Last season their journey was not very smooth and they were almost unable to play in European competitions. If the remaining matches players had not shown a strong struggle then this season Liverpool would only have played in domestic competitions but fortunately, they managed to get out of difficulties and were also helped quite a lot with its competitors actually getting poor results in the remaining matches.
