I don't know which game will be the favorite but when you look at Arsenal it might look more interesting. Its not like with the loss in last round fans have lost the confidence but we do need the better consistency than City if we are to finish at the top of the table. Brentford are tough opponents but with a strong gameplan, I think we will be able to defeat Bees easily. We defeated them near the start of the season at their stadium and we can do again at our home. We are performing better and have added some strong players so hopefully we will be able to get the maximum out of upcoming fixture.

As for your question, the only sure owner of its present spot on the EPL table this season is Arsenal, nothing can stop them from listing their trophy judging by their feat and points already gotten. But from the 2nd to 5th positions, it could still be well contested, which is why I believe that Newcastle still has great chances. The club has done so well this season, and at this moment, I don't have my favourite team to take the 2nd and 3rd positions among Man City, Man U, Newcastle and even Tottenham.

All of them are impressive and any of the ones ahead that make a single mistake now would pay dearly for it, while the unsuspecting one rises higher.

The good thing for every Newcastle fan right now is that they haven't even spent anything at all, i know they have bought a couple of players since the take over, but the transfer fees were pretty moderate and the players were either decent/average players, now come to think of how well they would do when they actually 'unlock' their big bank and start acquiring quality/world class players; it looks like the years to come would be happy times for Newcastle Football Club.

Having said that, CL qualification for next season is key for them to allure the kind of quality players they need, right now they are on the right path, and if Eddie Howe can achieve this with the team, his name would be enshrined in their history forever.
