Brighton have given Manchester city a good fight tonight, after conceding the first goal early in the first half Brighton have reacted bravely and pushed City back, creating good chances and converting one to make the scoresheet 1-1. I just love the spirit and confidence Brighton are displaying tonight against the league’s champions, if they win tonight, it will be well deserved for Brighton because they have pushed so hard for it.

Being awhile I saw the Cityzens act so unsure of themselves in a game, but today I saw it done by Brighton. An interesting game no doubt but at the end of the day, it ended in a draw.
 With 20 goal attempts and 7 on goal, I expected the game to end in Brighton's favor what with the chances gotten by Welbeck and Mitoma but at least they can be consoled by the 1 point, especially when they would have almost blasted it had Enciso not come to their rescue.

I think the game played out in Brighton's favour because the league winners Manchester city didn't show total level of seriousness because they are league champions already but at least they maintained good performance by not conceding more than 1 goal and not losing the game too because Brighton mounted a lot of pressure on their defense. Everyone felt the game would end in favour of Brighton because of the number of chances they created but they were lucky that Manchester city's second goal that was scored by Erling Haaland was later cancelled otherwise it would have been a victory for Manchester city even after the beautiful performance of Brighton

This could also be one of the reasons but still looking at Brighton's performance in this match it is already very good.
I was thinking of something different for the second half from Manchester City but indeed it looks like they are satisfied with the result and not doing anything bigger than Pep is in favor of Brighton.
1 point in this game is enough for them to secure a place in the Europa League next season and of course that is a very good thing for them.

Brighton became the most impressive team in the second half of this season because they were able to provide very exciting resistance against strong teams at the top of the standings.  they had 3 pretty strong matches in the last 3 matches in which Brighton was able to beat arsenal and draw against manchester city in this match but they lost badly when they faced Newcastle United. But so far they have been strong enough at home which makes it difficult for their opponents to get full points at their home ground.

But Halland goal was annulled by the referee for a violation otherwise Manchester City will get 3 points again in this match. But Manchester City had locked the title in the previous match so they didn't play more aggressively like the previous match. Even so, Manchester City winning trend is still quite impressive because they are able to maintain it unbeaten.

Sometimes it was a high speed back and forth between Brighton and Manchester City and the game would have probably deserved more goals (or more valid goals).

Since the game was not about anything anymore, they didn't really try that hard until the 94th minute to win it. But Manchester City had their chances and I was of the impression that they wanted to win that game to cross the 90 points mark again this season. They still have one chance to do it and even though some people could think that it is not important anymore, I believe that seasons in the Premier League with 90 points and even more are special and memorable. They are anyway when you win the title, but 90 points and then one day the 100 points mark could still be a goal.

I think this surprise expectation of this Brighton teams goes for everyone because nobody actually taught that they can make it this far and at the end of everything they have successfully secured a Europa league spot which is a great achievement for this Brighton team.

Brighton already proved long time ago when the league was intended that they’re capable of making it far this season. For them to finish in the first half of the table, they really deserved it and a very good deserving qualification to the Europa League makes it more achievement to them this season.

But I feel the reason why Brighton actually secured a draw today is because this Manchester city team are already champions of England and needs to rest some vital player for their big match ahead.

Even if they never rested any player, it is very difficult to play at Brighton home stadium and secure a win. Let’s just assume it’s because they rested some vitals player but I still think Brighton can still stand them to a draw even if they were to play with their full squad today.

What is still quite interesting is the match between Man United and Chelsea. If Man United can beat Chelsea, their ranking will rise to replace Newcastle. Maybe this doesn't really matter because after all, Man United has also qualified for the UCL, but surely there will be pride in itself if you can finish in the top 3 of the EPL, right?

They should be some pride in that or maybe some more incentives that comes with finishing in third place rather than the fourth place in the table . But if there’s no any, putting it down in a record is also an achievement that every team will love to have to their name. Chelsea are currently not fighting for anything and Manchester United has also secured a UCL spot, maybe the match will be boring to watch.

Manchester City started the game pretty well against Brighton and they scored the first goal but against Haaland had an effect on the first goal of this game but after that, Brighton scored three goals!  
However, two goals were not accepted by the VAR but still, they had enough opportunity to score these goals and they had enough chance against a team like Manchester City which is really interesting for me.
I think if they play like this in the second half we can even see Brighton winning this game against Manchester City.

VAR foiled the goal from Mitoma because of the condition of his active hand and of course Manchester City also, especially for Haaland, it was quite good from the referee's decision.
But in this match the interesting thing is when the kick from Encisco is really very good and I like the goal created by Brighton in this match.
Not a bad score for them and of course this is a good thing for Brighton.

