Chelsea are still trying to come out of their shame, they are not different right now from Manchester United that is having his players fight in court. The competitive nature is what amazes me about the premier league and that is why a lot of people refer to it as the best league in the world. It is full of suprises and dramas and seeing Chelsea and Manchester United struggle is not a surprise to me, they are probably just going through their own phase of poor form which virtually all teams in the league have their own time of struggle. Even the superior Manchester City that have been winning the league back to back use to be an average team over the years until Guardiola came in and transformed them. Arsenal as well was struggling few years back but they are currently one of the best in the league now.

If Tottenham should go on to win it i would be happy for them but it would be no surprise since Leicester City who got promoted to the premier league suprised us all and went on to win the league in 2016. When new youngsters with a lot of potential is seen anywhere, their scouts already follow these players and recruit them. It's like a new race between the biggest clubs in the world. That way they don't have to spend insane amount of money for new players. It's a mix between finding good youngsters from youth development and buying them from other teams.
For example City bought Jeremy Doku for 65 million Euro from Rennes and Gvardiol for 90 million Euro from RB Leipzig. That's crazy amount of money but they also have star players like Philip Foden and that cost almost nothing. Having a good youth development academy and good scouts are two of the most important things in modern football era.

But By the way, they have a very interesting away game this weekend. Manchester City travel to West Ham for Week 5 of the Premier League, so I think this is a match worth looking forward to.

From my observers, in their 4 matches in this competition, City has experienced a decline in the quality of goals. City's expectations are too big given the record they have. Even though they carried out their matches smoothly, their goal productivity decreased greatly. except, during the Fulham match. The point is that since Pep has not re-applied his 3-2-4-1 formation pattern, there has been a change in their camp. Luckily Pep is a smart coach and has lots of tactics and strategies, he is now more inclined to implement a 4-2-3-1 system.

Even I want the trophy to be spread within different clubs in the premier league. Tottenham trophy drought may still continue this season but hopefully they can adjust and improve their play, be in consistent form till the end of the season before we can assume or shortlist to be among the teams that may get to win any of the English league trophies. I don’t have much confidence in this club as I do for Manchester City who continue their winning streak are on top of the table for the meantime now.

It would be a very tough match for both teams, because city are the defending champions and would want to maintain a good record, while Westham though are the underdogs but would definitely make it very tough for city to get the ball info the net based on their present form in the past matches this season, however the favourite for this match remain Mancity, but i won't be suprised if it ends with a draw cause that's my expectation.
