My WhatsApp status and DM has been flooded by memes about Manchester United defeats, they just made it feel like that they were expecting them to lose the match. And some even made joke that Nigeria electoral body were involved in the match

But on a more serious note nobody expected today's match to go the way it did, Manchester United has been doing well ever since and all of sudden this happened. Even Erik Ten Hag didn't expect this at all I'm just trying to imagine the kind of humiliation he must have felt after all the praises he has been receiving ever since.

Most scoring during the last season so far for them. regardless of anything, no one believed in the goal this much, especially with Manchester United's good condition, but in this match they didn't show that.
btw, it seems that seeing Klopp's expression towards the end, he also didn't seem to expect a result like this because this was truly beyond everyone's imagination.

Yes. This was a bad thing for Manchester United with a 7-0 defeat, and 6 goals were scored in the second half. 7 goals from 8 shots on target is certainly an extraordinary achievement. Liverpool have humiliated Erik ten Hag in tonight's game, because this is Manchester United's most defeat in history. I don't understand what happened to Manchester United not being able to score 1 goal in the game even though possession wasn't too bad.

There wasn't a single chance for the Red Devils to score, and after Mohamed Salah scored two goals after giving assistance for the third goal, Manchester United was unable to fend off all of Liverpool's attacks. with this Liverpool suppose to be a threat by everyone if they can beat manchester this way.

The fact is that Liverpool is not an average team but a big team in premier league so i am not that shock with the many goals in match because Liverpool is a club that do score and also concede but the main surprise is that Manchester united did not goals a single goal that is bad of the team.yesterday I make a commitment that I still believe much in Liverpool to end on the top four more than Tottenham and Newcastle,it because their spirit of playing is different now. Let say Liverpool is back in form with the record they set today.

This game from the beginning was a battle of tactics between both coaches and Klopp just showed Erik Ten Hag that he is still one of the best coaches in the world. Liverpool controlled the game from the beginning and ensured that they maintained same momentum entering the second half. Salah completely humiliated Martinez and Konate and Van dijk did well to keep Rashford under lock and key. Some Manchester United supporters would have felt they were almost becoming the team no team can beat, but Liverpool showed them today and put a speed bump on their race to still be contenders for the premier league title.

Gakpo and Nunez are finally coming around for Liverpool, that is something they should be excited about and Salah just became their all time goal scorer with his goals today too. Liverpool were superb, and I now have an idea what Klopp saw in Nunez.

This kind of bad result has the potential of affecting a club in the next game, Manchester United play Real Betis next in the Europa before they meet Southampton, they have to shake this of and get their head back in the game.

That's so very embarrassing, guys. 7 goals without reply is a truly fantastic victory for Liverpool. Every player was so excited until the end of the match even though they had scored a lot of goals. They didn't stop, if there were 10 minutes of added time then I think Liverpool could just really get 8 or 9 goals today.

It's been a very bad day for Manchester United

In football, anything can happen but Liverpool's 7-0 win over Man United was insane. It is a nightmare for Man United. They looked really fine before this game but somehow they played very badly and looked like a weak team. I think Man United had a mentality problem in this game and they were completely frustrated by Liverpool's counter-attack.

It would have been really sad for Arsenal if they hadn't won this game. From the beginning to the end of the match, they were under as much stress as they were trying to control the ball and score goals. After conceding a goal in minute 1, Arsenal managed to turn the match around with a goal in the last minute. Arsenal, who had a total of 31 shots and an 81 percent possession percentage, would have been doing very well for the city if they had lost points in this match.

With the condition that the advantage is 5 points back after completing Week 26, it will clearly be very painful if they don't win. Their condition leads even from the start of the season this time.
At the moment they are proving that their mentality is very strong even though it is filled with so many young players.
They are in very good condition now which of course it will be a good thing if they manage to finish in first place.

Championships are built on such little stories. Arsenal have had a lot of stories this year and have reaped the rewards of trusting Arteta. These guys really deserve the championship. One of the reasons why these guys are so good and the pace is always at a high level is the fans who constantly applaud them no matter what mistakes they make. Arsenal is now very close to being called a champion, but behind them is the top league team of the last 10 years. No matter what, a very good competition awaits us this season.

This result is magnificent, also seeing Mo Salah's face was something great, he didn't care and he took off his shirt to celebrate, he knew he was getting a yellow card and he still did it, he really hadn't seen the Egyptian like that for a long time

It was quite sentimental goal afterall because Liverpool had a rough season while Manchester United is way better in form compared to them but most people were expecting Liverpool to win especially with the home game advantage but honestly none would expect 7-0 from this game

On top of that both Gakpo and Nunez scored two goals which is great. This is pretty much a turning point onward for Liverpool as I expected them to be way better ahead for the remaining games in the league

I don't know if the United fans are still not going to react and know that Ten Hag is the only one to blame here.

