The statistics looks wasted indeed because from 27 total of shoots none of that even became a goal but i have been watching the match in the first half and Chelsea have put in a lot of efforts to scores but i don't know why seems Aston Villa can predict it and anticipated Chelsea attacking strategy and Chelsea actually gets good opportunities by Mykhailo Mudryk but unfortunately he cannot utilized that opportunity but do not forget about Martinez performance too because in my opinion he was performing well to guarded Aston Villa defense

However Aston Villa were playing very effective that they didn't need many touches of the ball to put Chelsea defense at risk and they just needed a quick counterattack to scores goals and defeated Chelsea and after this lost Chelsea position are down to 11th and apparently they have to forget to play at european competitions for next season

From what I can see 50% of the 27 shots are weak shots or low accuracy so it means nothing to the defense and the goalkeeper
While Aston Vila does rely on counterattacks with high accuracy I still remember how they scored the 2nd goal
Chelsea have conceded 4 goals in 2 matches which means the defense is very weak.

I'm really disappointed with the change in strategy that Graham potter made. in fact the Chelsea players were comfortable with the previous strategy. like against Leeds, Leicester, Dortmund and Everton. we can see Chelsea players playing comfortably using a 3-4-3 formation. and suddenly now in the match against Aston Villa it seems that Potter wants to experiment a little with a slight formation change to 3-4-2-1. and it is very clear even ineffective. somehow Potter didn't seem to realize that the only drawback to Chelsea's form was the back line. so instead of being changed to 3-4-2-1. why doesn't he use the same formation as in the last 4 matches where the results are quite good. I understand Potter is using formation now in order to balance attack and defense. but the weakness is that when a quick counterattack is carried out by the opponent, Chelsea's defense will become easily penetrated.

This is clearly a mistake by the Chelsea's players since they're having high ball possession and many shots to target, but they're still not able to score any goal and get beaten by Aston Villa. Many people say Cucurella is one of the best left back player, but he keep made many blunder. Mudryk, one of the potential good striker from Ukraine, haven't contributed anything due to his selfishness.

Despite Haaland didn't play, Manchester City can score 4 goals to Liverpool, it's proven if Manchester CIty is already strong without Haaland, Haaland is just make Manchester City better.

Nice to see Gabriel Jesus's performance came back like he was in beginning week.

I've seen that Chelsea game once again, I watched the highlights of the game only for me to see that poor communication between Cucurella and Koullibaly, though I'll put the blame on Koullibaly because he was the last man standing in the backline, he should learn to calm down and read the game. I wonder why some players would stay so long on the pitch.
Chelsea wasted too much of them chances so I knew they was going to get the game hardtop win, World Cup goalkeeper did make some wonderful saves.

Manchester City are Undisputable, last season without Haaland they won the Premier League so I don't really sre any big deal. Mahrez should have been my man of the match.

Don't even mention it, the Chelsea of yesterday was a big disappointment and I believe it's time that Graham Potter leaves the club. There is no more excuse for him with the last match against Aston Villa, it shouldn't be that bad, not even a goal scored, to the point that Villa was the one that scored twice. yeah true Manchester City still have a chance in the title race this season. although the current difference with Arsenal is quite large, namely 8 points. but Manchester city still has 1 match postponed which they can use to add their points and reduce the difference in points. but on the other hand this week seems to be a bad week for both teams in the Premier league namely for Chelsea and Liverpool. because this week these two teams suffered defeat and also had to be willing to drop their ranking back in the standings. The first thing that i have seen is reece james changed to the RB. WTF was going on with potter. Im so angry now. Chelsea defenders are always very often making blunders that were making the club to get lose or draw. That's bad result that keeps repeated by club anytime.

i  will have a different approach concerning this matter had it been there was anything wrong with chelsea current squad, but yet I don't see nothing except a team of Lions led by a sheep.  No doubt, Chelsea will have to pay a huge sum of money to get reed of Graham Potter in order to terminate his contract.  But I am sure this isn't the reason he is still in the club after a long term incompetent performance he has had ever since taking over. Liverpool were never capable of winning Manchester city, not when Manchester city was playing with their old formation that dominated the premier league in the past and also Liverpool hasn't been in form this season, they have been in the poorest form since their coach took over the club. Liverpool hasn't been consistent in their wins and their top players hasn't been in form this season.

From that game it seems Manchester city plays better when their top striker isn't in the squad because I don't believe the game would had been that easy for Manchester City if he was playing. They would have been playing to get E.Haaland on the scoreboard but as he wasn't in the squad they played their old style.

A first goal for Liverpool is a very successful counter attack from them and Mohamed Salah again shows his skill. However, it's not enough for Liverpool as Manchester City actually have better players and better form. Impressive to see Manchester City won big without Erling Haaland in their squad. It is a good preparation for the club and Haaland before a big match with Bayern Munich in Champions League.

That's was a very frustrating result for Chelsea fans, im not really expecting many things from this team in the champoins league after seeing their preformence against Aston villa, with more than 25 goal attempts Chelsea team wasn't able to score a single goal this clearly show at which point this club forwarders are out of concentration, i wonder how their preformence with real Madrid will be

Both man city and arsenal won their matches against Liverpool and leeds with 4 goal to one, the two clubs are surely not going to lose their focus on the trophy especially for arsenal because they already lost everything, so it's very clear that they will put all their efforts in the premier league and they will definitely try hard to extend the gap before the direct match against man city

Chelsea did had a very long bad streak with serious difficulty to score goals. They ended it around a decisive match with Dortmund at Stamford Bridge in Champions League round of 16. They suddenly scored two goals in that match and won over Dortmund to be eligible for quarter final. In Premier League about 6 or 8 matches, they only scored two goals in all those matches. Dortmund were very unluckily to be victim of Chelsea.

Chelsea management may look for a new coach next season. As Potter was unable to succeed after being in charge for a full season. A change of coach next season will add to Chelsea's attacking talent in seven. Otherwise, their performance will not improve.

Potter with this week defeat only shows that he is really deserved to be sacked by Chelsea. He can not show any good signal that he will be able to improve Chelsea in future including rest matches of this season and in a next season.
