Well all of remaining matches are the final games for Arsenal. Early goal by Southampton triggered the game to more entertaining level but didn't expect two goals. This is the best PL match ever that played on Friday this season!

Some people may be happy because they can try it out that Southampton would win this match, Southampton has a bigger odd and if they win tonight it is going to be a lucky day for them. But with what I am seeing, it is just first half and Arsenal is about to equalize, just one goal remaining, Southampton may be trying not to relegate but maybe not with Arsenal today to begin with because I still believe that Arsenal would win this match. Not interesting at all unless Arsenal equalized and win.

Lol yeah I'd consider to bet on every opponent of Arsenal to score in their next matches. Their defense line looks so fragile, seems Saliba really played an important role during this season. I hope Arsenal could win too, so their competition with City will be kept until the end of season.

Basically, Arsenal must avoid mistakes in their defense so that their chances of winning are better. They are the team most likely to win the game in terms of quality but their two mistakes today have come at a cost. Of course there is still plenty of time to wait for some changes, but about Arsenal's chances of winning I think it will be doubtful if during the first half they are not able to score 2 goals.

I must admit that my excitement / curiosity is rising! Not that I am against Arsenal, but if Southampton takes home three points here, I think we might just have witnesses another historical moment in the premier league when a team leading the table is throwing away their hard work for a whole season on one evening...

If you want to win this title, you can't lose this game, period. Everyone will say that it's not only this game and I concur with that, but still, this game in particular, you can't lose it. Now let's see the last part of it and either be shocked and think about Guardiola's smile on his face, or Arsenal corrects their mistakes and make it in the end.

I think that there is no need to panic already now. It is the truth that Arsenal have been very disappointing for two weeks in the league games.

However I'm still expecting them to turn the game around against Southampton after a very shocking start by conceding two goals in the first 15 minutes already. Martinelli's goal is really valuable before the end of the first half. This should be very helpful for Arsenal to fight with all they have got in the second half. Arteta must be able to increase the level of concentration among the players. They have come a really long way in the season until now and they just can't give up against this kind of easy competitors. They have to win this.

The first half ended with a score of 1-2 now in favor of Southampton. It was obviously made a bit more complicated in the second half if Arsenal didn't try harder.
The reason is that if indeed in this match they have to return to achieve less than optimal results, then like it or not they have to let go of their current position and have to be prepared to congratulate Manchester City.

Arsenal really left their home open in the first half, and Southampton took advantage of the perfect opportunity to score. I don't think Arsenal are mentally strong enough to win the Premier League title under Arteta. Instead of scoring the second goal for a draw, Arsenal had to concede the third goal from Southamton. It was clear that it was a bad day for Arsenal, and now they are under even more pressure to make up for the 2-goal deficit to draw. Southampton started to defend well and avoid mistakes, but there was still 20 minutes to go before the second half.

No joke, Arsenal have been terrible on defense this game. Maybe they underestimated the relegation zone team too much, that should be enough to shock the whole stadium.

Although Arsenal controlled the game, Southampton's defense made it very difficult for Arsenal's players to score goals, Duje Caleta again added to the lead for Southampton in the 66th minute, so that putting Arsenal under increasing pressure to equalize. Arsenal's pressure will be much greater because if the match ends in a defeat or draw, then Man City will benefit from the results of this match.

Arsenal have the better statistics against Southampton, not loosing to them I. Many games so they have another chance today to do what they are used to doing. My only worry for them is how low in motivation and under pressure the players may feel after drawing two consecutive games and loosing their advantage against Manchester City. With that kind of pressure, it can make players make mistakes that can cost them the game. Arsenal need to remain focus on scoring even if they are able to score two goals first. They do not need to stop until the officials say they have won. If they loose against Southampton, it will be certain that they cannot win the premier league this season.

Alcaraz's goal in minute 1 made all the supporters stunned. hopefully, Arsenal can really get up and not sink with their mentality that went down because the last two matches were not optimal. Likewise, with a quick goal in this match, Southampton might change their strategy to a strong defense mode. it could get Arsenal in trouble. but I still hope Arsenal win in this fight.

Asernal condition may be severe in recent times but not to the point of predicting Southampton to win them in tonight's matches because they're in a critical time and every match must be a win for them to be able to remain in top form for the rest of the season, there is no doubt that Asernal recent outing has witnessed steady fall back in formation and that has further exposed them to dangers from other clubs who have taken time to study Asernal weaknesses to be able to put up a formidable opposition but at the end, Arsenal will likely win the matches.

And if I must choose between both clubs for this match I will pick Asernal for a straight winning,  instead of risking my bet on the other club who has no track records compared to Asernal.

Arsenal had the chance to increase the point gap but they failed and now they are losing matches that are winnable to them. I will consider it as fatigue because the young players tried well from the beginning of the season.

Is been a good run for Arsenal until now. Don't know but, they seemed to have there confidence in the results they could come up with switched off. The Arsenal o am watching now is definitely not a team that could luck horns with Manchester City and win. The league title is lost to them as it is with them losing against the bottom table team Southampton.
What an embarrassing moment for Arsenal, losing to a bottom table team, conceiving 3 goals and at a crucial time when they need all the points from there remaining games. Manchester City is sure to take full advantage of this window.

Yeah Arsenal keep throwing away their previous points in several last games, and such a shame if they dont win the league since premier league is the only competition they playing in currently.

Yeah it's a common practice to analyze the opponent and find their kryptonite. I think Southampton learnt so much from all of matches Arsenal lost, but it's quite late since they are in the bottom position.

It has been confirmed that it looks like they are likely to lose the championship now. On the other hand, the most painful thing is that they did not lose to a club that was the favorite to win but had to be willing to lose to a club that is now a strong candidate for relegation.
In the end, Manchester City won the EPL again this season and won it for the third season in a row.

This is exactly what I was saying shouldnt happen to them and now they have fallen behind by three goals to one. This match could definitely seal the fate of arsenal in this league because now they will have to pray that Manchester city also loses their own game which is going to be very difficult for them because Manchester city are like hungry lions looking for just a loop hole to overtake them and they have by their own hands gifted Manchester city that golden opportunity tonight but that's only if the game end like this in favor of Southampton.
