When Vardy decided to extend his contrast last summer until 2024, he didn't think for a second that 9 months later they are about to get relegated into the EFL Championship. I am curious whether he wants to stay with Leicester and go through this and try to be promoted next year or whether he is going to jump ship. If Vardy is so dedicated to the club then surely, Vardy will still be playing for Leicester no matter what. I agree with you that Manchester City definitely don't want to take any chances, and it's likely they will go down with a squad not fully stocked with first-team players, or they won't play them for 90 minutes. The main reason is because they have confirmed themselves to be Premier League champions, and they need a full squad to play in the top matches of the Champions League which will determine whether they will be able to realize their dream so far to win the Champions League, or they have to bury their hopes again. this season and try again next season.
