I think that you shall also try to take a look at the performance of liverpool. If you are making it into the trend line and then it's always going up. The performance from liverpool at the early season until the middle of the season was quite disappointed for its fans but liverpool was slowly giving a good results on its trend line. It's always increasing slowly and new player like nunez and gakpo can adapt to the club now. Don't you remember that some clubs were able to make miracle in the past like chelsea?

It was the big defeat Manchester United have ever had in the Premier League, I watched the whole game and like you said hoping it will be a balanced match but still hoping for Liverpool to win, although never thought their 3 strikers would score two goals each and one goal scored by Firmino made them win with a landslide score, no player on Man United's side could lead his team-mates well, while still three goals behind, the hope of being able to provide resistance was still visible but Liverpool's fourth goal ended all hope.
