Disappointing result from Graham Potter again, just when everyone was thinking things have finally turn around for better after a long run of struggling to get back their form they concede yet another embarrassing defeat to Aston Villa, Villa won by a 2 goal margin and move up to 9th position while Chelsea drop to 11th position.

If you look at these statistics, 27 shots, 8 of them hit the target. Ball possession is at 69% and they lost this game.  Sometimes it doesn't happen. No matter how hard you try, it doesn't work if you're not on a good day. I think that's exactly what Chelsea went through. They had a completely unlucky day against Aston Villa and lost 2-0. Potter is once again testing the patience of the fans.

I'd say it's a shame for Chelsea that after 27 shots they couldn't score. I wouldn't say Aston Villa's defense was too strong. Even then, Chelsea was not able to break Villa's defense with 69% ball possession, 27 shots but they could not score a single goal. From this, the weakness of Chelsea attack is quite visible. I wouldn't say that Chelsea's match strategy was good either.

Chelsea management may look for a new coach next season. As Potter was unable to succeed after being in charge for a full season. A change of coach next season will add to Chelsea's attacking talent in seven. Otherwise, their performance will not improve.

That's was a very frustrating result for Chelsea fans, im not really expecting many things from this team in the champoins league after seeing their preformence against Aston villa, with more than 25 goal attempts Chelsea team wasn't able to score a single goal this clearly show at which point this club forwarders are out of concentration, i wonder how their preformence with real Madrid will be

I'd say it's a shame for Chelsea that after 27 shots they couldn't score. I wouldn't say Aston Villa's defense was too strong. Chelsea did had a very long bad streak with serious difficulty to score goals. They ended it around a decisive match with Dortmund at Stamford Bridge in Champions League round of 16. They suddenly scored two goals in that match and won over Dortmund to be eligible for quarter final. In Premier League about 6 or 8 matches, they only scored two goals in all those matches. Dortmund were very unluckily to be victim of Chelsea.

Chelsea management may look for a new coach next season. As Potter was unable to succeed after being in charge for a full season. A change of coach next season will add to Chelsea's attacking talent in seven. Otherwise, their performance will not improve.

Potter with this week defeat only shows that he is really deserved to be sacked by Chelsea. He can not show any good signal that he will be able to improve Chelsea in future including rest matches of this season and in a next season.

If Arsenal must win the title they have to maintain a winning streak down to their second to last game for the season because Mancity still has one outstanding game to play which will close up the gap to 5 point difference and could be dangerous if Arsenal losses any game.

Up next should be Arsenal against Liverpool and City against Southampton, City has an easy opponent but Arsenal will have to meet Liverpool at Anfield, it has to be a win for Arsenal so they can keep their point difference else they will have to narrow their chance of winning the title.

I suspected that Emery would give Potter problems, as he is a very strong coach and he once again proves that it is better to have a good coach in an average team, than a mediocre coach with the best players. I don't know how they did it but look at the stats, Chelsea got 27 shots out of them 8 on target, had 69% possession and didn't score a single goal, and Aston Villa took 2 shots on target and won 0:2.

It's very frustrating for the chelsea fans. I do feel what they have been feeling. It's not only for chelsea fans but anyone who picks chelsea during the match against aston villa must have felt the same thing too. I meant chelsea was performing so badly and potter was making it even worst by wrongly substituting some important players who have been contributing a lot. It's a shame for chelsea to lose against aston villa while it's a weak team. Potter is always having poor tactics and i don't even know the way he was thinking about substituting the players.

He was always making some wrong choices by replacing the players with another one which was having a different position. Just like when he was substituting a defender with midfielder while there are still many midfielders already played.

What's the purpose of this substitution? i can't even understand what meant by potter was doing it. It seems like that chelsea needs to find a new coach as soon as possible. Potter is so horrible as a coach.

Liverpool no longer have the enthusiasm to try on the field because it looks like Liverpool have lost their last few matches and because of problems that have made their score disappear, they are lazy to play full again.
Liverpool just want this League to finish quickly and try to get back up next season.

yes, that thing can happen. but I still see that Manchester United will likely still be superior even without Casemiro's presence on the field. but the problem is that some Manchester united players are also not in good shape. several Manchester United players also suffered injuries, although not too badly. but it can interfere with the team's overall performance. Football is full of surprises, previously we knew that Liverpool beat Manchester United 7-0 without reply and in last night's game we saw Manchester City beat Liverpool at the Etihad Stadium with a landslide score of 4-1. Even though I thought this match would be very exciting, even Mohamed Salah scored the opening goal for the Reds' advantage.

But indeed, this advantage made the Manchester City players even more motivated to turn things around and sure enough they immediately scored an equalizer in the first half before closing with an additional 3 goals in the second half. Even though Manchester City won they still have a distance of 8 points from Arsenal and this will be a tough competition in the following weeks.
