Manchester united fell apart against liverpool. Nobody expected such a defeat when they were doing so well and everything was working for them. I mean, I would have laughed if someone had told me this game would end 7-0. 7 goals. Unbelievable, especially when united were in such form. It's a very, very bad result for United. With this result, they've lost the championship race.

I'm still in shock, I can't believe the scoreline. Liverpool is going to savour this moment because it's not every time you get to see such a scoreline. This would gone down as Manchester United's worst performance under ETH. I don't really know where to start to a portion blame for today's lackluster display, the team needs to take the blame, it was a really poor game especially the second half. They really need to shake off this defeat and focus on their midweek europa game against Real Beatis. A win would help to sooth the pains they have inflicted in the hearts of the fans.

I just pray this this game does not kill the self esteem of Manchester United if not it might make Manchester united to lose their upcoming games. The goals from Liverpool are massive,  it is as if Liverpool just want to pour all the annoyance on Manchester United for all the games they have lose this season.  Liverpool played very perfect .

Manchester united was humiliated today by Liverpool, most people believed Manchester united will win since they are in form, but Liverpool suprised everyone, I was impressed by Liverpool performance today, the match was a easy win for them, with Liverpool current performance, I don't believe Liverpool will be able to score 7 goals against any club for now. Congrat to then at least they are now in 5th position on the table and Tottenham is ahead of them with just 3 points, am sure Liverpool will try there possible best to take the position from them.

Agree. I'm surprised, I don't think Man United will be defeated with 7 goals and they even can't score a single goal. Everyone knows that Man United performance looks impressively lately, they even almost overtake Man City in 2nd place. But this defeat shows us that Man United still can't maintain its best form. Ten Hag must evaluate what is happening with Man United. There is something wrong with the tactics or the players' motivation.

Liverpool did not play fearlessly they did not even play good. Manchester United played the worst I have ever seen them and it is probably because we recently won a trophy and have been playing a lot of games more then Liverpool. I wish people did not get carried away with Liverpool winning 1 game when they lost 5-2 against Real Madrid. Liverpool are not any thing special and have been 1 of the worst teams out of the big teams and nothing will change. They will probably lose a lot more games then Manchester United in the remainder of the season. Manchester United have a chance to win trophies and that is the difference between us and Liverpool.

I can feel the pain in your words   But in general, I agree with you - this is a separate result that will not change much in the overall picture of the whole season: for Liverpool this is definitely a failure, but for United a step forward. From now on the things I'm curious about the most will be what Liverpool will do in their upcoming matches and how much Manchester United will be affected mentally by this result. As for Liverpool they are a very unpredictable team in this season. Even while they are having a bad season they have a potential to destroy a big team in the league like in this example.

Liverpool are unexpectedly coming back to compete for an ECL position, as they are benefiting from the fall down in Newcastle United's performance in the last matches. At the start of the season, we thought Newcastle could go far in the competition, but they seem to be missing the persistence that defines big teams like Liverpool.

It's just embarrassing. I honestly did not see this coming. I expected it to be a close game of long term fierce rivals but it turned out to be like a training match for Liverpool. Manchester United were awful. How can you be 1-0 down to your fiercest rivals and your laughing at halftime. That was a hall of Fame performance in terms of awful performance. Unbelievable! Ten Hag too was clueless.

Sure he was, Ten Hag was indeed clueless and I didn't see anything he could have done any different tio avoid the way the goals where coming. Liverpool just punished them with every mistake they made, every counter attack, literally every attempt towards goal produced a goal. Very disappointing for Manchester United and now one could have anticipated that. I mean, it would have been more easier to predict a Manchester United win over Liverpool but the opposite was the case and even worst still was the goal margin. 6 goals in second half, that's hilarious for Manchester United. Considering tonight's match is Chelsea vs Leeds it will be in doubt again whether Potter will win or if they are back to showing a bad performance even though there has been a lot of criticism for him but I don't know if tonight will be a Chelsea win after the two previous defeats and the rest draw.