It's more towards prestige I think.
Manchester City have to try to get into that position even though this is also as said not much impact on the position but 3 points will make them more confident.
But on the other hand, if they don't do this well, then at least in this match they have to try to get 1 point in order to secure their position first from Liverpool's pursuit.

Congratulations to Brighton for sealing a place in the Europa League next season, they really deserve it and they have worked so hard for it, their manager Roberto De Zerbi deserves an awful amount of credit for what he has done with this team, when Graham Potter left Brighton for Chelsea i thought the club was going to struggle for sometime, but Roberto De Zerbi just slotted right into the position, and look what he has achieved now.

Having said that, for City their EPL winning run comes to an end, but it really doesn't mean anything, they have already been crowned champions, they just need these games to ensure they are in the right shape for the two finals ahead, and Brighton really made them work hard today which will prolly help them find areas they can improve in.

After a very long time to take part in EPL and brighton finally qualified for the europa league. Aston villa has no chance anymore to replace brighton caused by it has 4 points gap. manchester city was not performing with the main squads since the beginning of game.

I think Manchester United have pretty good capital in facing Chelsea because the previous two wins have made them in good enough condition to secure full points at Old Trafford. especially in Chelsea situation that is down this season, of course Manchester United can take advantage of this opportunity to win the match.

Well, a draw will make Manchester United comfortable sitting in the top 4 until the end of the competition. But I think erik ten hag will definitely be chasing wins and that's pretty wide open for them in this game.

With today's draw against Manchester City it has been confirmed that they will progress to the Europa League next season and it is a very good achievement for Zerbi in his first season at Brighton as coach. I was actually a bit doubtful at the start of the season because apart from their coach leaving a lot of their core players left but Brighton have exceeded my expectations this season.

Some of their core players leaving like Cucurella, Trossard and a few others have not hindered them this season and in fact this is like a moment of awakening for them.
Honestly at the start of the season when they lost a few players and their form faltered a bit then I thought it was over for Brighton but they continued to make some changes and Zerbi has really been a good replacement for Potter.
But with the current conditions it looks like they have to try to hold on to their players a little bit because we know that Mac Alister and Caicedo are now also quite attractive to big clubs at the moment. 1 point is very good for them because regardless of anything with this result they should also be grateful because for the Manchester City squad regardless of the reserve or core I think the comparison is not too far away and still as scary and good they can achieve this result.

Now they are preparing for next season's Europa League.

Right After 12 consecutive wins they finally ended their winning streak even though it was only a draw but indeed this is very good to stop.

They still wanted to win it with players they used in the match but surely that they did not want to use 100% they have for that match. Days are counting down till the Champions League final match, which is one of biggest matches in Manchester City history so far.

It does not make sense to win against Brighton and see like De Bruyne or Haaland injured and miss the final match that is coming. I really understand why Manchester City got this draw, first Brighton are not too weak and second Manchester City did not fully fight with their best in the match.

With what I saw in the Brighton team I just concluded that Brighton played better football than Arsenal against Manchester City, they [Brighton] didn't let the players of City intimate them, it even made them [Brighton] to play their best. Brighton's performance was outstanding, they made City to be restless and even making mistakes. Next season would be tough for the current champions of the EPL   and Brighton will be a team to watch, never forget the Newcastle team too.

We see that Man United sometimes doesn't show impressive performances because even though the results could be better this season than last season, Man United is not a special team that can be so dangerous for any team but Chelsea is even worse. This match will not be considered a big match because Chelsea's appearance, which only shows an average match, does not even show that they are a strong team. The home factor will be favorable for United and in fact, they only need a draw to secure a place in the top four so they are no longer overtaken by Liverpool.

Liverpool really struggled at the start of the season until the middle of the season for some reason it happened to them, I don't think Mane's departure to Bayern Munich was one of the causes that they experienced a very obvious drop in appearance, but at least they have tried to improve, and finally made sure they played in the European league next seasons, although of course, this is not what they want to achieve because playing in the champions league will certainly be more prestigious, but not competing in one of the European competitions is certainly even more unpleasant, isn't it?

What a game it was! I've impressed with the way Brighton played. A stubborn team like Brighton really deserve the success. That equalizer goal by Enciso was just amazing. It's right to say that Brighton deserve to be where they are right now, and I can't wait to see them compete in Europa next season. They've had such a wonderful season, and hopefully they'll continue to impress us.

I also want to give a shoutout to City for giving us such an entertaining game. Even though they had already won the league, they could've laid back and bore us with a lackluster performance. Instead, they kept up the intensity and gave us a truly wonderful match.
