This is a hard struggle for both of them to continue to maintain their position, Newcastle United will continue to fight hard to stay in their position and so will Manchester United where they don't want to lose to keep fighting, maybe they will target to return to third place, besides that the difference in points between the two is very short, the remnants of the next matches are very important matches for both of them.

I'm not seeing Newcastle relinquishing sooner,..if man UTD thinks they deserve the 3rd position, then I think they should work towards getting it.
As for Tottenham, they're really struggling.... there's no certainty on their improvement (though they've been trying Thier best this turn), I think they haven't still got what it take -- not to go up, but to stay up.

Liverpool could have still been in a fight for the fourth place in the standings. But now they are already ten points away while we are closing in on the end of the season. It is very difficult for them to catch up with Manchester United there from now on. They might have a chance for the Europa League at least if they maintain a winning streak for a long time if possible. Because they have a missing match to play later on.

However their upcoming matchup is pretty challenging for them. They are going to host Arsenal in Anfield. People can show their huge victory over Manchester United in this stadium as an example maybe but this isn't an incident happening much often. Plus Arsenal are running for the league title now. While Liverpool are far away from their goal in the league I think it is just the right time for Arsenal to take advantage of it.

10 points are a little harder now for them but looking at their schedule in the remaining matches, only Arsenal and Tottenham are left, which is quite troublesome, the rest are several clubs whose level is below them.
But in this case even like that, for Liverpool it is still difficult if they are still doing the same performance as now which is always unexpected.

I guess Manchester city will be prepared for this match like never before since their are just few matches away from the end of the season and need all the winning their can get so as not to drop further in point which can hinder their chances of clinching to the 1 spot this season, because Asernal who is still topping the season is bent on walking away with the trophy this season.

 Manchester city is the defending champion of the premiere league any ways but since the beginning of this season Arsenal,, on the other hand has dominated the premier league right from the start of the season up til now the season is just less than 10 matches to finish for them.

I agree with you on this one, Newcastle games has been a glorious outcome in their few played matches, their come back on the top 3 is a very condeble job but I think they need to push hard even though they are ahead of Manchester United, other teams will be having this phobia anytime they have match with them, I never even expect them to quicly climb back at the standing of top 4.

For Liverpool it seems difficult to reach the top four or five positions in the standings and it is very unlikely to finish there. Tottenham still has a great chance of finishing in the top five or four, because the point difference is currently not far from Man United and Newcastle, even though Tottenham has one game more than them.

I think Liverpool already miss the chances when they played against Chelsea, they should have win the match to stablized their points, now they have their next match against Arsenal, and the way Aresenal is in form, they may trash and humiliate Liverpool again in Anfield and I don't think they will be able to sustain their standing, Fulham may overtake them because they have higher winning rate in thier next match than Liverpool and Brentford.

I think the so called "several clubs whose level is below them" are even more dangerous than the Tottenham and Arsenal that's left for Liverpool to play, why?  Reason being these clubs will be fighting with all what they have to actually make sure that are clear of the relegation zone so I think Liverpool still really have slot of work to do. I just surprised at their performance this season  reason being that they actually performed brilliantly last season. Jorgen klopp is a fantastic manager and I know he would tighten the bolt to all the loose end that caused their misfortune in the premier league this season.

When there is a football team that has been abandoned by its best players and is now able to develop for the better, that is an extraordinary achievement. Manchester United has given that trust to its supporters, and finally they know that Manchester United can rise from adversity, and it all just takes time and hard work to achieve it. In this match, they will be against Everton, and hopefully Manchester United will win even if by a narrow score to try to grab the top three positions at the top of the standings.

I predict that Newcastle will make the champions league this year based on their recent performance.

Seem yes, I feel like Manchester City Deja Vu when look Newcastle's performance for this session. After being bought by Arabian Millioners, Newcastle transformed into a club worth reckoning with the bigger club. Their squad is not too special like Liverpool and other clubs, but the strategy is the same when playing on the field. I am really sure the key player like Miguel Almiron, Bruno Guimaraes, Fabian Schar and Nick Pope could will be more expensive if can bring Newcastle on the Champions League zone after this session.

There is no reason to think that Newcastle's squad is strong. If we compare with the squad of Manchester City, United, or Liverpool, then it can be understood that the squad of Newcastle is quite weak in comparison. However, after the change of ownership, perhaps the confidence of Newcastle's players has strengthened. At the same time, there has been an unprecedented change in their match strategy. Their main aim is to secure 1 point and not lose the match. Newcastle has lost just 3 matches this season. Where Manchester City lost 4 and United lost 7 matches. Liverpool have a had bad record this season. A clash with Chelsea would have been a bonus point for them due to Chelsea current position.  but that's I wouldn't blame them cuz Chelsea just had a change of manager and we're expected to win the match due to the fact that players would want to display their best so they could secure a permanent shirt in the first team but I doubt Arsenal will humiliate Liverpool in Anfield. Ifworst comes to worst, It will either be a win for Liverpool or a draw.

The game has ended unfortunately Chelsea lost at home 0-2 to Aston Villa, Chelsea played 27 shots on goal 8 on target yet couldn't register or score a goal with likes of Mudryk, Kai Havertz, Felix missed chances, honestly this an unacceptable performance by the team infact after the final whistle Chelsea players were booed by their fans who vented their anger and frustration about the team performance, I  think Graham Potter's job will at stake if the team continue with their current poor runs, infact their chances of playing any European competition next season is becoming very unrealistic only if they win UCL this season which is absolutely not going to happen.

The statistics looks wasted indeed because from 27 total of shoots none of that even became a goal but i have been watching the match in the first half and Chelsea have put in a lot of efforts to scores but i don't know why seems Aston Villa can predict it and anticipated Chelsea attacking strategy and Chelsea actually gets good opportunities by Mykhailo Mudryk but unfortunately he cannot utilized that opportunity but do not forget about Martinez performance too because in my opinion he was performing well to guarded Aston Villa defense

However Aston Villa were playing very effective that they didn't need many touches of the ball to put Chelsea defense at risk and they just needed a quick counterattack to scores goals and defeated Chelsea and after this lost Chelsea position are down to 11th and apparently they have to forget to play at european competitions for next season

Liverpool - Arsenal game is closing in on us now. This is a very important game for especially Arsenal of course. They need to keep this good form continuing for the league title. They already have a significant level of advantage against Manchester City in the standings. The point gap is quite big and even playing their missing game wouldn't be enough to get too close to Arsenal.

While Liverpool are kind of aimless now Arsenal should go for this opportunity. Even though this is a big game anyway I still expect to see Arsenal being dominant here. Liverpool are still struggling with the same defensive issues.