I wouldnt really say that he is the fact that is going to be blamed alone because both full back were playing awfully lame in this game and the rest of the team cant really stop Liverpool from coming so yeah we had a lot to evaluate after this game but atleast we are still in top 4 which is a decent position for now I'd say

This is Manchester United's heaviest defeat in the 92 years and Liverpool's biggest win against Manchester United. United has been humbled at anfield and this goes to show that ETH team has a lot of work to do. The played well in the first half but second half performance was really poor. I could only imagine what United's dressing room looks like.

I won't blame Eric Ten Hag for the defeat,  what happened to Manchester United can happen to any other any other team. This the sane Liverpool that their performance this season is worse , they hardly win game but in today's game it was different.  Manchester United never saw this coming , football full of surprises.

I am angry at our captain Fernandes. He should have been sent off he lost his head and then he decided not to run back after a young player got past him. He complained about other players and never took responsibility and he is our captain!  He dived when we were 5-0 down how are Manchester United going to challenge for the top 4 with him as our captain. I think our manager should drop him and go forward with a positive attitude. Sell him in the summer transfer window. I cannot believe we lost against this Liverpool team like that. How could Liverpool be this strong against Manchester United? I can hardly believe it's 4-0, even 5 goals have been scored. Should I say Manchester United's mentality just collapsed at Anfield, or has Liverpool woken up from its slumber?

Where is Harry Maguire, he has to help out in defense this time and Ten Hag really needs to be able to trust him instead of putting full faith in other mercenaries. 1/2 dozen goals still possible, there are 10 minutes to go.

Hey guys, the final goal was 7 goals, it was extraordinary, we never imagined seeing this match.

Liverpool is like being possessed by a devil who continues to blindly attack good and even goals are all created by strikers and we really did not expect this final result.

I saw Manchester United losing their mentality and concentration so the defense was so weak that usually Varane and Martinez are strong fortresses but tonight they couldn't do anything.

It's great that the favorite team wins. 

What happened, this is something very shocking. to be honest, I really regret not watching the fight between Liverpool vs Manchester United. this result really surprised us, how could Liverpool overthrow United with a landslide score. and if I refer to the statistics of this match, Liverpool dominated the match. Liverpool controlled 60% of the ball possession, 18 total shots, 8 shots of target, 5 missed, 5 shots blocked.

On the other hand, The Red Devils didn't have many chances. they only had 8 total shots, 4 on target, 3 off the mark.
so, is there something wrong with Ten Hag's strategy, or is Liverpool back to form, or, as I previously suspected, United's players are fatigued due to a very busy schedule. this is interesting, I will try to dig deeper information.

I can't imagine a mighty Man Utd can easily be demolished by Liverpool in an incredible 7- 0 scoreline creating yet another record, Liverpool players were ruthless and brilliant and left Man Utd players clueless, nobody will ever belief the scoreline will hit 7 goals, honestly when Man Utd were 2 goals down they ought to have defended well to avoid conceding more goals unfortunately Erik Ten Hag couldn't change the team tactical formation to be defence minded rather prefer attacking Liverpool while exposing the team defence line after there midfield collapsed.

Manchester United were humiliated by Liverpool with a landslide score of 6-0 without reply and goals from 3 Liverpool strikers Cody Gakpo, Darwin Nunez and Muhamed Salah each scored 2 goals.
Looks like Liverpool are back to their best game and I really enjoyed Liverpool's game which is very fast and keeps pressing Manchester United players which makes Manchester United players unable to attack. And this is a bad result for Manchester United and I didn't expect this to happen considering Manchester United always produces good results in every game.

edit: Lol.. the score was 7-0 and the last goal from Roberto Firmino in the 88th minute.

This is just like a nightmare to me right now, because I'm one of those who predicted Man-U will win today's game, and unfortunately, I'm damn shock beyond anything only to check livescores.com and see 7-0. Liverpool must have played beyond expectation and I feel very bad now that I wasn't opportune to watch this game. Because by this tremendous success tonight, its a sign Liverpool is fully back on track, and all thanks to couch "J. Klopp" as they stands to be on the 5th position with 42 points ahead of Newcastle city.

What a nightmare for Manchester United, this is the worst loosing of the season, they where outclassed today by the Liverpool team, lossing 7-0 what a lose I don't think the players can even sleep tonight, there dream of being in the title race just died, because winning Liverpool tonight won't have put more pressure on Asernal and Manchester City, but now the title race is now between man city and Arsenal. And tonight win is a very big win for Liverpool that means then can still qualify for the top 4 this season, what a game Manchu United never saw this coming.

Rashford was the only player that looked good today and continued to try after we were 6 goals down. Our back line was awful and they should be held responsible for most of the goals. Liverpool did not play good they got some lucky goals and they got some goals that our defenders should be defending. Martinez needs to be coached to not lose his composure because he is our best player when he has not lost his temper. Luke Shaw is the most experienced but he could have got sent off. I like the passion but we could have got a red card and affected more then just this game. The only positive is it is 1 game and we will finish above Liverpool any way.
