and they had they day already but, little would I have seen that, Manchester United were still very much in the game and they came with guns blazing. 2 goals in less than 5 minutes.
The form of M. Rashford now is just so favourable for Manchester United and Twn Hag is definitely making the most of it.

Liverpool this season is not the Liverpool we used to see last season. This season they seem to be at their wits end to make their game even better, I don't even see the motivation from the way they play. What's wrong with this team, as there hasn't been much change to their squad other than Mane leaving, it's a loss that is palpable. Jurgen Klopp is usually a genius coach when they are in trouble. But the genius of a Jurgen Klopp this season is really not visible at all. Some of the players they managed to bring in didn't make much difference, I could even say the transfers they made were failed transfers.

I think so many of you people underestimate Brighton, Arsenal almost lost points to the same time not so long ago. Just check out their past performances this season against the top teams.

Liverpool have become too unpredictable, it seems that they find their game, but then they can lose in the next match, I just bypass their matches. The Manchester derby was good and maybe I would not agree with the referee, Rashford was still actively offside, but I have been waiting for the red devils to return to the top of the Premier League for a long time, so I am glad that they were able to win today. And Rashford scored again, this guy is in great shape.

Things are seriously get worst for Liverpool this season , can't just imagine they was defeated by Brighton with 3 goals today and also was defeated my brenford in their last premier league match. If Liverpool continue with this their current performance and they did not improve seriously they will never make it to top four in the table.

I don't really know the problem that Liverpool is currently facing that their management cannot identify up till now. Even to win average teams in premier league competition become something  for the team. It hard me seeing Liverpool performance poorly like this. Now their next match is Chelsea, let see what will happen because the both teams are not in form.

The midfield lacked energy and the attackers up front were less and less creative from the midfield leaving the back 4 open. Now Liverpool is in a slump. Shame to lose a game with Brighton. i hope liverpool have to buy 2 midfielders and 9 lethals to compete in EPL.

The Manchester derby was good and maybe I would not agree with the referee, Rashford was still actively offside, but I have been waiting for the red devils to return to the top of the Premier League for a long time, so I am glad that they were able to win today. It was an impressive game in which Manchester United went behind Manchester City but proved again in the second half and Erik Ten Hag was able to turn his tactic into a quick attack and that was one of their comeback.
Maybe the referee's decision was right because Rashford did not touch the ball at that time, while Fernandes only took advantage of this opportunity from the offside trap.
But Rashford is a goalscorer.

The dominance of the game was very different, Liverpool looked very non-dominant, they were always pressured by Brighton, who played quite well. I thought Liverpool would win the match, but it was still much beyond my expectations with a 3-0 defeat without reply.
It is still very difficult for Liverpool and Chelsea to advance to the top four of the standings, they are not so stable that even with other teams they can still be beaten. My assumption about Liverpool's current problems is strikers, Nunez, Firmino, Jota, Diaz but that can't be done play due to injury.

Liverpool is in the same bag as Chelsea this season,their season is over for some goals. Champions league is too far from them and i think they should start preparing for the next one or at least try and get the best possible position in the league. Liverpool needs a new midfield and fast

Manchester United showed us once again that ball possession doesn't mean everything. Manchester City played with the ball so much that the ball possession rate was like 70% for them. However Manchester United still made a comeback and beat them by 2-1. It was like Manchester United waited for the moment they concede a goal. It really fired them up and both goals came by only a four-minute interval. Both of the goals they scored were really nice and well-deserved. Because they were already able to find big opportunities to score before these goals.

Manchester United just did their thing here. They beat another big team in Old Trafford thanks to ten Hag's good system against such teams here.

Manchester United gave a good fight to Manchester city despite that the opportunity that was gotten by Rashford was not utilized well in the first half but that is football you make mistake to learn is only when you always repeat the same mistakes that you are tagged an unskillful and bad player, manchester city got the total possession of the match but the fail to defend the first goal the scored in second half which caused them the victory, the rate at which Manchester United aqualized the game was surprising, congratulationso Manchester United for a well deserved winning.

The problem that encountered by so many team who has been dominating the ball possession is when they were having very big ball possession and they forgot to defend from any counter attack that may come anytime. This is happened with city once it was getting very big ball possessions and then it was greatly affecting the intention from city's defender to go up to help the attacking line to build attack but they forgot if they must prevent any counter attack that can come anytime.
it has proven that MU has more shots compared with city, that proves that counter attack is much more effective compared wth ball possession.

Today's match between Manchester united and Manchester city was a great fight between this two clubs, Manchester united succeeded to have a 2-1 victory over Manchester city at home. Their victory started when Ganarcho came into the field in the seventy minutes of the game, when Mancity was leading the game with a goal. Though,the first goal was an offside but because Rashford didn't play the ball,he left the ball for  Fenardez to play which he netted the post. The deadlock was broken and in the next four minutes Rashford made a wonderful finishing after he got a pass from Ganacho. Right now I'm observing some coaches who look pretty bad. They experienced a decline in achievement. I see clearly at the moment is Chelsea with a new coach. Graham Potter, Chelsea were unstable during their time with him. Although at this time Potter has tried to bring in new players.

Yes this is another surprise from Manchester United their performance slowly increased after the last World Cup recorded 5 consecutive wins
Once again Marcus Rashford became one of the determinants of Manchester United's success in getting 3 points over his goal in the 82minute
I did not expect that in the end Manchester United managed to jump to the top 3 because before their performance was very bad.

The midfield is the problem of liverpool team and its the backbone of every football team, thanks to the weakness of the players you mentioned we are seeing liverpool perform this poorly, even thiago and fabinho are not like they used to be, they need fresh players in the midfield it is a priority in my opinion.

Everton lost 2-1 after leading at half-time. It's a sad situation to lose at home when you're ahead. We can say that everton under the management of Frank lampard could not give the desired result this year. When we look at their last 4 matches, we see that they have no problem scoring goals, but they are very good at conceding goals.
I can say that Liverpool lost the match with 2 goals at the beginning of the second half. After conceding the goals, they lost control of the game. Liverpool need to recover as soon as possible.
