After Liverpool's demolition of Manchester United last weekend coupled with their good results in recent weeks, I was one of the people who thought they were seriously going to fight for the 4th place position. But I had to have a rethink earlier today after they were defeated by Bournemouth while Tottenham won against Nottingham Forest. That defeat I think has shattered any hope of Liverpool finishing in any spot higher than 5th position at the end of the season. And if they play with the same tempo they played earlier today in midweek against Real Madrid, they'll suffer a more severe defeat than the one they inflicted on Man U last weekend.

The game of football is full of surprises. Who would have thought Liverpool would test defeat in the hands of a 20th placed team on the table. This is the very same Liverpool that shipped in 7 unreplied goals against Manchester United... Isn't football crazy? Manchester City on the other hand, were able to seal a win with a late goal to keep their title hopes alive. Arsenal's tomorrow game against Fulham, I think Arsenal would win, their goal has always been the PL and they have pretty good records against Fulham. United's last EPL outing ended in great pains, they need to give something back to their fans, they were really fantastic during their midweek europa tie against Real Beatis, would they be able to replicate such performance? Let's hope so.

In the EPL table, the points keeping Arsenal ahead from Manchester city is just a difference of two, Arsenal will need to beat Fulham in other to continue to stay ahead, anything else outside a win, they risk loosing their number one spot to Manchester city.

And yes, the game of football is indeed full of surprised, and this surprised always show up when we least expect it, Liverpool losing to a team placed far back in the 20th position in the table ranking is surprising I must admit...
But my prayer right now is that, this kind of surprise must not happen in tomorrow's game between Arsenal and Fulham, if Arsenal, for any reason should lose to Fulham, it will be a great disappointment, not just another surprise.

Fortunately, Haaland's penalty managed to get them back to securing points, but with the condition of the players and with their performance, this is very unfortunate with their full dominance, but they could only get 1 point in this match.

Didn't really know why Manchester City had such a hard time for a game that was supposedly a smooth win right from the first half but, they just couldn't manage it until they got lucky with that penalty and E. Haaland wasn't going to waste his chance to be the hero and add to his goal counts.
Crystal Palce didn't have a shotom target but they came really close to scoring with that Zaha's cut back, minutes before the final whistle went. It was just a question of positioning which, no one was in place to engage the ball and it was easily cleared off by the Manchester City defence.
The win for Manchester City was well celebrated, a one goal win and you can see what that did mean to them. They do want to let Arsenal have a lot of points gaps between them no more.

I saw the match before it started and I said that the team that scored 7 against Manu will lose to this team, and they really lost to the team that struggled, it really shows what kind of sport football is, especially the premier league. Everyone says the premier league is very good because it is so uncertain, okay it adds pleasure to football, but it is not really a good thing, what has changed, for example, what happened in 1 week, the team that scored 7 in the manu could not even score 1 goal. Arnold has great offensive power but is just as bad defensively. The defensive line is incredibly problematic, neither Konate, nor Gomez nor Matip could partner with Van Dijk in terms of quality. Maybe Konate may evolve to be the right partner over time, but we're past the middle of the season now. This year will be managed with the least loss, but I hope Liverpool will make a top-level defender transfer next year. The same problems exist in the midfield.

Many thought that Liverpool recovered when they won with 7 goals vs ManU and I warned that doesn't mean anything since ManU made a lot of mistakes and they aren't performing as usual. Liverpool's defeat by Bournemouth is a major setback at the moment, as they are fighting to at least go up to the top of the Premier League. They were in a happy mood last week after beating Manchester United. Yet, it appears like a bad day for them today.

It was really nice to see Chelsea finally getting a comfortable win in the league. It has been a long time since they got such win the last time. They are a really interesting team I mean. They are actually really productive about creating so many goal opportunities. But the problem has always been with finishing them up with goals. Yeah, it would be an interesting one to watch. Manchester United would want to move on from the somewhat still fresh and humiliating defeat. I think they might probably go all out to make sure they win the game.
I personally think, with their current form, they would win the game without much hassle cause I don’t see Southampton being that much of a threat. I do hope Manchester United wins the game. They desperately need it to recover from the defeat they suffered.

It's really not necessary to blame a team for losing in a match, because every team always tries to give their best in the match to get better results. Their problem remains the same when facing small teams, which is that they are too preoccupied with attacking so that when they counterattack they fail to anticipate it because the players are too far ahead.
This happens a lot for them when they are engrossed in the attack and of course this is really bad even though the momentum they have had in the last few games but it has to be cut back.

Blaming the team is just a common thing, and that thing is not disallowed. Anyone who hate their multibets got stopped due to the betting into the wrong club will be also feeling disappointed. Liverpool can tell salah to do better penalty for the upcoming match if livepool get another penalty. The performance from liverpool looks impressive. It's always acquiring the ball with so many shots being made, but many of them are off from the target. So many liverpudlians were also blaming liverpool for the poor performance against bournemouth. Burnemouth has been trying so hard to leave from the relegated zone. That's the same thing like what happened with bournemouth was facing chelsea before. many might have lost the bet because this defeat should have been in the wind Liverpool could win this match easily considering the victory against Manchester United yesterday but the final result was quite disappointing for many people and Liverpool was beaten by a bottom club and was not seeded, that's really embarrassing.

Liverpool could make at least a draw against bournemouth if salah was not shooting like that. Where is the fact salah shooting the ball? It's clear that if liverpool could better get a replacement for salah to execute penalty. It may sometimes a mistake but i think that anyone was also aware of how bad the performance from liverpool. I prefer to see that nunez was playing since the game started rather than firmino.

Firmino is not as good as nunez played in LW right now. Klopp was also feeling so depressed caused of this bad result. Even the result from the last match was making klopp admit that bournemouth was a strong team.

It's liverpool who has been played so bad against bournemouth and it's not bournemouth was strong team.

By the way Manchester City have already won their game against Crystal Palace. Maybe it wasn't a comfortable win considering the final result. But getting three points was the most important point eventually.

Now Arsenal players will be under pressure a little for getting a win tomorrow. They have dealt with this pressure very well in general so far. They should be able to do this against Fulham in an away game as well. Because their job won't be too easy as long as Fulham stay strong against them. But I still think Arsenal will be victorious by playing just like a team fighting for the league title.
