After Manchester United lost two premier league matches in a row while Liverpool won in those two matchweeks, the gap between the two teams was narrowed and to just one point thus the panic from Manchester United fans.
But after winning their match yesterday, Manchester United went 4 points ahead of Liverpool and also having the same number of games played.
Erik Ten Hag must do anything within his tactical ability to make sure that Manchester United finishes the season in top four and yesterday's win was a great step to achieve that.

Now that Manchester United is 4 points ahead of Liverpool, I think it's pretty safe. I see that it seems that Newcastle's position will be overtaken by Manchester United, now they have the same number of points, while Ten Hag has a few more games against a weak team like Bournemouth and I believe Manchester United will easily win the game over Bournemouth. To overtake Newcastle. Meanwhile, Newcastle will face Brighton, if you look at the previous match against Leeds, Newcastle appeared disappointing and ended in a draw against a team that was almost in the relegation zone. I suspect that Newcastle will not be able to get full points against Brighton in the next game.

Chelsea drew yesterday's match. In fact there was a time when Chelsea could easily secure a victory against such a team. But now Chelsea are struggling to secure a victory with those former lesser teams. If worried I think some new changes need to be made.

Lampard was always changing the formation and line up in any matches. Don't you even be aware of that? You can even try to see the line ups that being used in any matches. It seems like that if lampard will never able to make it happen, i meant about the consistency from the club by picking consistent line up. Lampard was doing many experiments with chelsea. He has been also doing the same with everton and he is repeating the same mistake again in chelsea.
Sterling was making two goals but the defensive lines of chelsea shall become the main concern here. Nottingham was making all of goals from heading. That proves that if the defensive line of chelsea is very weak when it was facing high ball.
Chelsea needs to do better in the remaining matches. It's caused by chelsea is only having some difficult matches remaining at the end of season. It's likely chelsea will earn nothing from there.

Newcastle is having trouble right now. After their great win against Tottenham, they are experiencing a bad run now even against much weaker teams. They are still up against Brighton, which is going to be hard but it is a home game, and they are going to play against Chelsea in an away game. Now Chelsea isn't very good at the moment, but that doesn't mean those will be some easy three points for Newcastle at the Stamford Bridge. Given that they are in trouble themselves, it is not impossible that they do lose at least one of those games. If Liverpool wins, it is a 1-point game between them for the Champions League qualifiers.

What I was afraid of finally came true, even though yesterday in the second half Newcastle was 1-2 up but Leeds managed to equalize in 10 minutes remaining, of course it hurt a lot because Newcastle got a draw. If you look at the list of Newcastle's next opponents, maybe only Brighton will make it difficult for them and for two other teams like Leicester or Chelsea I think Newcastle will still be able to win.

But still, Newcastle must not underestimate all of their opponents and they must be more vigilant, at least if they want to secure victory in every match, they must score at least 3 goals to make it easier for them to secure a Champions League ticket.

After watching Chelsea's game yesterday against Nottingham Forest, one could clearly see that Chelsea manager Frank Lampard will had run out of ideas on how to manage the team. He's just trying to gamble in his team selections and see if luck could come their way so they can win.
The season is almost over and at the moment there's no possiblity of Chelsea been relegated, so he'll hang in as the manager until the end of the season but he should be more concerned on his managerial future because I think it'll be very difficult for him to get another job offer from premier league club in the future.

Interesting, this match is important for City to strengthen its position at the top of the standings. that way, City will remain serious about winning the League title this season apart from focusing on the Champions League match later. City has the potential to win three trophies, I'm sure Pep Guardiola will not waste that opportunity.

Well, let's hope that in this match against Everton, none of the Manchester City players were injured or tired. Because after all in a short time of rest must be utilized as much as possible. The match is already on and from the line up Guordiola featured his regular first team except Kevin DeBryne that is on bench, of course Guordiola knew the consequences of dropping a point at this crucial stage of the league with Arsenal likely to win all their remaining matches. Everton also needed a positive result to keep the hope of surviving relegation with few matches to the end of the league a loss will dent that hope of their survival.

Just two minutes later, Manchester United scored 2 goals against Everton, and the first goal thanks to Mahrez's sweet cross was completed by Gundogan's shot against Pickford in the 37th minute and Haaland's second goal in the 39th minute.
Even though from the first minute to the 35th minute, Everton defended well and also created several chances, but for some reason they changed and were easily broken into so that Manchester City were able to score 2 goals in just two minutes.

Manchester City does have a good squad from all fronts and the game always dominates from opponents, and actually I hope this match is a draw so that Arsenal's chances are really wide open. But we all know that Manchester City is a very good team and always produce good results in every match, so it seems difficult for Evertom to even the scores and also considering this is only the first half and already 0-2 behind.

I thought there would be no goals scored in the first half, but Manchester City managed to do it with 2 goals scored at the end of the first half and that made their current lead so guaranteed to win. The goals scored by Gundogan and Haaland allowed Manchester city to breathe a sigh of relief. This also added Haaland's goal collection to a total of 36 goals for the time being. He is indeed a frightening monster for the EPL team.

Meanwhile, Everton, even though they are the host, will not be able to withstand the onslaught of attacks from Manchester City and it seems that they will again lose the match because the difference of 2 goals is very difficult for a team like them to be able to equalize or reverse the situation in the second half later.

Manchester city might still end up scoring more goals in the second half of the match, Everton performance is not really bad but Manchester city is just better than them.

As we have seen together, it is too difficult for Everton to stop Manchester City in their race to win the Premier League title this season. Everton may have slowed the game tempo as long as Manchester City haven't found a goal, but there was absolutely no point when Gundogan and Haaland both found goals in the first half.

You couldn't expect Everton to equalize if Manchester City didn't reduce the intensity of their attacks in the second half. The advantage of 2 goals will make it easier for Manchester City to control the course of the match which will probably maintain that advantage until the match ends. Everton are too weak to expected for even though they plan this game as difficult as possible for the away team.

Erik Ten Hag is doing a great job for Manchester United, the result for those back to back loses for myself should be as a result of fatigue of which they've already had two days break before preparing for Wolverampton.
The loss the Brighton was understandable but I couldn't condone the loss to West Ham all because they weren't the better side and team that day, the error from David De Gea gave them all the three points.

Right now, three games are left to play, if Manchester United can just focus to win all three then we can successfully qualify for the Champions League next season, Rashford out and Garnacho back in, I pray the young lad remains in same formation and momentum next season.

It’s the half time mark and I don’t think anyone thought Everton stood a chance against Manchester City. Man city, having scored two goals in the first half is ahead and on its way to finally win the game. Gündoğan is a great and experienced player and this showed with his goal today. He was flanked by defenders and couldn’t afford to waste any time trying to turn, therefore flicking the ball into the bottom corner. Knew where the goal was and didn’t need to look. Amazing player.
Haaland on the other hand, had the advantage of his height and jumped well above everyone else and easily with a header, put the ball at the back of the net to give his side another goal.
Everton has tried in holding their own but they actually can’t do much in holding back the pressure put on by Manchester City.