Remember that Leeds at home beat Chelsea 3-0 to nothing and now they meet again Stamford Bridge this should be revenge for Chelsea but I still doubt it for Chelsea's performance now.

Glad your doubt was cleared as we didn't only win Leads United but we kept a clean sheet while recording for so. Clean sheets and wins has been something Chelsea weren't doing for quite sometime but it seems like this might just be the beginning of a new story for the club. Yesterday game wasn't only about Chelsea winning but the way we played showed some improvement in the squad and the boys wanting to play for the management. I still have some worries and that was in the substitution.

Those players Graham Potter brought on were good players but it seems they were brought at the wrong time so they had no impact on the game excluding Gallagher that was super active. Players like Havertz that was still playing while others players having a good game got removed got me worried for a second there especially when Leeds united started pressing our defense, looking for a goal to steal the point home.

There is nothing to be surprised about Manu's performance today. Manchester United isn't in form they fact they have been winning games back to back in time past doesn't mean they are in form. If we check their previous games where they won we see that they lack ball possession in most of those games. I was expecting a big humiliation like this although not from Liverpool.

Liverpool exposed the weakness of Manchester United. It is only luck that has pushed Manchester United to the top 3 position in the table and not their form. I think other big teams will get enough motivation to expose united weakness further.

In the other match of the day we watched Forest vs Everton. everton played well and were more dominant in the first half. The first half ended 2-1 with everton's superiority. In the second half, forest played more dominant and found the equalizer.

Actually, I'm not sure who to blame in this match. This was unexpected given Manchester United's consistent performance for quite some time. Liverpool is truly prepared for the battle of the top four, and they have extended their dominance by handing Manchester United, a team in top form, their worst defeat of the season. Football is very interesting to watch, especially considering the score lines of matches played between Real Madrid, Barcelona, Liverpool, and Manchester United in such a short period of time. No team should be underestimated, and the unimaginable can happen at any time.

In this condition, I actually think there is no need to blame each other because this will only lead to divisions later.

in the second half man utd's performance was very chaotic, and the counterattack that liverpool made was very effective (liverpool successfully scored 7 goals from the 8 "shots on target" they made). I read in the news that Salah become the most goal scorer in Liverpool history. Since I didn't follow the match, I thought that he simply scored and the result might be a draw but 7 goals scored by Liverpool vs 0 for ManU is beyond my imagination lol.
That might be a silly joke to tell. ManU who are in their best performance since years, lost vs Liverpool who are in their worst season. Barcelona's game was kinda stale in comparison to the game between Liverpool and Man UTD as we got to see the Red Devils collecting a 7 dose package home and losing a vital three points and according to Ten Hag, they didn't see this one coming even if they've been long standing rivals.
 This win has pushed them up a point away from Newcastle to seat at the 5th place and if they want to make something for themselves before the season ends, I think more effort and coordination like this would be needed.

Liverpool are indeed getting back up after the last few matches got positive results and that made the mentality rise again and the results were able to beat MU with a big win. M.Salah has started to find his sharpness again and Nunes' performance in the last few matches has begun to blend in with his team. Am really disappointed in Manchester united performance, I mean they did not only loose this game, they lost in a very horrifying way, I mean they just looked like confused babies in the pitch not knowing where to go or what to do and to think that this the same Manchester united that removed Barcelona in the Europa league. Ten Haag really needs to straighten up his boys ahead of their Europa league against against another Spanish side (real betis) because this lose they acquired today will really affect their performance.

The most fit team of the season conceded exactly seven goals from the most formless team. Everything started with Gakpo's goal before the end of the second half. At the start of the second half, they surprised Manchester united by scoring a quick goal. Then, as Manchester united tried to score, as they attacked, they scored from the counters. Tactically it was a completely fail game. It was the Manchester United side who played better in the first half until they conceded the first goal, then it is hard to understand how they were upset with a goal they conceded in such a short time. Liverpool played a flawless game.
